Our hotel room was very big, especially for Tokyo. Really stylish, retro design throughout. The hotel itself is very big with plenty of amenities. Great bar space, as well as multiple restaurants. Our favourite part of the visit has to be the breakfast, which is pretty much on the top floor of the hotel. All of the team working at breakfast were incredibly friendly and so welcoming. The option for a traditional Japanese breakfast was amazing and the views of the city were amazing.
The hotel is located in a fairly boring area, with no real options for food or drink, other than the hotel itself. It's pretty expensive too, but we knew this when we booked it. We treated it as a bit of an 'end of holiday treat'.

Superb hotel. Loved the style and mid-century modern decor, very big rooms especially for Tokyo, sumptuous bathrooms and caring staff. Small details like doors that close silently and indoor viewing gardens add extra luxury. This hotel is very well located with easy access to 2 important subway lines and fast connections. Major landmarks like Meiji shrine and areas like Harajuku and Shibuya are walkable from the hotel The neighborhood is both chic and calm with proximity to restaurants, shops, all night supermarkets and great coffee shops.
Nothing. It’s expensive but well worth it. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was amazing, there were western and japanese options which I really like. There was a lot included and also the option to book more for an additional fee, which is totally fine, as the buffet options were broad and really nicely displayed.
The mattres of the bed was really hard and less comfortable, which is a shame as the hotel exceeded my expectations by far in all other categories.

Very new and spacious for a Hotel in Tokyo. We tried all the resturant and really enjoyed the food there from their Japanese omasske to their Japanese fusions. Even the room service was great. Location is amazing, quiet and peaceful but yet walking distance to the high end fashion and street fashion district in less than 20mins. Train station in on the ginza line which is only 2mins walk away. Also, opposite the hotel there is a 24 hour proper supermarket where you can get cooked and fresh food 😋. Many eateries around too. There is a also a Cafe downstairs called City that we get coffee every day.
Love the hotel and location, cant think of anything we don't like! Too many good points of the hotel that there is zero thing we don't like about it. Our teenagers love it so much that once they get back to their room, they wanna stay in and not leave.

I had a wonderful 1 month staycation at the Aoyama Grand Hotel, staying in the King Suite. Ive already had high expectations based on the reviews Ive seen by travel influencers on social media, and what I got in terms of service, personnel, cleanliness, aesthetic, convenience as well as location far exceeded my expectations. From the first moment you enter the hotel you feel the warmth from the staff. I had asked some things before my arrival and everything done to my satisfaction. Most hotels in Japan have smaller windows, in my room, the windows were from floor to ceiling; the view was beautiful and looked charming at night with all the lights closed, felt like I had my own personal sky view in both living room and bedroom. The closet was nice and spacious, there was a washing machine provided with instructions if needed, there was a fridge that had complimentary drinks and food that would get refreshed daily as well as providing so much water bottles. The bed was one of the most comfortable Ive come across in my travels. The hotel is immaculate in cleanliness - it looked brand new, modern and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and worth the price; the restaurant too - the staff are kind and will explain and suggest meals if you dont know what to pick. The pancake here is the best Ive had in my stay in tokyo. The biggest highlight of the hotel for me is the location; its walking distance to the most popular areas like shinjuku, shibuya, roppongi, yoyogi park, harajuku and has several 24 hour convenience stores on the same block. Its also very convenient that a station is 3 minutes away by foot. I left feeling very happy and not wanting for more because all my needs were satisfied, I will definitely be coming back and have already made it my hotel of choice in Tokyo. I was so happy here I extended my stay last minute during peak season and they did their best to accommodate; The staff in this hotel have went above and beyond to make my stay so happy.
I am honestly very happy with everything. There was a very mild inconvenience with getting into the hotel rooms; You have to get to the fourth floor (reception) from the main entrance, and then from there have access to the elevators that take you to the hotel rooms. However, I understand this is a security measure.

The most amazing view, helpful staff and great overall experience. We had an amazing room, it was aleays made up well, and great selection of snacks and drinks in the mini-bar. We had a birthday surprise arranged to our room and everything went super smoothly regarding that and the staff kept the secret😅 Loved our room and the location was also great, close to the metro. Breakfast selection was quite slim, but we enjoyed it anyway! The staff was just amazing. 10/10 would recommend this hotel if you have the budget.
Cannot thing of anything negative, but wanted to mention that my pyjamas disappeared one day after cleaning. Fortunately, when we asked in the reception, it had been found and was delivered immidiately. 🙏 Thank you for that, it was a special pyjamas!

Grand Aoyama’s ambience and vibes make us feel at home. The rooms are so modern and aesthetically pleasing, decorated with curated artwork from Japanese artist. Breakfast is fairly limited but of high quality except for the pho (having come from Australia, we know bad or good pho). View from our rooms is stunning as we can see Tokyo Skytree and parts of the city. Station is just 2 minutes walk, Omotesando is 5-6 minutes walk. The famous Gingko trees is 10 minutes walk. We actually felt very sad leaving the hotel on our last day in Japan.
We got the impression that the family suite that we had booked came with laundry facility (washing machine) but for some reason our room didnt have a washing machine 😱😱 and Tokyo was our last destination so we had loads of dirty clothes. This was the only thing we were disappointed in.

Our suite was cosy and grand all at once, and everything in the room well considered. The views were very nice! Extra points for the humidifier set on by the bed during night service, as well as a the complimentary, well equipped mini bar / tea set. Program the hotel had planned for New Year’s Day was culturally and craftily enlightening.
All shared spaces from corridors to restaurants were extremely hot with a boosting heater overhead, which made us always only rush through. Breakfast service ending at 10:30 on New Year’s Day felt too early, and when we arrived right at the ending time we were rushed to grab what we could at once and could not enjoy a calm moment. The breakfast room seemed un equipped to host both hotel guests and external brunch guests. Staff seemed very junior and inexperienced overall, and we hardly got answers to our questions or when asking for recommendations. We didn’t feel understood. House cleaning was very, very slow.

We arrived to the hotel after a 14 hour flight with a few hours to spare until check-in. It is very easy to get to from Haneda. The staff at the Aoyama Grand were so incredibly kind and put us at ease by offering to take our bags and allow us to use their private shower room to shower and freshen up. We were also given a free welcome drink which was a lovely gesture. We had previously informed the staff that it was our honeymoon and they did their utmost to make this special, including decorating our room and providing drinks on ice. The room was so beautiful and the complementary drinks and products were a great addition. The breakfast was sublime and definitely the best breakfast we had during our 3 week honeymoon across Japan. Outstanding experience and will definitely go again!
Everything was perfect!

the hotel is quite nice: well-made design (not outstanding, but definitely pleasant and also functional), great facilities, location, the view from the room on 17th floor was fantastic). great helpful staff, nice restaurants (haven't been there, but the menu looks quite promising). I would rate it as 9,6, unless the size (and the hours of operation) of the smoking area
the smokling area for the whole hotel and on-site venues (restaurants, shops, some offices, i believe) is 3sq.m, with almost no ventilation, and no place to seat. i can understand (and to some extent understand) the country is fighting smoking, but i don't think that the right way to do it is to physically exterminate smokers :) Apart from that, it was closed after 12:30 am. (as it happens typically in the large companies, the protocols and routines are built to make operations smoother, rather than to fit the interests of the clients.)
