Very nice hotel, big room with large bathroom including own laundry. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The location is slightly removed but in just a few minutes walk there are plenty of restaurants and the metro station.

The room was great for what we needed! The large bathroom was exactly what we were hoping for. We loved relaxing in the tub. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was nice to have. We were lucky enough to have a washer/dryer in the room which came in handy since we stayed for a while. The location is safe, quiet, and near some nice restaurants including the Kill Bill Restaurant! The only downside was that there was little to no storage space for clothing & shoes.

While it is Tokyo and room size is relatively small, this room are very small and within this small size, the room design is not ideal. designer wanted to give it all: sleeping area, sofa and TV, working desk and min kitchen (sink and micro). To much for such a small space and it has its price: sofa is a min sofa, the bathroom door is smaller than standard so tall people need to bend. No place to open suitcases and no place to store them. Bed was too hard for us. Its 9 min walk from the subway. In Tokyo this is a bit too far.

The room we stayed in was on the larger side compared to typical Japanese hotel rooms. It also had in-room washing machine and dryer, which made laundry a lot easier. Location of the hotel was great! It's in the heart of Roppongi and it's easy to walk to lots of restaurants and subway stations. The staff was very helpful in answering our questions. Bonus recommendation: the hotel restaurant is surprisingly good. We went there for dinner one time and their truffle fries were super tasty. The breakfast there was great too.

I absolutely loved my stay at Roppongi S hotel. It was the perfect place to escape after a few busy and bustling nights in Shinjuku. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully designed. I enjoyed a nice long bath and took advantage of the other in-room ammenities such as a mini fridge, kettle and microwave. Breakfast was lovely and staff were attentive. I loved the slower paced Roppongi area and many tourist attractions like museums, Teamlabs Boarderless and shops are within walking distance of the hotel. Very happy with my stay at Roppongi S and would highly recommend it.

Some basic cutlery and plates might have been useful to have in the room, but I’m sure if I had asked reception they would have been happy to provide these.

room was big enough for 2 people and 2 luggage's, impressive the fact it had a closet where if you stay longer could store your clothes avoiding to keep them in the luggage. Location is good enough considering that Roppongi metro is at 650 m , but also Taxi is verry affordable in Tokyo. Lot of restaurants and small food shops. Bed was very comfy for me ( I prefer soft beds). Good expresso machine in the room and refrigerator where highly appreciated.

The room was large by Japanese standards and generally comfortable and there were plenty of outlets for charging. The hotel's location is great, the staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was surprisingly good. We had expected to go out for dinner but it was raining hard so we ate at the hotel restaurant and were very pleased with the food. The wine pours were generous.

Also, the part of the room with the beds had very little light other than small reading lights.

Our room was big and comfortable and had its own washer and dryer. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always available to answer any questions we had. Breakfast was great and constantly getting topped up so that the food was fresh. Roppongi hills was only a short walk away and there was easy access to the subway.

We were travelling with our 9 month old daughter so it would have been helpful to have a high chair available at breakfast.

Great location. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Staff efficient and friendly. Really good breakfast. Excellent value for money. I hadn’t expected it to be as good as it was for this price point. If you need a good hotel from which to go out into Tokyo and won’t break the bank, Hotel S really works.

No iron in room. Noisy if you open window as on a busy road. Quiet with window closed though.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the lighting in the room is dim. This is a design choice for ambiance, and it really pulls the room together, so we enjoyed it. Everything, from the room to the common areas, is clean and thoughtfully designed. This made the hotel a very comfortable place to retire to after a day of crazy crowds. Also, the hotel is in a quiet area, about a 10 minute walk from "downtown" Roppongi and the nearest subway. For me this is a positive but other travelers may be looking for even more convenience. There is lots of good food in the immediate area surrounding the hotel, if you know where to look.

The breakfast was high-quality but limited and repetitive. We only ate it a couple times before we got tired of it. This is fine because the nearby Family Mart is actually great for breakfast, plus we had a minifridge so we could pick up an outside breakfast from the night before. Also, the bar was seemingly never open. I typically like a night cap at the end of the day, but we didn't get the opportunity.
