The hot bath was just amazing. While staying in Toyama we went to the Mount Tate. So after the whole day of wolking and freezing it was a pleasure to come back to Dormy Inn Toyama and to spend the evening in hot water, chilling and enjoying. The whole room is arrange very comfortable and welcoming. Having an ice after the bath and browse through some manga books was a very calming ending of a nice day. Also the breakfest is worth mentioning - very varied and delicious.

A piece of wallpaper was peeling off in my room, but everything else in this hotel just made it unimportant. If I had a tape with me I would have fixed it myself.

Excellent choice to explore Toyama. Very close to a bus stop and city centre. Much of our sightseeing was at walkable distances. Including toyama castle, river cruise, glass museum, science museum etc. less than 20min walk from toyama railway station. Plus it has lots of freebies like free sauna / hot bath and ice lollies after and even free noodles at night. Excellent breakfast with japanese and continental items. Specialty items like the firefly squid, mentaiko omelet etc are found on the breakfast menu which was an unexpected surprise.

The room size is a bit cramped.

Fine location near the glass museum and across from Daiwa with easy public transit options. Beds are comfortable, yet the "view" was basically an airshaft and the room was VERY tight. Staff was kind and helpful and the ice cream in the afternoon was a treat!

There was damage to the wall in our room that I was surprised to see, and the room was quite dark. It was however very clean.

Friendly and helpful staff. Facilities, including the free ice cream, probiotics drink and noodles were great. The breakfast was also excellent and a good snapshot of the regional fare. Very short walk to Toyama castle, and the nearby shopping arcade was interesting.

Walking distance from Toyama station is entirely reasonable (about 10-15 mins), but may be too far for people with mobility issues.

Tidy little Japanese hotel. Great onsen and the free night snacks (Ramen)! Better-than-average breakfast. Nothing to complain given the price.

The wash sink is located in the bedroom but not in the wash room. Parking space limited; need to park in the nearby commercial lot (same price though; and lots of space there)

The hotel's free onsen was very enjoyable! In the women's section, there were 3 pools, which allowed people to spread out, and one pool was outdoors (enclosed, but the temperature was cool which was wonderful). Our room with twin beds felt spacious and comfortable. It was only about a 10 min walk from the bus/train center.

breakfast was very good and abundant - i love japanese breakfast!! I also loved the fact that they have an inner onsen, that's was the main reason for me to chose the hotel. Easy to go to from the train station, either by bus (cash only, no IC card) or on foot. Good quality/price.

The automatic check in, I still can't get used to it. The room was a bit worn out here and there, but mostly good.

I have booked a non smoking twin bed room , however, when I arrived front office, receptionist informed me that I booked a smoking room one bed room and asked me to upgrade to non smoking room with surcharge. Finally I showed them the booking and they arrange the non smoking twin room to us. It should not happened

This was a good Dormy Inn. I enjoyed the onsen and steam room. The location was great. It was near the castle and I took a lovely night and morning stroll. The room was spacious.

The layout of the room was a bit weird as the sink was next to the desk. But that was pretty much it.

The hotel's onsen and breakfast are absolute highlights! The hotel staff is very helpful, the beds comfy and the location convenient. There is a tram station right around the corner and many restaurants along the road to Toyama station. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again.
