The hotel although old was quite pleasant. Some may consider dated to be a problem, but for myself I quite enjoyed the older feel of the hotel and could imagine it would be nostalgic for older revisiting patrons. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant to westerners. The hotel was conveniently situated near top tier restaurants and the train station.

Although described a non smoking room. There was a noticeable smell that this room may have originally been a smoking room. Considering how cheap the stay was, I deemed this issue negligible, although if paying a higher price. I would have found this to be an issue.

Perfect location with only a 10 minute walk from the station. Very fancy type hotel with huge lobby, free coffee and welcome drink of sake, white wine or red wine or a bit of each. Luggage minding. 2 restaurants on site. Clean and very fancy atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is a bit old, and the rooms and facilities looked outdated. But then I found out that the room and bathroom were very clean and bigger than what you usually get in newer hotels. It is about a 6-7 minute walk from Toyama station, which is fine, and there is a Lawson store nearby. The breakfast was really ""good"", and that made a positive points for me.

This is a very nice hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds soft and comfortable. For breakfast there is an extensive choice, mostly Japanese style. The hotel is a 10 minutes walk from the train station. We stayed just one night because we wanted to do the Tateyama Kurobe alpine route a which starts in Toyama, so we didn't see much of Toyama. Near the hotel is a convenience store and there are several restaurants around if you walk about 10 minutes.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very big and there was a bathtub in the bathroom. The staff was very kind! Breakfast was quite good with a lot of options (for people who eat meat/fish). The location is great! It's very close to the train station.

There weren't that many vegetarian options at breakfast.

Has a nice view and the room was spacious and has an unlimited alcohol and coffee drink bar which is nice. Has a massage chair on the 5th floor with other amenities such as shampoo and conditioner, manga and others. The breakfast buffet was great and has nice view of Mt. Tateyama. Add the hospitality of the staffs it was a great choice to choose this hotel

Short walk from station. Staff helped in any way they could. Grand entrance to the hotel offering coffee during day and alcohol welcome drink in evening. Super quiet and comfortable room. Free bikes was also an added bonus. Would totally recommend hotel. Go to glass museum it’s fantastic

They offer well condition bike for me to trsvel around Toyama which is another specisl experience you hard yo get, buffet breakfast is good with variety choice mix with Japanese and wrstern cusine, location is great to Toyama castle and JR station

This family trip left a deep impression on me. The hotel is very near to the central train station, just about 6 mins walk. All the counter staffs are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious everyday. There are many beautiful places of interest and scenery in Toyama city. I am looking forward to going back Toyama next time.
