The DoubleTree by Hilton Aqaba offers a delightful blend of comfort, convenience, and stunning views, making it a standout choice for visitors to Aqaba. The hotel's warm and welcoming atmosphere is immediately felt upon arrival, with the signature DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie greeting setting the tone for a pleasant stay. The rooms are well-appointed, featuring modern amenities and contemporary decor that create a soothing retreat after a day of exploration. The on-site dining options impress with a diverse range of culinary delights, catering to various palates. The hotel's prime location along the Red Sea ensures breathtaking vistas, especially from the rooftop area, providing a perfect spot to unwind. With attentive staff, excellent facilities, and a strategic location, DoubleTree by Hilton Aqaba emerges as a top choice for travellers seeking a memorable stay in this vibrant coastal city. The only thing that I did not like was the internal air conditioning of the rooms, as it was cold during the night and in the winter time, even though during the day it was heating, which is something that I cannot accept as a guest in a five-star hotel. Another minor note is the cleanliness of the external glass facade, as it needs more attention. Finally, I have a proposal since the hotel is currently under maintenance and development work ... take into consideration the possibility of creating a heated pool. Overall, the experience deserves a 8 star score ranking.

Our Executive room was a very nice size with good facilities. It was facing the main road so we did have to contend with the traffic noise but it wasn't too bad. Would have preferred a nicer sea facing view. Breakfast was great, very clean facilities and helpful staff. Always bringing something new to the table i.e. freshly squeezed orange juice, hot croissants etc. Pool was small and did not like the fact that some bedroom balconies could see directly onto the pool area. Staff were extremely attentive with a special mention to Waleed and his front of desk team, Obada and Nour for providing a very professional and smooth service.

Sauna and steam room were mixed and did not cater for segregation or privacy. They also seemed quite dated. There was a separate cost to access a private beach. We were a party of 5 which would have meant 45JD's which made it excessive. I think this should have been included within the room rate.

We got free upgrade to Junior suite, which was nice, although music from rooftop was a bit disturbing. Room was big, clean and staff friendliness and helpfulness was good even for introverts like us. Pool was supposed to close at sunset, but it closed 1,5h earlier.

Room had a few issues. Cold and hot water in the tap were reversed and shower wall leaked water to the bathroom floor, so that it flooded every time you took a shower. Also the air conditioning was a bit loud. Door lock had some issues as well, you need to try to open it several times and use a lot of force to enter. Not a nice first impression when you enter the room.

the room was incredible and very clean with a modern design. the staff were really friendly and happy to help with any requests or questions. the lobby are is nice and the location of the hotel is very convenient. the breakfast was amazing! it was very fresh, diverse and appetising and varied every day. the front desk staff were very kind and nice.

my room was on the 8th floor, and there was this faint sound of a generator of a nearby building through the night. not too annoying but something to note. everything else was amazing.

The reception area, the staff, the breakfast and the room where all 1st class. The roof top bar and entertainment was also enjoyable even when being alone. The Filipino breakfast girls were very helpful and nice.

The automated email reply was a little annoying, I got the same auto email for every message I sent to the hotel. "Dear Sender I will be out of office on Jun 16th & will get back to you once coming back on duty for urgent matters, kindly contact the reservation department at : [email protected] Many thanks," Very annoying when I just wanted to communicate with a human

We only stayed in Aqaba for one night after visiting Wadi Rum and before travelling on to Europe. We had limited expectations but we genuinely enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff were extremely polite and helpful from reception through to the bar (where they were doing staff training but still looked after us) through to the guys on security. All were lovely and helpful. We’ve stayed in a similar branded hotel in New York which was larger but it was very familiar in terms of design. We had a water view and were happy with our room. It was the best quality room we stayed in during our stay in Jordan. We loved our evening in the rooftop bar with an excellent band and vocalist and wonderful views across to Israel. The walk to the no-cost local beach was very quick from this hotel and we were so surprised by what a lovely place this part of Aqaba is. We had a lovely walk along the beach, ate in a great local Al fresco restaurant and finished off our only day in Aqaba in the hotel rooftop bar. It certainly exceeded our expectations.

Not much really at all. For one night, it was a great experience.

It was a clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were pleasant. The infinity pool is small but was always able to get a bed.

On booking there was nothing clear to advise that when I got there the price I thought I had booked at went up by £65.00 due to local taxes, this was an unpleasant shock on arrival. Also all the menu prices for food and drink also dont have taxes added on so really not very transparent. Not sure about the 'cookie' on arrival either - what about people who are diabetic? could alternatives not be offered? Breakfast was poor really for the western traveller.

1.Location 100% 2.Staff friendly love their jobs. 3.parking car help and service..free. 4. Understanding and tolerance to our kids who are not always quite.. 5. Hot water on bathroom 6.air conditioner perfect 7. Our windows were opening to the street if slhamsmat sltunisiya Blvd. Aqaba atmosphere. 8. Comfort clean bedding. 9.kettle provided in each of the connected rooms. 10. Fridge provided in each of the connected room. 11. Iron and Iron table included inside the cupboard. 12.safe in each room.. 13. Hair dryer.. 14. Jordanians people in overall friendly and helpful.. welcoming and lovely. 15. Location is GREAT.

1.Dark furniture. Not always 100% clean because it is dark... and just sharp eye like us can see.. 2. Breakfast is not fresh and no various kinds of food . We stayed for three nights and three breakfasts of disappointment. No fresh bread. No delicious juice. Only one kind of cheese. Bad cookies. No cakes. yogurt is poor.. Cucumbers and tomato slices are not fresh. Still: there was a waitress to bring us cappuccino and espresso if we ask here.. not a machine on the bufet. And a chef who make us scrambled eggs if we ask.. very deliciius. Lovely service still. Although, again, buffet is down below expectation for hilton.. some times we choose to continue breakfast from out ...

Beautiful property, clean and very friendly staff. The only issue is it's location. In the times when some like centered hotels others prefer quiet ones. The hotel is in the center of Aqaba, walking distance to everything but the windows are not well designed to block the noises from the outside. Literally you can hear every voice that comes out from the street. Make sure to bring ear-plugs if you want to sleep before midnight!
