room was well-cleaned, the bathroom had no hairs lying around, the beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were a nice mix of soft and firm for us to go through and choose between our party. Ample outlet access for device charging, and appliances all functioned as they should.

The brown slip piece that sits over the end of the bed was dirty, not impressed at the sticky feeling of the piece and that it was still placed on the bed. Very sad that the hot tub is no longer available, (though happy to have the pool) the hot tub would have been the perfect wind down after a long day of appointments and shopping.

The woman working at the front desk the night we checked in was amazing. She was clearly doing the job of more than one person, yet managed to quickly help us with anything we needed. And the room was so quiet! I couldn't believe the place was packed with families and yet we didn't hear a peep from inside our room. It might have been the quietest stay I have ever had in a hotel this size.

We were a bit disappointed with the pool area, which could have been cleaner and better maintained. And there were no clean towels left. We needed linens for the sofa bed and there were hardly any left (none the appropriate size). I would recommend the hotel invest in some extra linens so that there are enough when the place is fully booked.

The location was great for what we were there for and the price was pretty good too. The convenience of a family restaurant right next door. The friendly staff that were always available for any questions.

The pool area could use some work the hot tub is completely shut down. Didn't remember seeing a down payment warning anywhere when booking so that was a surprise at check in. The rooms only get cleaned every other day so the room, which was a bit odd from out last trip pre-pandemic.

Staff very helpful, convenient location and connected to restaurant for a real breakfast

Pool and whirlpool a disappointment. Whirlpool was closed, water in the pool was cold, shower to be used before using the pool was freezing. Hotel in general needs a refresh, hall carpeting very worn, needs updating. Carpet near fridge in our room was damp. No screens on windows, they could be opened gor fresh air, but would let in insects. Road construction prevented opening windows anyway.

I liked having the patio exit in our room. Made loading and unloading the luggage from room to car and vice versa very convenient. My boys loved the pool, the pool hours were excellent. Professional and very friendly staff.

The noise late at night. The hallways and doors opening and closing. The pool was very slippery, my youngest son slipped and hit his head just walking from the pool. No continental breakfast included in the stay, and the beds were a little bit too small for 2 people to sleep in together.

The Perkins restaurant, which is part of the hotel, was great. Hotel patrons received an extra ten percent discount off of their food bill. The staff in the Hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and courteous! For patrons who like to swim there is a pool included in the hotel. The facility is within walking distance to the Sudbury hospital and Science North.

The program guide on the TV didn’t work. Our access key wouldn’t work on the rear entrance to the hotel.

Restaurant - excellent food, We knew motel is older so we were quite happy with room. It was clean, well loved:-) Bed firm with great pillows.

Just happened to be situated across hall from the ice machine so was a bit noisy past our bedtime. Normally not a problem but this time my husband was having surgery very early in the morning so wanted a good night's rest. As it is pet friendly we could smell that pets have stayed there. Next reno perhaps remove carpet and use tiles which would make clean up easier and reduce odours.

the staff member who checked us in was amazing & very helpful/understanding the room was very clean & the bed was very comfortable the restaurant has great food ...was hot when received & ver plentiful

although the restaurant food wasexceptional i found the waitresses to not be that friendly when we returned to have supper the one evening the waitress saw us coming & went into the back so she didnt have to seat or serve us i feel you should have mature, experienced waitresses

Overall it was a good stay, I stayed there with my son and fiancé. For what you pay for, it’s pretty good. The only downfall was the location is very central for noisy people but the noise stops at around 10:30pm so it’s not that big if a deal. Very central like mentioned, so pizza, grocery store and gas stations are everywhere which is a plus :). Swimming pool was an awesome addition for our son as well to play

I always enjoy dining at Perkins. The food, service, and staff are excellent. My room was clean and the beds were super confortable.

Hardly a complaint. I couldn't get anything on the television other than the weather channel but I didn't even ask the front desk or try very hard to figure it out. I was exhausted and the bed was very comfortable so I fell asleep early.
