The location is great.

The cost, and this is partially Booking.com's issue. The room was held at approximately 150.00 a night. I arrived to find there was no parking, you had to pay another 38.00 a day to valet. They only offered street parking, and there is none, or the valet. Also, there was a 92.00 tax charge each night. In all, instead of a budget of 300.00, the actual price for two nights is about 490.00. Booking.com should explain this, and should not list "parking" as part of the cost. Instead, mention "no parking except for valet."

The hotel was pretty nice. A few items such as the door latch was a bit worn with a fresh coat of paint slapped on it. Outside of that, the hotel was really nice and all of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

I really wish there was a pet relief area somewhere around the hotel. Currently, you have to walk your pet down the road to the crosswalk and walk them around the park across the street.

The staff were brilliant from start to finish, very welcoming, helpful and polite. Our room was a great size, with a wonderful view, with a very comfortable bed and nice toiletries. The location was perfect t for our needs, being very close to the airport but in a nice area with lots of local shops and restaurants.

The room itself didn’t feel particularly comfortable - the design was minimalist and “trendy”, so while the bed was very comfy to sleep on, I don’t think I would like to stay for more than a couple of nights.

The staff is one the best staff I've experienced. Even at 5 star hotels the service is not what it is at hotel june. They tend to out of their way for you. The managers are fantastic. Whomever is doing the hiring there is wonderful really down to earth. Alexandra london

Good deal for hotel

Loved the overall esthetic- visually appealing while maintaining functional use of space in rooms and common areas. Appreciated that security and the safety of guests seemed top of mind (required key card for elevator and only works for guests floor). Clean, quiet, comfortable and any needs/asks were easy to request through their texting service.

While I appreciate valet, and this was a much cheaper daily rate than hotels in the same area/quality, I did find the arrival a little off putting when initially getting to the hotel. The valet staff were very friendly for the most part and I believe when we initially arrived the attendant may have just been overwhelmed honestly. There was also one mix up with our ticket number and had another guest’s car brought out to us- a little frustrating and not the best experience for me or the owner of this other car.. It would be nice to have an option to park your own car at the rate charged for valet. The parking lot used is directly behind the hotel and would be easily accessed by guests and could be a better/more convenient option.

I really liked the location! The room was spacious, and really exceeded my expectations (I was really worried about that!). I got the Spacious King room. I would definitely recommend! Despite it being close to the airport the plane noise wasn't an issue at all. I will definitely come back again!

There was one employee at the desk when I asked about parking nearby that wasn't as helpful. Otherwise the rest of the staff was really nice and provided what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hote June. Never expected such a modern twist so close to the airport. The beds are crazy comfortable, we shared a suite with our kids and everyone had their own bathroom. The pool is a great addition to the experience.

The menu at the restaurant wasn’t very kids friendly and it was probably because of COVID, but it took hours to get your breakfast. We even gave up one morning and got out without eating it even being already payed for.

Diamond in the rough. Beautiful property and interior decor, vibe and staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe/restaurant and pool areas were nice as well as the gym. Kind of a weird location but we found some gems nearby and ended up using the property bicycles to cruise the boardwalk all the way to Santa Monica which was cool. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

It’s good because it knows what it is. A fun and comfy near-airport hotel with decent access to coast. the service was really good and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you have business in this area or need to wait for a flight more than 12 hrs. The pool and the bar are fun and efficient. Reminiscent of The Line in Korea Town and its working affordable formula. The gym was also better than most 5 star hotels.

the minibar was empty but unsure if this is still a COVID leftover.
