Firstly, the location was great! 10-minute walk to the Hamra shopping street! The American University of Beirut's Medical campus is next to the hotel so there will be quite a lot of students around the area. It's quite a lively area. Secondly, they have great room service where you just press a number on your room phone and tell the kitchen what you want to eat. They will bring it within 15 minutes to your room. Thirdly, the staff is very nice and help with everything. Any questions? Ask the staff! They are keen to help you out with anything.

Firstly, the wi-fi system. So this is how it works. The wifi is not technically 'unlimited' in a way. you will receive a piece of paper with a wifi log-in name and password. It is worth 1.5 GB of data and when it is finished, you go back downstairs to go ask for another piece of paper with a different log-in name and password which is worth 1.5 GB again. And you have to repeat it all the time. Quite irritating. Next, the beds were not the best for the price I paid (50 euros a night for a total of 4 nights in February 2023). Next to this, there are no sockets next to the bed. Only one socket which is under the television and you have to put your phone on the ground.

very close to the University, so the vibe is good and you wont run out of food options as they serve the student community till late nights. Very well Wifi connection in both rooms and common areas; it's a tiny bit inconvenient to get a new logon and password after 1.5GB usage each time. But bearable. Very minimal blackout periods (330am till 5am), so dont really feel any impact, if any. I like the double door design very much. so any noise from the hotel corridor would not be heard in the room.

No tables are flat in the room...so dont put heavy (and fragile) things (like camera) on them. Sockets are in short supply in the room as well (but interesting that they have plenty in the bathroom). and the locations of sockets are not near the bed. My room is on a floor above the street level, so there are some traffic noises till late nights. but bearable.

Location is great, 5 minute walk to Hamra street, 10 minute walk to Zaitouna bay. Easy access to taxis and ubers to take you anywhere else. Room was spacious and the room service team were friendly. Electricity is available 24/7 through generators whenever electricity is down and the ACs are powerful if you are staying in the summer.

Rooms are a bit rundown and the breakfast could use more variety but it was good value for money all in all

It's a very nice hotel - taking into consideration the overall situation in Beirut - electricity shutdowns, a lot of buildings are damaged, lack of international tourism and other factors, it was a pleasant and overwhelming experience! We were there for 11 nights and will remember it as one of the highlights of Lebanon trip! First of all: - reception are very helpful! you can reach them anytime 24/7, even by phone. Very quick replies on booking.com on any request! My personal special greetings to the long-haired employee - sadly forgot his name - he is extremely polite and respectful! - the room is very spacious - plenty of space, good kitchen and clean bed. - city electricity shortages are constantly compensated - only between 2 till 5 am at night you have just one lamp and wi-fi. All other time you get everything as normal. - very good location both to Hamra street and side streets, prestigious American University, and of course, beautiful long waterfront promenade!

- although the cleaning was on everyday basis, we had to ask for a piece of soap, bath gel and shampoo, as well as for toilet paper on a regular basis. But it is a very minor issue. - no breakfast because of corona restrictions. They have very good restaurant with a terrace. But it is also not an issue - we cooked on a good and well equipped kitchen as well as enjoyed Lebanese food from outside! - relatively expensive transfer from the airport. The local price is 5 times cheaper, but we did not know that and ordered for 25 doll upon arrival. I suggest that it is reasonable to lower the price - more visitors will use it.

location was right next to the AUB only 10 minutes walking distance to el hamra street and 14-20 mins walking distance to Zeituna bay and downtown. hotel rooms were clean and cozy. all of the staff were really friendly and decent , especially Mr. Ramy. One of our friends forgot something at the hotel after check out. we were already on our way to the airport, Mr. Ramy called to remind us and when we got back he asked the driver not to charge us extra money and that he will take care of this.

electricity goes out from 9-10:30 am and from 2:00-6:00 am although we didn’t feel any inconvenience as there’s always dim light in the room, also we could use wifi, phones and elevators during those periods.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its incredible location near the American University of Beirut. The surrounding area felt like a charming blend of the USA in the Middle East, with a beautiful touch of French culture, especially the architecture of the homes nearby. The atmosphere in the streets was vibrant and picturesque, adding to the overall experience. On top of that, the hotel staff were extremely welcoming and professional, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beirut!

Nothing.

The location of the hotel and the staff at the front desk were all incredibly accommodating and helpful.

I called the reception a number of times during my stay, stating that the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard (after it had been cleaned by the cleaner). Dirty dishes were left in the sink without being washed, clean towels were not left and at one stage we didn't even have toilet paper and had to call so the hotel could provide us with some. This was disappointing and I felt like the cleaners did the bare minimum in cleaning the room daily.

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and I was very happy that I choose this hotel. The staff at the reception was always very helpful. They let me check in earlier and I got the extra voucher for Wi-Fi. The breakfast was also awesome. The hotel is located in the centre, near the restaurants, shops and bars.

The hotel is oundergoing refubrishment im my floor so the corridor was a bit dirty during my stay but it was all compesated by the level of other services. The rooms towards the J, Kennedy street are a bit noisy because of the trafic.

The location is superb and the stuff is very friendly and try to accommodate our requests as much as they can. It is good value for money.

The furniture in the room was a bit old Also we were in the first floor and the balcony's sliding door didn't close correctly so we could hear everything on the street and it was a bit chillly

Excellent location in Beirut with friendly staff and everything you need. The only issue I had is not with the hotel, but the moment of my stay - Beirut was on alert due to difficult situation between Israel and Gaza and many facilities, places, objects and even services were unavailable due to this situation. The location of the place is in proximity of the famous Hamra district and the Rawcheh Rocks.
