The beachfront location on a quiet alley is ideal. The breakfast was fabulous. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's also great that they offer free parking.

We booked a superior double and expected to have a terrace as shown in the pictures on their listing; however, we didn't. Apparently, only some rooms of this category have a terrace or balcony, but then I don't see why the room is called 'superior' (by the way, it's on a floor with a shabby dirty carpet). Also the extra foldable bed for a child was extremely uncomfortable, literally impossible to sleep on: a very hard mattress with springs poking you (a mattress topper could improve things a little).

The perfect location is one of the main virtues of Žuvėdra situated in 3 to 5 minutes walking distance to the shore, 5 to 7 minutes to the Palanga's main street (Jonas Basanavičius st) with its numerous restaurants and attractions, and less than 5 minutes to the beautiful Birute Park. The place provides for a cozy, clean, and comfortable if simple yet unpretentious accommodation that fully suits our requirements. The check-in and check-out procedure was fast and easy. What we love the most were affable, friendly, and helpful members of the management team.

Honestly, we don't remember any noticeable issues, drawbacks, or shortcomings that may have marred our short 3-day stay, except for the bad weather, which, however, is somewhat beyond reasonable control of the hotel's staff.

Fantastic location and good size rooms with bathroom and terrace. Breakfast plentiful. There was an issue with a batroom sink-was sorted very quickly and effectively.

Room was not cleaned when we asked it to be.. Room was in desperate need of a little coffee/ serving table. More varied breakfast. Restaurant staff not trained and lacking customer service experience. A few minor improvements would benefit the overall experience.

Staff is really nice. Also decent breakfast. Place is one minute away from the beach so it’s really comfortable if you are with kids.

Shower was just disgusting,mold and limescale. Place really needs to be renovated. also in bedroom they putted plastic covers on the bed,so it was impossible to have good night rest

Property is 3 minute walk from the beach . If you eat at the restaurant outside you will hear the sea ! This is an older building but it is very very well maintained and has a little bit of a historical charm . Buffet style breakfast is very delicious.

I found a gummy candy under the bed and electric socket in the bathroom wasn’t working (was told it shouldn’t work), but it was okay. The room was facing car parkong side, but if you are not in the hotel apart sleeping - it shouldn’t be a big problem with noise.

In general, it is a good hotel. Staff - always smiling, polite and helpful. Location of the hotel is amazing! Restaurant surprised with really good food (although the meniu is pretty narrow).

Rooms are big, but needs renovation. We paid for three persons and yet still got to prepare the bed ourselves for the third person - i would like to get the full service here (to do not have to prepare beds at least in the hotel :) ). It is really too cold in the room! Now we stayed in November, but had the same problem in this hotel during our previous stay in May. So, to sum up - it is quite good hotel, but a little overpriced having in mind issues written above.

Perfect location for sea lovers. 5 min from the beach, Palanga bridge and main street with a variety of restaurants just 10 min away on foot.

The room needs updating, space planning was not comfortable enough. If you stay more than a few nights,I would suggest upgrading a room to super, where the balcony or terrace is available

Everything was perfect. Staff was super nice and always ready to help you. Comfy beds. The sea and beautiful park is just in front of the hotel. Very peaceful place also close to the city center.

Very welcoming staff, good restaurant, easily accessible and great location next to the sea but further from the noisy streets.

Some elements still resemble soviet era (e.g. internal doors). Strange mix of modern and old styles.
