Friendly staff, delicious food

Swimming pool and some of the wellness facilities were out of order

I didn't have big expectations, so I was very positively surprised, stuff was super friendly, we came with two dogs (not so many choices in hotels that accept pets in echternach), sauna and relaxing area was in price, rooms quite small but clean and equipped in everything you need, plus they prepared stuff for our dogs!

Only minus maybe that there was no tea in the room and bit expensive breakfast (but still really nice), nothing more to complain about!

Food in the restaurant is really excellent! Dinner is a real treat. The team work really hard to do a great job - they were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great location for hiking - you can join the E1 Trail at the front of the hotel and walk down the trail into Echternach.

The property really needs some investment but we really enjoyed our stay. It would be a shame for an old classic beautiful hotel like this to disappear - someone please invest ! Dogs are allowed to stay but then not allowed in the restaurant or breakfast room. You can eat out on the terrace with the dog in the afternoon and evening - the terrace is really lovely but that would be a problem in bad weather.

Great old style hotel with classic interior. Easy and free parking. Wonderful and cheap breakfast. We enjoyed the sauna and the steam bath after a long day of hiking. Great location, you can start route E1 (highly recommended hiking route) right from the hotel. Helpful and nice staff.

The place must have had better and glorious days in the past, now it’s all a little bit worn-out but still has its own charm.

Personel was very kind and really helpfull. They gave us good advice. It is a really cosy and clean hotel. even before our arrival, communication was really good! I recommand it for everyone. A perfect location to start the most beautifull part of Mullerthal trail route 2.

Breakfast was nice, but a bit expensive for what you got. It could have been a really nice garden, but maintenance was quite poor. Maybe it was because of the season?

The hotel is luxurious and very cozy. The rooms are spacious. Excellent restaurant, there is a sauna and hammam. Not far from the city. Free parking. Friendly staff. Nice nature around.

We have ordered the room with one bed and one sofa for sleeping but in our room was any sofa. But soon the stuff brought a bed for sleeping instead of sofa. The breakfast is expensive - 25 euro.

Comfortable and spotless room with comfortable bed. The staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. I appreciated the small treat waiting for my dog in the room. The breakfast was good, it was a pity that the terrasse of the restaurant was not open yet, despite the nice weather.

In the wellness center, I booked online a four-hands massage. Upon my arrival, I was informed that it is only for men and was offered a two-hands massage. While it was a decent one I discovered a bit later I was charged the price of a four-hand massage. Of course, this was disappointing,

The room was very clean. Nice welcome drink when arriving at the hotel. Good breakfast. Good restaurant in hotel.

The separate beds were too narrow. No water kettle available. The coke in the little fridge in the room was very expensive (4euros) and not sparkling anymore as it was out of date. The door of the room didn’t close properly so you could hear people talking in the hallway.

Bar options were there but could not be used . Bar tender had to navigate between bars hence delayed service Beautiful breakfast room but windows were dirty

We arrived late and the kitchen had already closed, however the bar staff put together a bread basket for the three of us. This was not expected, but very appreciated!

The hotel is a bit dated in it's decor, but still comfortable and worked for our needs.
