As you'd expect with Marriott, top class. Great room, with proper reading lights, superb view down over Penang from the 16th floor, both the pool and gym were very good too. Breakfast was extra but well worth it.

Located about 2.3km from the street art which is the dominant tourist attraction in Penang at the moment (with good reason, it's excellent). I quite liked the stroll in though (once you get used to the lack of pedestrian crossings!) You can also jump into a Grab and be driven there for about RM 10. So the location was fine for me but might not suit everyone

Our room was large with ample space and being on the high floor had a beautiful sea view too. The new clean look was very well maintained and the comfort level of the bed was more than expected. The staff at the reception, room service and breakfast were all pleasant, The vast variety of the breakfast was really good, although it was the same for the 3 days of our stay.

The sound proofing of the room needs some attention. Every time a door was closed somewhere in the corridor, it felt like our room door was being opened and banged close. Some sofas in the lobby would be a good addition to increase the comfort level of the guests.

The staff was very kind and helpful and we were made to feel welcome. The breakfast was nice and has both Asian and Western choices. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. We chose this hotel for its quiet surroundings (road noise, mosque) and were not disappointed, however there is construction going on across the street, so make sure to ask for a quiet room if this might bother you.

The air-conditioning even on low setting was still quite loud, and we switched it off just prior to sleeping. However this is nitpicking and would highly recommend this hotel for a city stay.

Our stay here was good. Everyone was very helpful. There was a scheduled power outage on the day of checkout. We were informed that the lifts will be working but unfortunately it wasn't. Called the front desk and their staff WALKED UP 23 Floors just to assist us. Kudos to the team. Then just as we were leaving my car had a flat tire and guest what the manager Mr Puvan,the security guard and someone from maintainance help to replace my tire. I'm so grateful to everyone who helped. Thank you so much guys.

I appreciate how exceptionally clean the room is, and the variety of pillows available allows guests to choose according to their personal preference. The location is excellent, situated in the heart of Georgetown. The staff also provided excellent service when we requested extra pillows.

The breakfast should be regularly replenished to ensure items are always available and not left empty. The lobby is a bit small, which may give a somewhat unimpressive first impression.

Overall our stay was comfortable. The property is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. A lot of eateries near the hotel. The famous Tau Sau Piah Ghee Hiang was next to the property and Ban Heang Tau Sau Piah was minutes away. The buffet breakfast was good too.

We had connecting rooms. The king bedroom was good, but twin bedroom needs maintenance as the standing lamp was just the pole without bulb and cover. The bathroom door needs some oil as it was too heavy to slide open/close.

Nice comfortable stay. For a family of 2adults and 2children the room was spacious enough. The front desk was very courteous and helpful. The room had a nice view of the bronze statue of Kek Long Si temple and the Penang hill. The plus for the location is that there is a 24 hour coin laundry in the same block (few steps away from the hotel) and a small but nice bakery for the morning breakfast. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the front desk lady who helped us to order for our dinner when we were getting late while on our way back from Cameron Highlands.

The housekeeping staff could have done a little better job by ensuring that the rooms get sweeped and mopped. However, overall it was nice and comfy stay.

My spouse & I were feeling unwell on arrival. But thankful that hotel able to grant early check in around 1 pm. Also appreciated that room assigned was spacious, located on high floor with full natural daylight. The corner room is also more peaceful than those along the corridor so manage to rest well for quick recovery.

Room temperature colder than my preference - seems to be auto-set around 20.50 degree C. No matter how I tried to adjust it to 23 Degree but it kept going back to its auto setting. This setting may be perfect during the hot weather but it was cold & rainy during the time we were there.

Everything about the hotel. The staff are all extremely friendly. Keep up the good work, Zurina and Ivan. The Penang Kitchen staff are all friendly and very humble. 1. The rooms are very clean. The showers are superb, and the pillows are so comfortable. 2. The breakfast is good, very tasty, and we look forward to it throughout our 3 nites stay. Kudos to the chefs! 3. We had our lunch and dinner at the hotel. The menu price from a la carte is reasonably cheap compared to other hotels. And again, the hotel serves excellent food! 3. We were surprised that our rooms were cleaned by housekeeping after we came back from breakfast. That was fast!!! 4. Ample parking space. Hope to be here again soon. Highly recommended.

The rooms were all non-smoking, everything was working - lights, air conditioned, shower, taps, toilet, doors. It has multiple electric sockets and the view was fantastic. Rooms are generally clean. Bed comfortable. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly and approachable. It’s in a great location (next to Ghee Hiang mansion) - walking distance to eateries, pharmacies and city centre and you can drive to all tourists attractions and eating places nearby. Security is good too with security guards stationed at the entrance of the parking lot as well as the lobby. Facilities are great. It has a pool long enough to do a few laps and deep enough too and a nice cosy bar on the highest floor. Parking is free if you’re driving.

When i first checked into my room, the toilet bowl was a little wet and has droplets of water around the seat. I requested for the bathroom to be cleaned, which they did. The bins in the room had stains as well. Would be great if they can clean it before the arrival of each guest. The parking is very poorly lit. If unfamiliar, you can easily miss the exit. I would urge the hotel management to keep the parking bright and safe.
