I like the area, near shop, parking available thou need to pay rm2. Away from the crowd. The is sunday market in the morning. Awesome breakfast, seriously. Friendly staffs, really helpful. The room is really large and clean. The price for a night is quite cheap. There a coin dobi for laundry. Well, you get what u paid.

The water is slow. I mean it, really really slow. Not satisfied during bath. The aircon takes time and need to share remote. The TV sound problematic. There is no kitchen tools. Theres no kiblat sign. And need to go to the main building then walk to the second building, you cant access the second building from the parking lot. My card cannot access the pool, so need someone to let us enter.

I give Rating 8 for this hotel first due to it's location, which is not busy and near to Kinta River front (start from late afternoon to nightime). Then availability of parking spaces in the basement ie 2 level. It shows Halal certification for it's restaurant. And finally it's wonderful breakfast. The spread was amazing, maybe personally I would say comparable to a 5 star hotel I had stayed in Shah Alam. For example, it's Kopi Kampung and Teh Masala (this was my best) were served in old kettles over a firewood (real fire!). I'm not surprised if people come to this hotel solely for its breakfast....during my stay it was New Year Eve and they opened up another section of the restaurant/ballroom to accommodate the large guests. For me it's good management and sensitivity on the plight of hotel guests.

Anyway, it's room facilities really brought down my rating on the hotel. Everything was old, especially the bathroom door. The only new fixture was the wood panel flooring. The pillows were too soft and small. The lights were too dim. There's a drain hole (beneath the washbasin) where it's cover wasn't closed properly, and as we know, the bathroom will be 'accessible ' to cockroaches and others.

The room are spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and special, it remind me mine childhood time in the kampung. Location is good and near to many tourist locations.

I ordered grab food but the staff said they cant send up so I ask the grab rider to leave it at the reception and I go down to collect. However, when I reach the reception there an Indian guy standing at the counter and told me that they don't help to send up, yesterday was just doing us a favor and he ask me to walk out to collect from the rider. The way he talk was bit rude and he can express in a more polite way and the rider was pity too, he was holding the food and waited for me almost 10min. I hope the management can look into this matter, if there no grab food allow pls inform or stated in the app earlier.

The room is just mediocre, with dull colours but! Breakfast was beyond our expectation. The spread of food, the presentation - superb! We enjoyed the breakfast more than the room and bed.

The room feels stuffy, we could see some moisture too in the wall, if this is not managed quickly mold might be a problem. The colours in the room are a bit dull too, for a hotel like this, it's quite disappointing to find the room unexciting to come into.

- Breakfast: excellent (so many traditional Malay and other foods), but they have other options like pau, cereals, etc. The ambient is also so nice. - Parking: Underground parking. Plenty of them. Only RM2 for 24 hours. Just tap your Touch and Go card, and bring the card to the receptionist for validation. Once done, you can go out and re-enter many times without charge. - They provided a few bananas in the room when we arrived. - Water pressure and temperature are excellent - Location is near to many restaurants, even by walking - There is a 7-11 shop downstairs. - Iron and iron board are provided in the room - Prayer mats (for muslim) are also provided.

Toilet door can perhaps be painted The carpet is a bit old, but still ok.

the location is strategic. can just walk to the river side. breakfast menu is also wonderful and have a lot of selections. we like the pool too!

the concierge didnt tell us that we can buy the breakfast coupon for kids right away on registration. end up need to buy at the cafe which cost us rm39 for 1 kid (we just need to pay rm24 if we buy right away during registration). the concierge also give us only one room key (which later my husband need to come down and ask for one more).

The hotel location is next to Kinta Riverwalk and bustling with restaurant during the evening. There is also a 7eleven. Parking is available in the hotel and is MYR2 per entry for hotel guests, but remember to validate at the reception counter. Sunday morning, there's a morning market right in front of the hotel but not sure if this is every Sunday. The hotel is situated not too far of everything so it is very convenient to stay. GrabRide was easy too. Remember to research about parking coupons or apps coz parking in public is chargeable from Mon to Saturday 8or 9am to 6pm. Hotel room itself has a bathub and i love how the shower n bathub is in an enclosed room. So we didnt get the bathroom floor wet. Love the bathroom!

The bathtub didn't retain water as well. That was a bummer coz i was looking forward to soaking after a long day of exploring.

Your staff at the main door didn't greet to those coming.I came at 4 pm,one of the staff who waiting at the main door never asked if we need need help as well as bring in customer's luggage inside the lobby.because I'm Muslim supposed said "Assalamualaikum".no smile,no greeting like Welcome to our Hotel.dont scold them but plz gives more training.

The room is spacious and bath with a bathtub (deluxe room with river view) make my children happy when stay there. The hotel also have a swimming pool and gym. A lot of choices when breakfast including Malaysian and Western cuisine. Indoor and outdoor hall for breakfast are very nice with local decoration and feeling. Location? This hotel I really recommend to other travellers because after tired walk around Ipoh in the daytime, the night should be the time for relaxing at hotel. But you also can do some activities surrounding the hotel because the hotel really close to Kinta riverfront sidewalk which open at night with colourful lights.

That the restaurant at 4. floor had a 'for smokers' section, 3 tables, lots of nice plants, lot of fresh air. That saved my 86 year old, pipesmoking husband from feeling like a criminal, having to stand somewhere outside. Thank you, Kina Riverfront!!! And the river view from our room, able to see big monitor lizards and birds, loved it!

Not much, a bit confusing at breakfast, eggs in one room, toast and bread in another.
