The room was so so so nice! The whole place was spotless and clean, so nicely decorated and so spacious ! The toilet roll was soft ! After 3 months of travel this has 100% been the comfiest bed yet, could even be the comfiest bed I've ever stayed on in my life 😅😅 The aircon was cool and quiet ! A tv that actually works !! We've not had a single tv that works when you switch it on , anywhere we stayed in Asia ! The facilities are high tech, touch light switches and light up mirrors Very very easy check in too, host has been great on WhatsApp Plenty of Shops and cafes surrounding the location, so good location and a daily food market outside Did I mention the bed was comfy? Really good value for money , thank you

DEFINITELY book this place. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, and feel quite luxurious for the reasonable price! The rain shower was awesome and the complimentary toiletries were of nice quality too. The bed was by far the most comfortable I have had in Borneo. If you've just come from a stint in the jungle, this is the kind of place that feels like a real treat. The neighbourhood is quite quiet at night which is great. It's a maximum 25 minute walk to basically everything, and there are some great restaurants and street markets nearby. Although they don't have a front desk the owners can be quickly reached via WhatsApp and are responsive, helpful, and just lovely people. I'd highly recommend giving them your business!

Lovely apartment for a short stay. Clean, comfortable, great facilities, lovely bathroom and the owners were on call whenever you needed them regarding anything whatsoever, really helpful.

If I'm being really picky, I had to knock at the apartment next door and ask for them to turn their TV down as it was playing full blast at 11pm and we were up early for a flight the next day. But this is obviously nothing on the property itself, or the owners. Will certainly stay here again if venture back to the area.

Comfortable bed. The room looks clean and tidy. Heater functioning well with toiletries available. The lightings are just right and suitable to work and will not hurt the eyes if staring the computer too long.

Every times when we want to go back to the rooms, we will need to climb stairs. The stairs is also used by outsiders (with unfriendly gazes), either smoking and sitting in the middle of staircases blocking the way.

The apartment had probably the most luxurious and techy amenities from all of our Malaysian stays. It's stylish and you get everything you need (even fully charged power bank and cool room on your arrival). 👍 The service is the most attentive, always on WhatsApp and asking for feedback and/or our requests. 🤩

The building itself looks quite sketchy. There's probably nothing the apartment can do about that and it didn't bother us but someone may be sensitive to it. Just expect the exact opposite of what the rooms look like. 🤔 What I'd improve would be for the bed sheets to be replaced more frequently (as that the owner should decommission them more often). Although cleaned, we saw many black spots and stains, as well as dried blood. It took away otherwise perfect feeling from the room. We notified the staff and in less than 3 minutes they came to offer changing our sheets. Also, they don't iron sheets so another minus point when it comes to overall luxury of the stay. 😕

I enjoyed my stay at ACJ residence. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable, shower was nice, great location. Great customer service, they would frequently message to make sure everything was okay and to give recommendations (without asking). Was a pleasant stay

The rooms are very well kept and clean the facilities provided was very good Walking distance to lot of places including restaurants shopping malls jetty ATMs money exchanges and gaya Street market. About a 15 minute drive from the airport

Hotel being on the third floor was a bit annoying but the hotel offered to help me with my bags during check in even though it was late at night

The communication from these guys was second to none. All the information we needed to find the location and check in was provided and also things to do. It’s a bit of a hidden gem as when went into the room we were pleased with the cleanliness and quality. It exceeded our expectations and initial impression on arrival. It’s a nice walking distance (10-15mins) to Galah street market (Fri/Sat) which is a must. We checked in at 7.30pm and out at 4.15am next morning for a flight so not much more I can in other than it was perfect and we are very grateful for the advice and information all night. Even checking we were up at 4.00am and whether we had an problems getting a Grab taxi 10 out of 10

Yes, pretty's on the inside. That would be my best description to describe this property. It looks normal on the outside but you'll be fascinated more once you get in your room. I almost cancelled my booking when i saw the outerior but thankfully i didnt. You even will have to climb up around 3 levels before you reach your room, but i believe this is not a problem for someone who takes care of their health hehe. The building might not seem classy but hey, don't judge the book by its cover okay? I promise it'll reach your expectations. The interior is so classy and i would say it's on the same level of a high class hotel. All the facilities are in good condition. My room was super clean and comfortable. The location is also strategic as you can easily find restaurants and groceries nearby. The customer service is also great. Text them now and they'll reply in the next minute. They guided me even before i arrived to the hotel, sharing their exact location so it was easy to find. They're also always available for help during my stay. Comfortable place, strategic location, and helpful staff. What else do you wish for? They have everything.

Hotel doesn’t quite have a usual front desk, but this isn’t an issue at all… we were easily able to check in and very quickly be settled into our room even arriving 2:00 AM in dead of night after our flight. The room is superbly cleaned and very comfortable. Hotel staff are very reachable, responsive, and accommodating every need. About 3x the normal tea and coffee for use in the room (which I liked). Though we didn’t need it I was also happy to have the option for parking and baggage storage.
