The Gardens is a little older now, but is still very comfortable and has a good price. The location is superb, with the lobby connecting directly into Midvalley. The staff are very helpful, helping with doors, luggage etc every time you go out and come back, and house keeping is very responsive to requests. Will stay again next time.

There are some very minor maintenance issues that should be addressed, though I note they do not drastically impact the stay. Door hinges a little loose, some notable cracking and flaking the the bathroom plaster, tiles need to be regrouted as some has fallen out and will lead to moisture problems in the future.

The location of the hotel is a plus. Nestled between two malls, (one common, the other an upscale mall) gives me access to a wide variety of shopping, dining and other interests. Getting to any part of KL was easy as well, especially with the use of transport apps such as Grab. The hotel room itself was good, with a large king size bed that was comfortable. Room service was great as well with large portions.

It was unfortunate that the kiddie pool was being renovated during my stay. Toiletries would be better if it was not in tiny bottles, as a family of 3 was more than enought to use up a bottle by the second person showering.

Its location and easy access to shopping and rail transport.

We spent 2 weeks in KL aside from a three day trip to Georgetown before returning to KL and The Gardens. We have previously rated the hotel highly and those impressions still stand. The only comment I would make now is that for some reason, this time around, staff seemed less cheery, giving an impression that they weren’t happy. Some were friendly with a ready smile - most weren’t. We have noted this outside of The Gardens Hotel as well, so perhaps it’s a Malaysian thing where smiles are rare.

location is excellent as part of MegaMall, not far from LRT and central. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Did not use any facilities. They were very quick to change the in-room safe that was not working. Room amenities replenished and checked.

I had 2 separate reservations with my stay, at the end of the first reservation I checked with reception on the way back to my room if my next reservation continues in the same room and if my room keycard would work. Receptionist said all is fine and yes it would work. Went to my room and the key did not work. Called the operator on the phone from the lift landing and was informed to go back down to reception to get a new keycard. Being a hotelier, they should have apologized and said that a team member will be with me shortly with a new set of keys. After my suggestion, they did send someone up and all was fine.

Location, location, location! This must be our 10th or 11th stay at The Gardens Hotel and the location is one of the primary reasons why we keep coming back. Easy access to Mid Valley Mega Mall and The Gardens Mall because both malls and the hotel are practically under one roof! Lots of eating places for breakfast right up till supper; movies and other forms of entertainment; shopping from low-end to high-end; and lots more!

Lack of hangers in the cupboard, there were only 2 in our room... seriously? There used to be more hangers when we had stayed at this hotel previously! Room furnishings showing signs of wear and tear... perhaps it's time for a refurbishment of the hotel rooms one floor at a time...

The location just outside of KL downtown was excellent for moving about. This makes the hotel location very central for moving about easily. Moreover the surrounding Gardens Mall and the Mid Valley Mall makes for great shopping experiences. I have liked moving about the surrounding venues. The food had been great too.

I think the service level is somewhat lesser than expected. My room was made up only at about 3.30pm. I had wished it was made up much earlier. The front desk seemed to be understaffed too. However, I understand due to current COVID circumstances, there is a need for some more time to regain service levels. I hope that would not take too long though.

Very convenient location to nearby mall with lots of F&B & shopping.

A little difficult to reach the front desk. The tv didn't respond to the remote control and I took a while to reach someone to come. First one came with a new remote but still couldn't work. He called another guy from maintenance and he solved it promptly. I would have liked better coffee sachet than the basic Nescafe Classic given in the room. The kettle also was not clean ie with lime scales at the bottom.

Hotel is connected to the shopping mall, it is very convenient to my family, especially we have the elderly in this trip. My aunt and mom can shop and eat at the mall conveniently. Toilet and shower room is divide into two and very spacious. We didnt eat their breakfast as we are too busy to fill our stomach with local food.

I didnt like the traffic jam and road in front of Mid Valley, we try to avoid peak hour when go back hotel and depart early to the airport.

The Executive Premier Double room we had booked was large and bright. The bed was comfortable, and there were adequate facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had to change rooms as the air-con on the floor was not working, and the room was very noisy due to the large air-vents from the building opposite. We had booked an Executive Premier Double room, and it didn't feel like it.

The location is amazing - right in the middle of one of Malaysia's best shopping malls. The room is so spacious and fittings are so beautiful. The view of the city was lovely too. Just an amazing place to stay and so central and convenient. Room was also really clean.

The room was pretty much perfect except for the shower and bathtub fittings that were a little moldy and rusted. I didn't want to get into the bathtub when I saw that. It was all really clean but perhaps a bit of refurbishment needs to be done.
