✅Love the ambience of the hotel. ✅ Room was really spacious. ✅ Bed was very comfortable and pillows were fluffy enough. Had a really good sleep after a good day of shopping and feasting in KL. ✅ Toilet was huge and the bathtub was da bomb. Good for 2 pax in the tub. Got soaked while watching TV… ✅ Breakfast spread was fantastic! Managed to make do without having lunch throughout our stay.

❎ Location. Pasar Seni station that is connected to many parts of KL was 15mins walk away. Thankfully, it was easy to get “Grab” to and from hotel to our destination. ❎ Shops / convenient stores were also not anywhere nearby. ❎No complimentary parking. Would be great if hotel provided complimentary parking for guests.

I liked everything about this hotel, the staff, the breakfast spread, the big room, the service. Everything was top notch. We even got complimentary early check in. We got the junior suite, it was huge. Great comfy beds and pillows, working air-conditioning and water heater, big bath tub. We also requested for extra blankets. The breakfast spread was massive, you get a bit of english breakfast, malay, chinese and japanese. A spread of freshly squeezed juice and a barista to prepare freshly brewed coffee. You get waffles and french toast, muesli and yogurt, cereals and cheese. Friendly waiters as well. The staff was also well uniformed, always greeting you with a smile. Great stay, would definitely come again next time.

Parking fees were a bit steep. Paying for the room but not been given complimentary parking is a bit contradictory. Ended up spending rm30 just to sleep in a room that I paid for.

We liked everything - the room, in fact our room was upgraded to Colonial suite and we were so delighted. The service was excellent. Food was of magnificent quality. We enjoyed the high tea and special Christmas eve dinner course as the waiters gave such good service particularly Awal and Hasan. We loved the christmas decorations especially the train. The entire hotel was well kept and the environment was clean and beautiful. It was a speechless experience. Thank you from the bottom of our heart. We also brought our plushies/soft toys who belong to the international plushies society and Asia Pacific plushies society group and we captured beautiful pics of theirs in various spots of the hotel. This made our experience even more beautiful, as plushies and their owners around the world have seen our pictures. 🥰🥰 It's a magical or rather majestic experience for them too! 😁

I loved that this is a historical building in a nice location. The colonial style felt authentic. Beautiful rooms, well maintained. Nice music in all areas of the hotel and great cocktails at the bar. Staff very polite and courteous.

Needs more staff at the Orchid tea room as guest were waiting for long to be served. Also for a 5 star hotel wait staff should be trained to explain each pastry or sandwich selection to the guests. The singing group should be restored to its original 6 piece band. The hotel reduced staff due to Covid and is not restoring the staffing to what is needed to run and service a 5 star hotel.

The room & hotel design/concept

Breakfast spread was meh. 4/10 food not many choices, pastry is hard like rock. Other than that nothing impressive. some Staff also looking at us like we dont have money or in other words not suitable to stay there.

Location of the hotel was excellent. It was very close to klcc and many tourist spots. Lovely for an evening walk out to the city. The room was great. Staff very nice and helpful. They were nice enough to give me an early check in since I had an early morning flight.

There weren't great options for a vegetarian in breakfast. There could have been more fruits and salads atleast.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional. The afternoon tea was great value for money and well staffed. The breakfast is extremely comprehensive with Eastern and western styles and gluten free options if you ask for them. The bed and bedding is of very high quality and the rooms are noise free. Great location away from the hustle and bustle and if you want to visit the botanical gardens. A nice relaxed atmosphere with some great views of the old architecture in the city. 100% would stay there again

Quite a large hotel and considering the quality of the staff we thought we would have been shown round which would have been handy to figure out where things were and how to get to places.

We found the hotel, although large, had a nostalgic charm and colonial elegance, which was enhanced by live music in the Colonial Cafe. The range of options at breakfast was excellent and the staff were professional and attentive. Our room was comfortable and clean, but starting to show 'wear and tear'. Didn't really bother us, our own home needs some updating!

If we return to KL will probably try a hotel located more centrally next to the Petronas Towers, which is the location of most of the night life - restaurants and shopping etc. The wi-fi was not always reliable - kept dropping out. This did not bother us as we were on holiday. But it would have been different if I was on business and meeting online.

The Historic Majestic Hotel was old style grand, comfortable and well appointed. We stayed in the older colonial sector and chose the hotel specifically for its history.

The hotel dining room served buffet dinner which was not suitable if guests only wanted something quick and small. The only option was the Colonial dining room with a limited and expensive menu. The location of the hotel is isolated with very busy main roads surrounding it therefore nowhere to walk close by for casual meals, sightseeing or shopping. Due to its location guests must use taxis to get to places.

We loved everything about this hotel. We arrived quite late in a taxi to be greeted at the entranceway with a cheerful ‘Welcome to The Majestic!’. The lobby is gorgeous - all mirrors and marble. We received an unexpected free upgrade to a junior suite, which has to be one of the nicest rooms I’ve stayed in. Great big bathtub and a sink each. Huge comfortable bed - best night’s sleep ever! We loved the hotel so much we cut our second day short so we could go back and spend time in it! People were having Tiffin in the Colonial Cafe which looked delicious, but we opted to relax by the pool and hold out for an evening meal instead. We both had the Colonial Sampler menu which was gorgeous. I asked for a Moscow Mule - perfection! Breakfast was amazing too - such a wide variety of choice. Mention had to be made of the staff. They were exceptional and couldn’t do enough for you as guests. We felt like royalty!
