Ms Sally and the team at the front desk are very helpful and staff will greet the guests upon walking pass. The bed is comfy, and pillow is soft and clean and you could request different types of pillow for the stay, a menu of at least 5 types of pillow are available. Water pressure in the shower is strong and bathroom is clean. We booked 2 rooms and we have a very nice stay. Parking is complimentary and the system uses car plate recognition that's totally hassle free.

The font desk service was not meet my expectation. When checked in time, the font desk personnel has asked me to fill in form for parking validation and my car can freely in and out after submission. Whereas when I exit the parking, my car was not validated. The parking is located at Level 5 and I have to park my car again and go to Ground floor to validate. Is really wasting my time.

its new, but not sound proof.. so u can hear ppl from room upstairs walking & jumping.. the room door closed to hard and it's disturbing when other room closed the door at night

they didn't validate the car park upon arrival.. so we have to go down and up.. the counter only hv 2 person.. que for check out take more than 20minute..

Booked this hotel because I have a Marriot gift voucher. The parking was bright and spacious with a guard station. Check-in was fast. Lobby was huge and decorated nicely. The room looks exactly like the picture published. Size and layout of room was very comfortable - I like how the toilet roll holder was designed to keep your phone (see pic) LOL! This hotel looks new and is clean for sure. Restaurant is nicely laid out but quiet, and food was unexpectedly delicious, especially the mee goreng! Location was quiet/peaceful with a short 5min drive to Jonker Street. Grab rides are easy to get so you avoid having to find parking. Staff were all impeccably friendly. Special mention to Daniell at front desk - I've had a technical problem with my Bonvoy account setup for years and many have failed to help me. He not only helped me get back access, he explained to me what was the issue (yeah, my fault!) so I know what I can do to fix this in future. Many thanks Daniell! Overall a delightful experience.

The Marriott gift voucher cannot be used because I booked thru Booking.com. It can only be used through direct booking on Marriot website.

Everything was great but the staff were exceptional. You can feel they're proud to be part of Marriott Bonvoy, from the security to the concierge, to the reception, to the breakfast wait staff. I do mean everyone. It is clear they're happy to be there and welcome guests.

It is a very minor gripe but the location is not the most central. They do provide free shuttle bus for guests to the main tourist areas so that's all good.

1. Overall, all is okay. The staff make the stay welcome and very attentive. 2. The room is spacious and clean. 3. Food is good for breakfast, room service and at the lounge for dinner. 4. Gym equipment is good and spacious

1. Breakfast sitting has to be improved. There was no one to show to the table, and the system showed that the table was taken. Although there is free sitting, it is preferable to have personnel guide you to your seat put something on the table to indicate that it has been taken. Many times, when we were given a table and went to fetch dinner, we returned to find the table occupied by another hotel guest. 2. The only issue is that it does not enable me to clock in when I book through Booking.com. 3. Not sure about the band for the lounge. 4. The pool should have a sign indicating that children of the suitable age can swim at the adult side. Even very small children are playing in the adult pool, and the adults are unable to swim laps.

The property is new and while I didn’t get a chance to use all facilities the lobby and all other common areas are very new and spacious While I didn’t upgrade I was fortunate enough to get a straits view room - it was really pleasant view from the room. Breakfast was really good variety and tasted good too! Really enjoyed time spent at breakfast and with friends.

The daily room cleaning was late, a couple of time they came late in the afternoon (after lunch) to our room and will not be able to clean properly because we are in the room. I would expect cleaning to be done in the morning. While I stayed for 3 nights 2 of the days it was not properly clean because the house keeping came after we returned from lunch.

Pretty new hotel and is very clean. Good location as it is only a 15-minute walk from Jonker Street.

Requested for birthday decoration but was informed that additional charges will be incurred. In the end, we agreed with the additional charges as we wanted a surprise for the birthday boy. As informed by the staff, the slice of cake and a swan decoration made using towels weren't prepared when the birthday boy went up the room. Also requested for a bucket of ice which was never delivered despite following up with the housekeeping ample times. Am rather disappointed with the service.

Our stay at Courtyard is as expected and enjoyable one. One of the newest and comfortable hotel in Malacca. One point of improvement is the checking in time. We only managed to check-in around 5pm as it needed second inspection to ensure the quality of the room. Not sure what it meant and needed to wait till 5pm! May be honesty needs improvement! We requested to check out late to 5pm due to late flight but was charged half-a-day. Why? Only works one way! Apart from that thumps up!

The breakfast room is bright and large. The breakfast spread is good, many variety of food and delicious. What is really exceptional are the staffs. From the manager, to the chef, to the waiters and waitresses, everyone of them are friendly, attentive, helpful and cheerful. Nothing is too much for them to help. Kudos to the management for training the staff well.

The room walls are too thin. Can hear what is going on next door. When chamber staff are cleaning the room, we can hear the cleaning going on.
