Clean, quiet, peaceful. It evokes the quaint colonial style of furnishing, something different from the usual modern hotels. The hotel staffs are friendly, helpful and accomodating. Parking is located behind the hotel, with side entrance connected. The place is situated close to a lot of tourist places/attractions.

Preferably more convinient items in room, like a make up mirror, or basic ironing equipment/ services. Shower head, faucets are a little worn/loose, will require maintainance

Room were clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Love this vintage hotel. Location is good. Near several eateries, especially for breakfast. My kids love it. The hotel's breakfast location isn't link to the hotel room building, one need to walk up the stairs to 2nd floor. Thus it is not so convenient for elderly with mobility issues, I have to book the library area (ground floor level) to allow my elderly parent to eat breakfast there.

The housekeeping staff need to be more thorough with their checks on room supplies, I was given a stained towel, my tissue box in the bathroom finished after 5 draws and my shower gel finished after 1 night stay with mt kids. I informed the check in counter staff and they quickly sent someone to top up the supplies while I was having breakfast with my family.

Our stay at The Majestic Malacca Hotel was an absolute delight. This beautifully restored colonial-style hotel is full of character and charm, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The breakfast served in the hotel's restaurant was superb, and the dining experience at dinner was equally impressive, with a great selection of dishes that matched the luxurious setting. The rooms were spacious and elegantly furnished, providing both comfort and luxury at great value. Located in the heart of old town Malacca, the hotel offers stunning views of the river and easy access to the city's historic sights. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests, adding a personal touch to our stay. If you're looking for a tranquil, character-filled getaway in Malacca, The Majestic is an excellent choice. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Historical. - Friendly and hospitable staff. - Service from checking in, bringing up to my room, serving the breakfast and housekeeping was all awesome. no compliant at all. - Love the table service of the breakfast. and the FOOD was great. Appetizing. -Location was awesome too. Facing melaka river, can have a stroll after meals. & eleven is walking distance, food stalls and hawkers are just around the corner.

if want to be picky, is just the pool. quite small. other than that. overall experience was great.

A real gem! It's a beautiful hotel and lovely rooms. While it sounds cliched, the hotel did have an 'old world' feel while having all modern essentials, and a very comfortable, tastefully furnished room. Breakfast was very nice, amenities in the room also good - e.g. coffee machine in the room, tea on arrival. Location was good - by the river, about 20 mins of very easy walking from the old town. This hotel is full of character and well run - I have stayed in a few hotels in Melaka/Malacca and it's significantly more enjoyable than similarly priced 4-5* famous chain hotels (Hilton, Mariott) etc.

Internet was fine, but could have been more stable and secure connection. Bigger blackout blinds or blackout curtains would have been nice - the buildings outside are very brightly lit at night

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring Melaka. The amenities were top-notch, especially the spa, which offered a range of relaxing treatments. The dining experience was equally impressive, with a variety of delicious local and international dishes that catered to all tastes. What stood out the most was the exceptional service. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. Their genuine hospitality made my stay even more special. I highly recommend The Majestic Melaka Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Melaka. I can’t wait to return!

Felt very welcomed by all stuff there. I stayed there for 5 nights. It was one of the most comfortable stay that I don’t have to worry anything. The hotel is antique and it’s taken care very well. The decor is elegant and has a good sense of taste. Loved the all rooms. The receptionists were warm. The young lady pour the Chinese tea in the room that was lovely. Spa was also very nice. The therapist is very professional. The stuff at the restaurant remembered what I have in the morning that is sweet. Some parts of the building is old but it’s well maintained and cleaned so it wasn’t a issue for me.

Breakfast was scrumptious with plenty of choices from a menu. Service was fantastic and friendly and everyone we encountered served with smiles on their faces. The note and brownie by the GM in conjunction with our Silver Anniversary were nice touches, as were the red cloth on the doorway and folded swans.

Could be time for the mattress to be upgraded although our sleep weren't affected by it. TV channels were old and limited. Android TVs would be the way forward as most would be able to watch Netflix and YouTube streamed to it - perhaps an option when the hotel undergoes a refresh exercise.

The service here is excellent, the staff are well trained and always make you feel at home. We like it so much that we have stayed here repeatedly over many years. The standard is still very high. Breakfast is a great highlight, because it is a sit down ala carte buffet where you are served from a menu of both international and local food fare. Extremely dishes and a definite highlight for each stay. YTL resorts definitely rate among the highest standards of service we have ever experienced.

Rooms might need some updating. Bathroom is not convenient for twin sharing. i.e. non couples it is normally left open and when enclosed it is via slated timber sliding doors which have some gaps that allow viewing angles into the toilet if one tries peek in. Definitely not something non-couples would be comfortable with.

The name says it all: Small luxury hotel! The main building is a beautifully restored colonial home which houses the reception, dining, and sitting area, as well as the gorgeous bar. The room are in a newer building behind the main house. The rooms were beautifully furnished. And the bathroom - clawfoot bathtub, spacy shower, etc.! The attention to detail - tiles, colors, craftsmanship - was the dot on the i! The staff was friendly, very helpful and attentive - from the guy that opened the door to the general manager! The food, both for breakfast and dinner was fresh, flavorful and delicious! I highly recommend the cooking class - it started with a stroll across the local market and lots of explanations. Than followed a short break with the best coffee I have had: KOPI! The cooking station was set up next to the pool and a very patient chef walked me through on how to cook a wonderful chicken curry dish with fried eggplants. They took us to the dining room and we got to eat what I cooked.

Please offer the Kopi coffee in the hotel!
