first off the property must have been newly built or renovated because it's extremely nice. our flight was moved to the next day last minute and so we called the resort before booking. the hotel includes free airport transportation, so instead of waiting for their shuttle to get there they actually offered to just paid for our cab once we arrives. once we arrived we were greeted with a cool towel and tea. we were personally walked up to our room. everyone there was SO unbelievably kind. we mentioned our flight wasn't until 11 at night the next day and the guy at the front desk actually came back up to our room about 10 minutes later and said he called the owner and they wanted to offer us a complimentary extension and we could stay until 9pm. They'll never understand how kind that was and how much we appreciated it. there's a cute little lounge/coffee shop downstairs that offers your free breakfast in the morning. the coffee was delicious and the breakfast was MORE than sufficient. I had a cup of coffee frothed and they had a cute little heart on the froth, a plate of fruit, we were asked how we liked our eggs cooked and that plate came out with a ton of sides on it. both me and my husband were full! we tipped the waiter fairly and he almost fell over because of how thankful he was for a tip. they deserve every penny of it. the location is awesome! we walked 5 minutes to a gym called the hammer. it's right by the water where you can find a ton of great restaurants (some are even open 24 hours). we walked to the jetty by the water which offers pick up to go to crossroads for a day trip. when we returned, we enjoyed gelato in the hotel's lounge (10/10 recommend). the lounge in the lobby also had some sandwiches and salads etc for our use if you are hungry. we walked to a Thai place near by that was absolutely fantastic.

absolutely NOTHING. it's a fantastic and beautiful resort. there's nothing they wouldn't make happen for a guest.

It was good everything. Good room, good hotel, very clean, friendly stuff, excellent coffee in the bar.

Very, very noisy from 6 am because there is a building opposite the hotel and a road with hard traffic in down.

We liked how clean the hotel felt and the AC worked perfectly to escape the heat of the Maldives. The staff were so helpful and friendly and having the airport transfer arranged with the reception was amazing and took the stress of finding a taxi. The breakfast was a surprise! Freshly cooked eggs were yummy and their daily dishes were yummy! We also got room service and the food was tasty… the juices were a great refreshment and the chocolate ice cream was lovely!

Nothing… we just wished there was a swimming pool as the beach near the hotel was a little small and swimsuits are not allowed but that’s nothing wrong with the hotel just local rules

staff are professional and super friendly. met at the jetty with great smiles and greetings, an umbrella due to rain down pour, and lovely staff members. transfer vehicle was immaculate, and the meet and greet a great welcome at the jetty. very clean hotel and rooms. cafe at front of hotel. Breakfast has wide variety of food. quick and professional check in and check out.

Male is a very busy city with lots of traffic, so not easy for any hotel to have quiet rooms, all hotels would struggle with this. you just need to go with the flow of the city.

We had complimentary arrival transfer from and to the Velana International Airport to/from hotel. We left our luggage at the hotel after we checked out because we had a late flight and were able to explore Male and Hulhumale in peace. The location of the hotel is very good, just 2 minutes from the ferry and bus stop. The staff is nice and friendly. The room was clean.

The only one thing i didn't like was the noise. А new building is being built opposite the hotel and it is very noisy during the day. We were not in the room during the day, so everything was fine.

The staff were extremely attentive and ready to help at any moment! The airport transfer is very convenient and timing is very flexible!

There was a cockroach in our room but a staff member got rid of it very quickly and it did not hinder our stay. The walls are quite thin, so light sleepers might have an issue but the hotel provides ear plugs upon check in! Overall, these did not leave a negative impression of our stay.

Easy airport transport and good liaison with the resort we were staying at on Baa Atoll. Easy pickup and drop off to airport. Friendly and helpful staff members. Room was clean, adequate amenities, comfortable stay overall.

Edge of the room floor was all wet just below the window. Suspect the window has been left open for a while given it was raining heavily earlier than night. No biggie but caught me by surprise when I stepped in a puddle and found my luggage sitting in the puddle.

Everything about Marukab Plaza is excellent. I love thee breakfast. Solicitously prepared buffet. The staff are exceptionally hospitable. Mr. Nayan was a great guy. He will do everything to ensure that our staff was memorable. One of the best is the complimentary airport pick up and drop off. I did not pay a dime for such services despite I had 6 ices of heavy luggages. Marukab Plaza is simply 10/10. I will recommend this hotel anytime, any day in Maldives!

The breakfast buffet should have other varieties on different days. Meaning it should not be the same menu from Monday to Friday.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off services that made my travel seamless. The hotel's breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The hotel itself was clean and modern, with well-maintained facilities and a comfortable ambiance. They even left a thoughtful gift to celebrate our honeymoon.
