The staff were brilliant, Very friendly and helpful with everything. Very organised with our ongoing transfer service and porter service very efficient. The room was modern and clean. Very good service and prompt customer care with any questions I had before our visit. Did the job for our one night's stay.

I upgraded to the Samann Grand Suite as this was offered to us last minute on booking.com, however this was not a suite if anything I would regard the room as a small double room so I felt it was not worth the extra money. I had booked an executive suite anyway which Im guessing would have been the same kind of room so not worth the money spent in general.

The hotel is exactly like the pictures and conveniently located in the city center. The staff was very friendly and we had a lovely detail in our wedding anniversary. The hotel's restaurant is very good and have good prices. The room was small but very well decorated. Male is a crowded city, so I would say small, but ok. They organized our transfer to and from the hotel in a very accurate way without any issue. As we had to leave very early, they prepared a breakfast bag for us (really nice).

Just on the side of the hotel, it was the mosque, which started calling for prayer 10 or 15 min before 5.00 a.m., then again at 5.00 a.m. For us, it was not an enormous inconvenience because we had to wake up at 5.00 for the seaplane. But yes, you can clearly hear from inside the room.

This was our best stay at Maledives by far! Kind, helpful and competent staff (this was a true rarity during our trip) - they took care of everything. The staff also gave us directions to the nearby beach and also informed us that women can only swim fully clothed in Male thus sparing us from undesirable experiences. Also a great rooftop restaurant serving the tastiest food we had in Maledives. Awesome breakfast with a great variety of choices and also lots of vegetarian options. A comfy crib provided for our baby. Free of charge punctual airport transfer organised by the hotel. Close to the airport Jetty too so no need to take a cab from the airport to the hotel. A ferry from the airport is much more fun and also quicker - the hotel is 3-5 min on foot from the jetty.

The bed was quite small - 190x140 at max so if you're tallish (>180 cm) your feet will hang out of the bed. That said, the rooms are small like everywhere else in Male so fitting a bigger bed is simply impossible. Also the hotel is adjacent to two large mosques so the morning prayer at 5 am is really really loud. For us it was impossible to sleep through it. Perhaps it's not as loud in all rooms like it was in ours.

The whole hotel staff was great, very friendly, helpful, warm and kind. The hotel operations manager personally took care of us, and enabled us to spend our last day in Maldives with no issues to remember. The hotel is close to the airport, making it a good choice to stay if your arrival flight is late at night, or if your departure flight is early in the morning. It is also close to the centre as Male is a small city. Staying here was good for us to see the local culture and buy some souvenirs before leaving Maldives. Airport transfers to and from the hotel were also very smooth. The restaurant at the top of the hotel is the top ranking restaurant in Male according to Trip Advisor and really has amazing food with very reasonable prices. All tropical fresh juices were incredible as well.

This is not related with the hotel at all, but you should be aware that Male is a highly densely populated city with thousands of motorbikes on the streets. The hotel was extremely quiet, though.

Spent one night here on our way to the island resort. It is very modern, loved the touch light switches. And the shower is amazing, so nicely designed!! The staff is so so kind, thank you for that! Check in is really comfortable and nice, they come to you with all the papers and everything, while you cool down in the lobby area. The free transfer to and from the airport is just great, perfect timing. Rooms and all spaces might seem a bit narrow, but there is plenty of space. Really cute and comfortable, we slept very well, even with the 4:30 am prayer nearby. Seeing the area, I would say that it is also very well located, so for Malè this is a very good option.

Cappuccino for breakfast is extra charge - not a big issue, just be advised that it is not included. Regular coffee was very good! Found it a bit pricey compared to other big cities, but still it is aligned with all of Maldives.

My wife and I stayed at the Samann Grand for only one night prior to heading to our resort island. The hotel was extremely responsive to my inquires and arranged for a private transfer (they provide a hotel shuttle or a private transfer) to and from the airport. Upon arrival, our driver was waiting for us with a sign with our names and escorted us to the van. The next morning when the driver dropped us back off at the airport, he linked us up with our resort contact prior to departing. I addition, they coordinated with the resort hotel for our seaplane flight time on the morning of our departure. My wife and I were tired from the long flight, so we ate dinner at their restaurant on the 10th floor. The menu options were plentiful with various types of cuisine. The food was reasonably provided and delicious. We stayed in the Samann Suite. The room was well-appointed and had all of the lighting controls on a panel adjacent the bed which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the room was climate controlled. We had to depart the hotel at 7:00 AM for our seaplane flight. Breakfast didn’t begin until 7:00 AM but they opened up the restaurant 30 minutes early to accommodate us! Breakfast was a buffet and was awesome; I wish I could have ate more but we had to catch our flight.

We didn’t stay long so we didn’t get to explore the area.

We booked one night at this hotel because our flight arrived in the night and the transfer to the resort was the next morning. It was the best decission. The hotel is close to the airport and they offer free transfer. The staff is absolutely great. They are very organized, it was a fast check in. Very clean, very nice. We were in our honeymoon but did not say this prior to the hotel so Atif with Mani made us a very nice surprise. Atif handled us with all we needed for the staying. He is absolutely great

It was kind a light breakfast. There were small varieties, but I supposed this is because the hotel is pretty small

Staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel is very modern and our suite had a very nice shower (like a spa with stones). We even got a late check out unti the afternoon without any additional costs and we really appreciated it. There is also a restaurant on the top floors and it was really nice. The food is good, the waiters are very friendly and the view from the top is amazing. We would definitely pick this hotel again.

There was quite the noise from the room next door. Probably because our room had a connection door and the isolation was therefore not that great. Next time I would pay attention to that and not choose a room with a connection door.

The staff was very wonderful, very friendly and very helpful, the smile does not leave their faces and they make you feel comfortable as if you are at home. They picked us up at the airport. They took care of everything during our stay, until we moved to the next place of residence. They even contacted our next destination to coordinate transportation to the airport. The breakfast was very wonderful, delicious, and varied. The juices were very delicious. Also, the staff were always present and always ready to help. As for dinner, we tried dinner on the first day in one of the restaurants outside the hotel. On the second day, we decided to try it in the hotel, and to be honest, dinner was more than... Wonderful, it was very delicious and worth the experience, and the service from the staff was more than wonderful. Frankly, I regretted eating outside the hotel. Thank you for the good reception and the wonderful treatment. If we return again to Male, I will choose this hotel again. I advise you to try it.

the hotel is perfect for a stop by before heading to other resorts. they provide airport services which was excellent. hotel was cozy and location was near airport. staff was amazing, every staff was friendly and made sure you are happy during ur stay. Ashutosh was very responsive and made sure you were well taken care of, he was very professional and pleasant. he would follow up and asked for arrival details and departure info to make sure it is a smooth transfer. Atiff also was friendly and gave us a good goodbye. At the airport transfer ,vineesh was amazing, he made sure we were taken care the moment u step into the ground of the airport. Even assisted us with the immigration form for departure, talk about well taken care of . well done do all the staff at the hotel. worth mentioning this includes staff at bfast, assisting our luggage and even house keeping
