It was a really easy check in process and check out, the location was great for us as we could walk into St Julian’s or get the bus into Sliema & Valletta. Our room was spacious and always clean, they even kept us stocked up on water! The hotel was quiet too and the air-con worked, but was just a little bit loud to sleep with it on. The pool was absolutely lovely and plenty of space to get a chair and sit, so if your looking for a mixture of city break exploring and relaxing holiday this is it!

When we got there we did encounter a slightly rude member of staff who checked us in, but for the rest of the time we were there everyone else was lovely! We had thought we had booked breakfast but we didn’t have it included (which we found out when we got there), however not an issue as there were some great spots for breakfast near by.

Friendly and professional staff, great breakfast, quiet surroundings. Hotel is at the beginning of hop on-hop off bus stop, so very convenient. Super comfy beds, wifi works fine everywhere in the hotel, small indoor pool.

Unheated outside pool, so visiting during colder season is leaving you out of this option. The flush button at WC is too hard to press (impossible for small children). No children room or play area in the hotel, however there is an outdoor playground close to the hotel, in the park.

Private beach (put off slightly by the sting) Lovely bar staff and lovely cocktails Two balconies in room (great touch) Numerous restaurants to choose from (3 we tried) Housekeeping staff amazing!!!!!!!!

Open to the public. The lower pool gets very crowded & noisy, also no beach towels available on the first day as we were late to collect. Location very close to St Julian which can get very noisy and roudy (we are getting on a bit and would prefer a quieter location) St Julian does have a young clientele. Bathrooms could do with an update but toiletries lovely. Only had breakfast on the last day but English breakfast not great and cold.

we felt that the staff were excellent,full marks to them all. The room was well serviced and kept clean. we had a ‘ sea view room’ , it didn’t exactly have a sea view but did overlook the small bay. next to the hotel.

we thought that the room was a little bit dated and the bathroom is definitely in need of refurbishment. As an elderly couple, it was difficult to climb into the bathtub in order to have a shower which was not good anyway. A walk in shower with a decent shower would definitely updated the room to excellent.

The area around the pools are clean and lovely and so are the pools. The breakfast is a little bit disorganized especially if you sit outside. On my first day, I was given a table (only me) next to a noisy table of 10 people (I believe they were on a conference) so I didn't enjoy my breakfast and left as soon as I ate rather then enjoy a second cup of coffee. I was very graciously given a suite to compensation for the poor executive sea room and relaxed and started enjoying my holiday. I need to give a shout out to Marika at the executive lounge who took very good care of us. I did not get all the names but the concierge and assistants at the door were all very polite and helpful.

The room.balcony.pools a nd breakfast were excellent. We had room 126.a wrap around balcony.one side view was the sea and the other st georges bay . Brian the concierge was very helpful. Buzzers on the pool parasols for service was great. We ate at the broadside restaurant. Great location and fantastic views. Nice food. Little bit pricey but worth it as a little treat. The best bit was,as we were on b n b. Breakfast could be brought to your balcony at you designated time for 5 euros. We did this 3 times. Excellent. Hot and cold food.tea,coffee and juice. We really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends. A downside.. Bit of a long sloping upwards walk from st georges bay to the hotel It would be nothing to most people. Hope this was of use to anyone contemplating staying here.

No entertainment or live music

Everything you need all in one place - more than 3 outdoor pools, one I think dedicated to kids, right in front of the ocean, in case you prefer swimming in the ocean. Spa also has pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, the works. So many restaurants on site to choose from. Should you decide to leave the hotel, it's a 4 min walk to busy St Julians - mall, public beach, many restaurants and clubs. The room perhaps needs some renovating/ upgrading but large, spacious, comfortable, with balcony. My view from the balcony was over the car park, but still ocean facing. Staff at every touchpoint (reception, room service, outdoor bar, spa) were excellent - kind, helpful, willing. Wonderful all round.

Maybe the rooms could use some updates - decor + appliances, but really very spacious and comfortable, combination bath/shower. Iron + ironing board, gowns and tea / coffee supplies were much appreciated.

Very luxurious with great comfort in rooms, lobby and restaurants. Staff were welcoming, helpful and felt like visiting family instead of staying in a hotel - smiles everywhere and everyone so accommodating The concierge Charles and the staff at the executive lounge need special mention (Rachelle and the gentleman who was serving were amazing and exemplary in their service and interactions). Must also mention the staff who did the housekeeping were fantastic.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this property.

The room look old and the bathroom is not a 5 star hotel - you shower in the bathtub and the toiletries are in quite bad quality. Of the 3 outdoor pools only one were open for some of the days due to maintenance. the pools are NOT heated and very cold. We didn’t bring kids, but the water was too cold for children to play in. Indoor pool was heated though. The area is not interesting, unless you’re between 18-25 and visits nightclubs. We had a car, but busses also leave next to the hotel.

We loved our time at Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay - it was a great base for our 7 days in Malta. The breakfast buffet was great, with a lovely spa facility and sauna and our room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the water and resort.

It's near Paceville which is the nightlife spot - you can't hear the partying from the resort but something to be conscious of that walking into that part of town isn't the nicest and gets really busy at night. However, there are 11 restaurants in the resort so you have lots of options!
