-Economy single room is very small with no view, I highly recommend room with sea view if you can afford it -Very old elevator -Wifi in my room was very weak and disconnects all the time -Only 1 power socket in my room and it was used for hair dryer -Last day I found 3 dirty mugs with the clean ones in the breakfast area, Looks it been there for over a day, staff apologized about it *Overall I gave it 8 out of 10 and I might still go again for the price I paid

Superior Large room with balcony over looking the harbour with all the activities of pleasure boats and doing a lot of people watching. Top roof balcony. Reception staff and breakfeast staff were very polite and helpful. Room cleaned daily. Hot water all times in the shower. AC in room. Breckfast catered for hot and cold foods. Great position for ferries to Velletta and all Island boat and bus tours start point. Popular fish resturants outside the entrance and McDs close. Lively bars 500m up the road. Great place to base for a first visit to Malta due to the transport connections.

Traffic noise especially when a noisy motorbike went by. We were on 6 floor. This is not just this hotel but any hotel if it faces directly on to the coast/harbour road. Hot tub on roof no water due to heating failure. Safe unused as locked with no instructions. TV in room hard to work.(I should have asked).

As hotel is south-west facing, the balconies of sea view rooms get the sun from early afternoon until dusk. Sliema is a busy seaside town, its waterfront features a 6 km (3.8 mile) promenade. There are many bars, shops and places to eat within walking distance. It'll not be everyones ideal holiday destination, but as we live in a quiet Scottish village, we love the vibrancy of Sliema. We discovered the Sliema Marina Hotel in 2015 and have stayed there several times since, we enjoy watching boats, buses and people from our balcony. As hotel restaurant is on the eighth floor, the panoramic views at breakfast are stunning.

A very decent hotel for the category it actually is (meaning towards budget end of 3 stars, do not expect luxury here). The location is perfect (unless you want to stay in Valletta) - right next to the ferries and buses. Room (standard double) was quite well equipped, bed acceptably comfy (again, for the hotel category - a bit smallish, but still ok), bathroom fully functional and reasonably sized (some problems with the door and the direction it opens, but not to extent of becoming a nuisance). The breakfast was optional and we are not great fans of hotel breakfasts (often ignoring them even if already included), thus rather unusual that we chose to pay for them 3 days (from 7) that we stayed there - although quite limited selection, the breakfast is hearty and good value, can keep you going for a half day or so.

Not really a bargain even with early booking, although still was one of the best price/value deals available for the places with easy access to Valletta. The breakfast is served only until 9:30 (for days with "normal schedules" much too early).

We have stayed here numerous times. Staff: fantastic. Location: fantastic. Breakfast: lovely. The have a Greek restaurant attached to the hotel and if you're staying at the hotel you get a 15% discount off your bill. Superior room booked. Nice and spacious BUT bathrooms let rooms down for price paid.

The bathroom. Shower head you have to hold or when on the hook just sprays back wall. You cant adjust it. Shower curtain which is useless. Shower tray fills with water. Cracked tiles. Not good for the money we paid

The stuff was really nice and the view from the balcony (in the second room) was really dreamy. The breakfast had quite a few options, fruits as well.

The sheets and the amenities in general seemed a bit old. The first night we were lodged in a room without view that was extremely small (apparently due to a mistake), but the staff was quick to find a solution and to move us into the type of room that we reserved.

The hotel was great! We had a standard seaview room. Our stay was one week long. The view was great. The bed and the pillows were SO comfortable! I had wonderful sleep. Where are the pillows from? I need one! <3 The room was pretty, renovated and very big. There was a kettle, cups, mini fridge, mirror, air conditioning, safe, desk and airmchair to sit. All the staff was great: receptonists, waiters, cleaning staff, all with smiles and greetings. The room was cleaned every day and the towels and soap were changed every day as well. The panoramic view from the dining room was wonderful, both on the bay and Valetta. There are two good and cheap restuarants on the groundfloor. There are also many other restuarants and shops in the neighbourhood. Right in front of the hotel there are a lot of cruise ships, few steps to the right there is a cheap ferry to Valetta or a bus stop (to Valetta or to the airport). The weather was great and the water was very warm in the middle of October. We could check-in during the night and on the last day we could store our luggage and Mr. receptionist was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you for your hospitality. We recommend the hotel! Tip: our room was 508 - renovated, double bed, middle floor, the balony was facing the bay, which we liked, if you prefer a view on Valetta then choose a room with last digit 5.

What was a little uncomfortable: noise from the street, my mum had troubles sleeping. For me it wasn't any problem. The old lifts were scary, I used the stairs, it was tiring, but I treated it as workout. The breakfests weren't tasty to me, but my mum liked them.

we have been staying at this hotel for years, but it has changed, and has new owners. The view is lovely, the setting is perfect.

we didn’t like the way we were put into a small double room with no view of Valletta, and when I said this is not the room we asked for, he said yes it was. Eventually we were put in a bigger room with two beds, and half a view of Valletta, and we settled into it ok. The staff only spoke if you spoke first, we used to have a chat with them, and they were always pleased to see us. The price is much more now. The room had only a rack to put all our clothes etc on, so we half lived out of the suitcase.

The location is excellent, you're in the thick of it at the Marina in Sliema, just across the road from the ferry to Valletta and loads of shopping, restaurants and cafes near by. View from the breakfast room was really lovely. You got a 15% discount in the restaurant downstairs as residents of the hotel and it was a lovely dining experience. Staff very courteous

Pillows are very thin, WiFi was not that strong. Toiletries did not include conditioner. Shower water was cold. In fairness to them I did not report any of this so they may have been able to fix the pillow/cold water issue if I had - We weren't staying very long so I didn't bother.
