If you are reading this review and looking for a place to stay in Sliema - you are in the best place! Don't wait a moment and book without hesitation! The owners make you feel, in short, like at home 😊 communication, commitment, and time to drink coffee together - we felt like a long-awaited family. The cleanliness of the facility, the room, the roof terrace where you can sit on comfortable deckchairs or on the second terrace at the table - amazing! Quiet street - 5 minutes to public transport and the ship to Valetta, 2 minutes to one of the oldest bakeries in Malta, 7 minutes to Lidl - great! We are looking forward to our next trip - ONLY THIS PLACE - there is no doubt that in this facility many people care about the atmosphere, and this one will delight you from the moment you enter❤️❤️

It was really fantastic stay for us. The location is perfect, it's just 5 minutes walk to the Ferry that takes you to Valletta and even less for the bus stop. Many restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. The studio is quite modern and has everything you need: a table if you need to work or for dine, sofas and TV to enjoy a movie in the evening, bed and pillows are super comfortable, a big bathroom with a great shower. The room is very clean (there is a daily cleaning service) and bathrobe and slippers were provided for our stay. The service provided by Dave is superb, he is very communicative and helpful with anything you might need. We could feel that Dave took great care in every little thing to make our stay really comfy.

Perfect apartments. The service is a 10. Cleanliness is also a 10.The apartments look like you are in a hotel. From towels that are changed every day, to bathrobes, slippers, an iron, an ironing board, air conditioning, and a TV… I have no complaints. I highly recommend these wonderful people for your vacation in Malta. Thank you to the whole D Townhouse team for your kindness.

Couldn't have chosen a better accommodation - everything was excellent. Communication with Rod, even before our arrival was great and I felt that we're in good hands. Location is perfect, a 2-minute-walk to the harbour and the ferry to Valetta. Supermarket is a 4-minute-walk. The street itself is very quiet and only a short walk separates you from the atmosphere of Sliema. The accomodation itself was very tidy and clean. We asked for additional cleaning one day (because our room was untidy - our fault), and they did the perfect job (even brought additional coffee). When we arrived, a detailed note about Sliema and reccomendations was waiting for us in our room, as well as some welcome sweets and coffee (much appreciated :D). I would recommend this place to everyone and if we ever come to Malta again, we'll definitely stay in the same place.

Our host, Roderick was very friendly and responsive via Whatsapp, he welcomed us personally and he gave us a very useful document with important information about the area (public transport, where to eat, nearby shops etc.). We had a discount to Tony's bar which quickly became our favourite restaurant in Sliema: very tasty dishes, super big portions and the waiter is also very nice! :) Our room was very well located but still quiet, it was totally clean (and the cleaning stuff came every day, they were very friendly as well! :) ), the furniture was modern and stylish, the bed was very comfortable. The AC worked nicely when needed. The bathroom was also modern and spacious. The soundproofing between the rooms was excellent since there were no wall neighbours. We recommend it to everyone and would definitely return if we visit Malta again! :)

The only problem we had is that there were no mosquito net on the windows so sometimes there were mosquitos in the room. The street noises can be loud in the morning, but that didn't really bother us.

The room was spacious and well furnished and decorated. We loved the Maltese balcony with table and chairs provided. Bed and sofa were comfortable and having a tiny kithenette and a fridge was very useful. The air conditioning was excellent. Location in Sliema was superb, always easy to find parking for our rental car and a short walk to many local restaurants as well as the ferry over to Valletta. The manager Rod was super warm, helpful, and accommodating.

There were insufficient hooks in the bathroom to hang used towels (particularly for hand towels, it looks like there was once a hook there). Given that the bathroom doesn't have an extractor fan (and we didn't want to leave the window open) towels didn't dry well. I would recommend providing an folding airing rack that guests can use to dry their towels on.

The property has a great location, close to restaurants ferry buses laundromat chemist doctor and supermarkets. it was super comfortable, quite spacious for 2 people. We ate in for a few nights ordering Boltfood (like Uber Eats) as apartment was roomy enough with a dining table and chairs. There is some very handy written information provided ( including medical which we needed) and a very helpful owner/ manager who is there in the morning. Rooms cleaned daily. Buses to Valletta are just down the road - connecting to everywhere on malta. The ferry to Valletta is also there. We used the buses a lot but the Bolt and Uber services are quite cheap too.

Nothing! But it is uphill from the waterfront ( restaurants buses ferry etc) so difficult for mobility challenged people.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect, especially as we were traveling with our baby. Rob and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He even arranged for a baby cot to be set up in the apartment, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare baby food, which made our stay so much easier. The hotel is family-friendly. It’s stroller-accessible, with an elevator and wide doors, so getting around was hassle-free. The location is also great — just a short walk uphill from the center of Sliema, where you’ll find shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. What really sets this place apart is Rob’s attention to detail and care for his guests. He organized our taxi transfers to and from the airport and left a detailed note in the apartment with all the essential information and a guide to exploring Malta. He also provided adapters for electricity for free! His team was always friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re traveling with a baby or just looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay in Malta, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at the apartment that exceeded all our expectations. The accommodations were exceptional, with amenities and comfort reminiscent of high-end establishments. The owner and staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring all guests felt welcomed and cared for. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace, which offered partial views of Valletta, the capital of Malta. This combination of sophistication, service, and good views made for an unforgettable stay. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone seeking a top-notch experience in Malta.

I loved that it was close to the Ferry to Valletta. It's close to promenade with shops and restaurants buuuut away from the noise. i.e., it's in a residential area, so away from the hustle and bustle buuut 200m from the promenade, so easy access to food and transportation. The room came with a functional kitchen (microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge sink, etc). There were two adapters provided, and the ac was superb. Lol. There was an iron box and a sizeable TV. I loved coming back to the room in the evening. I also had a late check-in (12am) buuut, Rod left clear instructions on how to enter and where everything was. And his WhatsApp was on in case I had any questions. ( which I didn't since the instructions to enter and settle in were precise). As a jogger, having quick access to the promenade made life much easier. Long story short 😉, I loved my stay here.

Just a teeny-tiny issue--> The ground floor room was a bit dark in terms of natural lighting during the day. Just a bit. Nothing major. Plus, I was out during the day, so it was a nonissue. There's enough lighting at night with different settings. Hello, movie night. Lol
