Rooms are super clean although a bit outdated but it’s very easy to look past that if you have a room with a view like we did. High quality toiletries. Amazing breakfast buffet, everything is super fresh and tasty and you have several options to choose from. The pool is very pretty with a nice view and it’s heated so it’s perfect from swimming in the evening once it’s cooler out. Bar and restaurant on site are nice plus Starbucks is 24hrs. Trust worthy Taxis parked outside available from 5am to 11pm and they are not expensive. They have great tour recommendations. Staff was super friendly and helpful, rooms get cleaned daily.

the ONLY thing I could say I somewhat did not like is the location. there is nothing within walking distance, BUT, like I said taxis are available outside all day for your convenience.

The breakfast buffet is good, the beds are very comfy, the living room in my room, the air conditioning is top-notch, clean air, fast cooling, very nice. The toilet is silent.

The bathroom faucet was missing the aerator, the room coffee machine was not operating correctly, some cockroaches in the parking lot, I guess because of the heat. The guests who feel entitled are the ones who make for a bad experience, leaving dirty dishes next to the food instead of in the area for it, and making the cooks have a hard time. The pool is small and fills quickly with few people.

Staff was very friendly and prompt to respond to requests. Check in and out without delays. The facility was having their 8th anniversary. We stayed in the 3rd floor, room 319 or 320, can't remember exactly, facing the street, which wasn't an inconvenient at all. Very good breakfast: 3 different kinds of juices, yogourt, melons, mangoes, hot dishes, different breads, etc. Best time to get it was around 8 as it would get busier around 9 ish. The location at Punta Prieta is exceptional: you are out of the city and there isn't any traffic on your way to Balandra, Tecolote and the other beautiful beaches in the peninsula. The hotel offers beach towels, that must be returned at the end of the day. The facility is very clean but the only observation is about the pool, comment below.

The swimming pool needs a bit more attention throughout the day. Several patrons leave their dishes, napkins, plastic cups and with the occasional wind, some would land in the pool. I was surprised that there wasn't a place to wash your feet and beach objects at the entrance of the hotel or somewhere close to the parking lot. During the peak of the breakfast, on occasion there wouldn't be some dishes or cutlery available. Upon asking for help, someone would bring clean ones from the kitchen.

The problem I had was because the person in charge of cleaning did not want to change my towels daily, even on one occasion, I left the towels on the floor, she picked them up, and folded them so they could be reused, very bad.

The breakfast was good that was definitely one of the things that made me pick Hyatt Place and the staff was very friendly

The only three things I didn’t like were that that with the hotel being L-shaped I was on the short part of the L and the sun would come directly into my room so I had to shut the the one blind block out the sun all the way, And then I could only turn the air conditioning down to 20°C in my room and would’ve preferred 18 Lastly I didn’t realize how far out of town the hotel was and so I had to taxi because Uber‘s wouldn’t go out that far Oh and the other thing I picked the hotel because it had a gym the pictures didn’t really show what was in the gym but if there were a long bar so I could do that list if there was a benchpress I would’ve liked the gym a lot more

The staff was wonderful. very helpful in all ways possible. majority comprehend English

the sheets were very old and pilly I was surprised that a Hyatt wouldn’t have better bedding

all the staff were excellent! the rooms were nice and clean. pool was heated and well taken care of. breakfast was delicious and so convenient - available 7:00-10:00 every morning.

a clearly marked filtered water station in the lobby would be great!

the room is very spacious not sure the paying for the upgraded room was worth it since you can't see the view from the bed you have to sit at the edge of the bed to enjoy the view also we weren't offered our free drinks that came with the upgrade and forgot about them

Breakfast was terrible I would suggest offering less but increasing the quality the coffee was horrendous and the coffee machine in the room didn't work. I think overall the price is expensive for what you are getting

we really liked the facilities like the pool and the gym and the size and layout of the hotel room and the lobby

we weren’t a big fan of the upkeep of the room, there was mold in the shower, I found the bed too soft (the springs were quite stretched)

Great view. good sized room and excellent variety for breakfast.

parking area not covered, room windows not tinted so other hotel guests can see inside rooms when shades are open.
