I liked that the hotel was in front of one of the entrances of the Mercado de Artesanías. The hotel was very quiet and cute. It is very small. Breakfast wasn’t much, but it gets you through lunch.

I didn’t like the shower was very small and my shower didn’t work. It sprayed water everywhere but on me. They had to send somebody to fix it. The whole shower and bathroom got wet. Breakfast was on the second floor, but my sisters were able to have breakfast downstairs due to one of them had knee problems and the other one is blind. There isn’t an elevator in the hotel.

Good value for the cost. Location in the historical zone of the city is perfect. Quiet, yet only a few blocks to the central Jardin. The artisan market is across the street. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Staff were wonderful and attentive. Breakfast tasty (if limited to eggs).

It's a beautiful old building built of stone; therefore, the room was small, dark and stuffy. Only window was onto stairway where everyone walked by. The Bookings.com advertisement said that free airport transfers are included. This is NOT true... and should be corrected. The staff were surprised by the advertisement. It would be an unreasonable expectation, given the distance to serving airports.

The staff are very pleasant and welcoming and the location is ideal. The ladies made me a beautiful fruit platter and delicious coffee for breakfast. They also have eggs and sausage if you like. The deep soaker tub with hot water was fantastic. It warmed me on a very cold day. It is located a lovely couple blocks from El Jardin and right beside two indoor markets with lovely regional crafts, traditional breakfast and lunches, and souvenirs. I was very impressed with the catarinas. The price was reasonable for Mexico. The English/Spanish library is a block away.

Mostly I enjoyed my stay, however it was VERY cold when I arrived and it would have been nice to have had the heat turned on. I sought someone out at the desk after freezing for a few hours and he lit the old gas fireplace. I would also recommend new cotton sheets. They were very old with holes.

The location was incredible. 20 steps to the artisan market? NO way!!! The staff was kind and ready to help and solve any problem. Sra. Angelica prepared the best breakfasts in the morning. WE could walk anywhere and everywhere form the hotel and, in fact, we did not use another car until our departure day. We are thinking of returning to this hotel next year!!!!

Actually, there was nothing we didn't like. everything was great!!!!

Really great location, close to the artisans market and many restaurants. The room was small but very comfortable with a nice gas fireplace which was lit for us and gave a cosy warmth we needed during our rainy visit.

The continental breakfast was included. The fruit was nice but we were given just a small sliver of toast each, which gave us a poor impression..Perhaps it would be better to charge and provide eggs with additional rolls, that wouldn't make much more work and leave us satisfied.

The staff and the terrace

The breakfast that is included is tiny, you need to choose between coffee or tea, juice or fruit (fruit is a small portion like 5 thin slices of papaya and melon or any fruit) white bred, and jam. The Jam is amazing 👏

The staff and sweetness of this ‘lil hotel. Just so comfortable. I felt like every day I was in and out of my own home. Angie took care of all us every morning for breakfast and greetings and made us feel at home. All humor and grace 🙏 Oh and what a lovely terrace also!

Very well located, in the center and in front of the art market.

No car park, room was small and hot with no Windows to let air flow, nor air conditioning.

Breakfast was simple but adequate. This hotel is not luxurious but it was comfortable for me. My room was small but big enough to meet my needs. They cleaned the room daily and the staff were always pleasant. I enjoyed my time there.

Better shower Curtain to keep the water in...
