Location on the beachfront between airport & central district. Social center (Nitro) across the street for programs & “nightclub”. Nice grocery store about 5 minutes walk; WalMart 15 minutes by foot. Costco about 10 minutes by car. Varied activities calendar. Theme restaurants for evening dining; buffets for all meals, too. Some staff exceptional; others only interested in tips. Oscar @ reception appears intelligent & intuitive. Variety of rooms from older to more modern, ocean-front to facing tennis court. Events every evening. Fridge in room w/ drinks, refreshed on request. I enjoy using the kayaks supplied. Occasional nature lectures in the evening.

This was the first of the 5 times I have stayed here that I booked w/ Booking.com: the rest have been packages with airline vacation plans. Certainly the check-in was less cordial, and although my “Genius” status was acknowledged with an “upgrade” to ocean-facing, my booking had been for a king bed, but I got two double beds. This visit I found staff in dining area less attentive than other visits. The “all-inclusive” does not extend to tipping, and you’ll go through $5-$10 per day for waiters, bellmen, bartenders…

it was difficult to find lounge chairs without towels on them buffet food was ok seating in different areas was dirty/stained shower water didn’t drain properly reception didn’t tell us anything about what the property had to offer. We didn’t know about the rooftop pool until the day before we left. could use some shows should offer lessons in dancing, cooking, pottery etc.

The staff was great, very accommodating and friendly. The property is right on the beach and they keep it picked up. I know the property is a little older but I saw many improvements being worked on.

The hours for the specialty restaurants and even the bars is a little off. Occasionally it can be a bit of a hassle to get a reservation at one of the specialty restaurants unless you know in advance where you want to plan the meals for your stay. The bars all close by 11pm with very few options nearby unless you want to take a cab. I understand they don't want to disturb the other guests but most of the guests I spoke with thought 11 was a little on the early side.

Employees work really hard to make you feel comfortable and provide an excellent service property is very clean.

The food at the buffet was bad. No flavor or seasoning at all.

The food in the Paradise Club had more varieties and interesting.

The pool had become a mass of drinking, smoking loud obnoxious guests totally inconsiderate of other guests comfort level. The staff tried and requested but to no avail. The management needs to think how they enforce the rules when needed.

We love this resort. Staff is wonderful, friendly and attentive. We especially enjoyed the new Mexican restaurant. It was the best by far, but the Japanese and International were very good, as well.

We were disappointed in the upkeep around and in the pool area. This was our 4th visit and it was sad to see many extremely dirty loungers and chair side tables not being sprayed or wiped down, especially after Covid sterilization protocols were relaxed. Hotel is still requesting masks and the use of hand sanitizers, in restaurants, but pool area couldn't even be swept or hosed down. Club side with all the kids was immaculate. Many of the shade umbrellas were gone from pool and beach area, crreating "prime real estate" issues. Because we love this resort, we chalked it up to recovery from Covid losses and hopefully, it will improve by our next visit in March 2023

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The lobby is beautiful. Its a walkable area. The food was good. I would say that the restaurants don't give you big portions. Other than that it was great. Breakfast is the best. Get there early or there will be a line. Only because its not tons of seating. The snack bar by the pool is great. They have burgers hot dogs fries and nachos. There are so many bars where you can grab a drink. The staff is very helpful and nice. The beach is beautiful. There are tons of people trying to get you to wither book a excursion get a massage or purchase things. Which happens on every vacation. The gym is small but has a few good machines. There is also a huge tennis court and basketball court thats well maintained. The rooms are pretty big as well as the balcony. There are some newly renovated rooms. They are on the lower floors so you don't get a good view of the beach. They skybar was closed this week for some renovations. To open next week. So i did not get to experience that. Im sure its nice. For the price my friend and I paid. It was more than worth it. There is a bar code you scan to make dinner reservations at 9am in the morning which is cool. Get out early to get a cabana or beach chair because there was guest coming out at 6am to snag a good beach chair and cabana and leaving it there while they slept the rest of the morning just to hold a spot.

The property was clean and comfortable. The bed’s are extremely comfortable. My room did not have a fan but the front desk brought me one upon request.

No ceiling fans in ocean front rooms. It’s hard to enjoy your time on the beach because someone is constantly approaching you to sell goods. I mean CONSTANTLY! One after the other. One of the restaurants had no air conditioning and it was sweltering hot in there! The food was delicious but hard to enjoy!!

everything. very confortable. great to be adults only and to have also access to the other crown plaza with kids.

the only thing I can complain is the shower. iñthe water pressure was almost zero, apart from that. nothing else to complain about.
