Friendly staff. Great location, near Alameda and Fine Arts Museum/Theatre. Nice breakfast. In general, good value for money.

Evev though I made the reservation weeks in advance, the day before my arrival they sent a message: "We are full, pay via phone call before tomorrow at 4 pm or we will not hold your reservation". - Check-in time was advertised from 3-6 pm (which is still a very narrow window). - I tried several times until someone finally answered the phone. (they never answered through booking.com for clarification) - I had to pay via bank transfer. Luckily I was not traveling at that time and was able to do the transfer. Needless to say, I was not able to pay at the time I made the reservation... Reservation through booking.com was then useless, due to the archaic ways of the hotel management.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the Centro Historico and very close to Alameda Park, one of the largest in the city. But the price was incredibly low, in comparison with the nearby Reforma Hilton.

The batteries had not been replace in the television control device, but then I did not bother with the liquid screen television.

The hotel has an excellent location less than a block and a half from the Alameda Park. And at the Northeast end of the park there is a metro station which can take one to the zocalo/cathedral/ National Palace. Around the corner from the hotel, is a really good food place that serves pancakes after 8:00 a.m. and the most delicious chicken vegetable rice soup I have ever tasted, along with good entrees, for an extremely reasonable 89 pesos.

I asked for a quiet room, and got one facing the interior Courtyard, which I very much appreciated. On the other hand, the room was not bright and spiffy at all. The hotel breakfast is full and complete, but expensive at 220 pesos.

Beautiful room and very attentive and friendly staff

I was not eligible for the free airport shuttle because I did not request it when booking. I did not want a shuttle from the airport to the hotel because I did not want to have difficulty finding the driver in such a large airport. But I requested a shuttle for my return to the airport in the morning when I checked in. My request was denied because it was not requested in advance. I did not find this fair since it did not indicate online that the shuttle must be requested when booking. I explained this to the employee but she said it was policy.

Location is perfect. 9 min walking to Palacio de Bellas Artes, and 18 min walking to Zocalo (historical city center). The hotel is not new or modern, but it is clean and decent. Good price for the value. Plus, the breakfast is really good with many options.

The windows are not sound-proof. The bedrooms that are on the side of the street are very noisy at night and you cannot sleep very good. It would be good if they build an isolation for the windows.

The staff was very welcoming, efficient, and courteous. The room where I stayed was clean, cozy, spacious, well decorated. It comes with electric appliances, such as an iron table, dryer, standing fan, AC, landline, smart TV, room service, and a binder with all kinds of useful information. The bed was comfy, with clean bedding, and five pillows. The studio is well organized to get the job done, Wi-Fi on every floor. The bathroom was sanitized, with clean hand & body towels, and drinkable WATER was a fresh relief. In the hallway, you can find pictures of tourist attractions in Mexico City and a freezer to get some ice cubes for free, furniture outside the elevator & safety indications, a fire alarm linked to the Mexico Fire Department, emergency lights, and an emergency exit. They have a parking lot and security 24/7. Easily accessible to guests with special needs. For my breakfast, I went to the restaurant located at the mezzanine. I tried the menu, not to mention that they also have a buffet. The food was good, juice and fresh fruit, an order of bread toast with margarine and strawberry jam, the coffee not so good though. The waiter was friendly. The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting downtown CDMX main attractions on foot. There’s a subway station named Bellas Artes 7-minute walk from the hotel, tramways, bus lines, and cab services around the corner. Mall centers, artesanías, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and more TBDiscored.

The coffee, was too black for my taste.

I trully liked the thick walls in our room. There was zero noise and we could sleep exactly as much as we needed to. Also there was a drinking water right from the sink, which is very important for such hot climate.

The cleaners of the room, unfortunately, leave a lot of hairs whereever they go. Seen a big piece of hairs on our pillow one day. And the wi-fi on the levels was quite weak. Couldn't stay online for more than 15 minutes in a raw even after reset.
