The hotel is a very good value in a convenient location. The lobby has a nice seating area with fresh flowers everyday. Can wait inside for your uber or didi to arrive. Breakfast was my favorite. Authentic Mexican for an affordable price and nice outdoor terrace. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms were spartan and bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and printed tickets for me and got me a hair dryer because I forgot to pack one. Free water bottles given each day was a nice touch.

The doors and transom of louvered window above the doors do allow for noise to infiltrate your room from hallway. I suggest using fan and earplugs. Really just depends on courtesy of neighboring guests. Most nights were quiet but a few were loud. Also, room could be a tiny bit cleaner (some buildup on doorknob and shower floor was really slippery) but nothing crazy. Finally shower seems to work best in morning and day. One night there was not hot water so plan accordingly. Overall I think a great value for the money and would stay at hotel again.

The king bed was really good. The location is perfect. The common areas in the hotel are beautiful! They cleaned the room everyday, gave a bottle of water per day as well. The AC on the top floor was life saving. Reception is open 24/7!

The room they gave us was not like in the pictures. Was small and had a tiny window that didn't close very well, so there was a lot of noise from the street. We tried asking another room but the reception man said that it was the room we had booked... I think the room types should be more clear when booking!

One of the best locations out of the Historical district. You can walk to many tourist visiting places. also convenient to visits department stores, restaurants and prime shopping street in the city i stayed at a single room room with a minimum size but it was clean and effective for solo traveler. A very high ceiling in the room give you more comfort. Overall the facility was very good and fair to the price I paid (45 USD per night)

1 the safe (Caja fuerte, Caja de seguridad) in the room seemed to be out of order 2. the lights inside room is weak, because of its very high ceilings 3. upper part of the door of the guest rooms is “a fence” from which you can hear every single sounds and noises from the corridor, even from other rooms. this means your room has no soundproof effect at all. Do not make a fair in your room. the hotel could arrange the airport transportation with 230 peso or 13 USD

This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Mexico! The building has a retro architecture look with a high ceiling. The interior is very efficient. The breakfast was great! Mr. Andres served our breakfast and he is the nicest person we had the pleasure of talking with in Mexico. He gave us his suggestion on how to plan our stay at mexico city and what places we should visit in the most efficient ways. I would highly recommend this place to anyone if you are staying in Mexico City. The place is perfect to explore the city as many major attractions are within walking distance.

Everything was great!

The location was great! It's fantastic to stay here if you want a hotel with easy access to all of Mexico City's popular destinations. Also, the breakfast was AMAZING. They offer traditional Mexican breakfast dishes, and I was always looking forward to it, especially for a cheap price. The service was spectacular, especially on the terrace.

At night, it was difficult to fall asleep as there was a lot of noise going on in the hallway. The doors were thinner than I expected, so at night there was a lot of noise from other guests moving around the hotel at night. Luckily, I used the provided fan to block out the noise which helped a ton. Plus, I didn't realize there wasn't a window in the room, which bothered me a little bit as I do like to be able to look outside. This part wasn't a big deal as I spent most of the stay outside of the room, anyways.

I mean you are in the center of Mexico City, literally. Front desk staff, housekeeping & breakfast staff - they’re were all professional & welcoming. The room was spotless, shower head pressure was great & nice hot water. Breakfast was delicious - made me happy.

Being in the center of everything has great pluses & the not so great: this is not a complain since it’s out of the hotels hands - it can be loud, city noise & if there are any demonstrations you’re kind of stock & it complicates a way to move around the city. Not a break dealer, just something to be aware. All the pluses overweight the minuses :)

What didn't we like? The location of this hotel is absolutely amazing, right in the middle of the Historic Center and a short walk to so many amazing sites. The staff were also fantastic and accommodating. There aren't laundry facilities on site but Juan at reception arranged a collection (and delivery back) for us. Juan was very friendly and accommodating along with the other staff. Water pressure is fantastic and the showers were nice and big. Room was nice and quiet given the location

WiFi was a little spotty but not terrible.

The hotel is unique in the way it looks like a "vecindad". The rooms have very high ceilings and are spacious and comfortable. The location is exceptional, given you are in a prime area to explore and very close to El Zocalo. The price is a very good value. The staff was very kind and helpful with helping us by storing our bags for a few hours for free after we had checked out of our room. The hotel has complimentary breakfast and a terrace with a nice view. Also, there is a delicious and inexpensive restaurant next door which offers daily lunch special.

The rooms are nice and spacious and the staff was great, but the beds could be more comfortable, and the rooms are now exactly very modern. Yet it is a good hotel which I recommend. I would definitely stay again.

I got a package with bfeakfast and their meals were amazing. The service was excellent. They treated me like I was dining at a 5 star restaurant. The rooms were spacious. They offer free water in the rooms. They have water dispensers in the balcony area and in the lobby.

It didn't bother me but I'm sure it will others but if u get a room next to the street, the busy street is loud. I always have either earplugs or airpods and it's total silence for me.

Great central location in a restored old hotel , lots of character , quiet and clean. Fabulous breakfast which was included in the very reasonable price They have a water cooler ( and hot ) in the lobby to refill your bottles - excellent . We were able to store our luggage whilst we flew to Oaxaca for a few days - perfect Reception has English speaking personal and they are very friendly and helpful
