Ahead of arrival we asked to get a room like shown on the pictures. And indeed we got it, with a nice balcony and wonderful view. The pool area is really beautiful and the location itself is nice as you can directly walk to the sea side or take a cheap bus along the hotel zone. It was possible to sleep with open window, so at least on the lagoon side it was not loud.

The water in the shower got damn hot by time and it was not possible to bring the temperature down. We mentioned it at the reception, but nothing happened. For breakfast we sometimes used the shop in the lobby, but this felt quite expensive. Furthermore the hotel itself seemed to be already old and used. Many things in the room looked poorly fixed or damaged. We paid 100 € per night.

Rooms very nice but very loud air con since we were near the roof. Great lagoon view from the room . Nice restaurant with great view, although the food wasn't great , pizza was horrible , most people could eat it at all, and very little to none choice for vegetarians..

Staff could be a bit more engaged, slow attendance and sometimes poor attitude. Also we had cold water for 3 days but it got resolved after 2 days when i complained at the reception. Overall was ok, we had a car so were away from the hotel during the day, otherwise would be very borred there

Pretty much everything, it's a good spot, short bus trip into town. Tours pick up from hotel across the road. Pool and Gym and a Starbucks.

It's that thing in America and Mexico, you book it online and then the Hotel gives you the actual price + Taaaaaaxxes. Just put it in the price on Booking.com instead of making the Hotel staff bare the brunt of the customers dissatisfaction.

We were discriminated against by the manager and the girl at the desk. The price we booked for and the price we were told once at the site was different and upon probing the manager and the girl up front which I don’t have their names were rude and not comprehensive. The customer service was poor, the girl working there threaten to call the police. We had a terrible experience. The place was very beautiful but because of the way we were welcomed, I will never come back there again. The manager is not a good leader and I believe because of the color of our skin he was discriminating us and refused to give us privacy once in our room.Again we had a horrible experience.

We stayed only one night before going to the airport but it was a pleasant stay. There is a beach within 10 min walk from the hotel, if you want to go deeper to the hotel zone, just get the frequent buses for not even 1 USD that are stopping in front of the hotel, otherwise the taxis will cost you a fortune.

The breakfast for 300 pesos per person is a bit pricey. If your room is facing the street, you will have noise even at night.

the real inn cancun was an excellent and affordable stay! the rooms were much bigger than anticipated with excellent facilities including free water upon arrival, strong air conditioning, towels, iron board etc. we had a great accommodation with our hotel room and no troubles checking in or out / luggage holding etc. the real inn had a beautiful lagoon front restaurant and pool, the view was incredible and the food was pleasant for the price! the hotel had also provided us beach towels, pool tanning chairs and there was a starbucks inside the hotel which isn’t mentioned in the description! as far as the location- while there are very minimal restaurants and activities within the vicinity, there is a city bus directly in front of and beside the hotel that costs 12 MXN to bring you anywhere along downtown and/or to the centre, we took this every day with no trouble or delays as they come about every 5 minutes. there is also a beach (playa longosta) 5 minutes walking distance. overall, real inn exceeded our expectations and we don’t regret staying here over an over priced hotel closer to the centre. the only complaint we have is that the wifi absolutely did not work in our room, and the only suggestion we have is to include a mini fridge in the rooms!

the wifi didn’t work even once in our room which was frustrating especially as travellers who are relying on wifi. the room also did not have a mini fridge to store water and/or small snacks. i’m not sure if this was listed in the hotel description however, presumed that there would be a mini fridge in a hotel room.

Spacious rooms, nice breakfast, swimming pool with nice view. The staff at the restaurant was friendly.

The staff in the reception was not quite helpful and it was difficult to communicate in English.

It was awesome the hotel was nice the service was impossibly good. It exceeded my expectations the pool was awesome and for some reason very warm. Oh and I can’t forget the restaurant. Eating outside at night was wonderful the breeze just hits different and not even that expensive. Oh and the pool was massive I mean like huge and maybe even jumbo. Also looking out from the front and crossing the road then going to the left is where you can take the ferry to isla mujeres. And some people said it was like 15 minutes walking not even if you walk slow maybe but my family got their in like 5 minutes also there is a taco shop next to the seven eleven and they charged us $104 for 12 tacos. personally I don’t know if all the rooms are like this but room 325 third floor was not good for sleeping in the night, the traffic just made to much noise. But I then again I’m known for not being able to sleep if the crickets are making o much noise.

The staff were so kind and helpful. I LOVED THE STAFF, I dont understand why people say the stuff are rude they are all amazing and so kind. The view was beautiful. The location is good. VIEW WAS AMAZING FROM THE LAGOON VIEW SUITE. Once I upgraded rooms i literally had no complaints about my room other than not having a fridge or microwave

No microwave or fridge. We upgraded from the deluxe to the suite because the deluxe did not have warm or hot shower water, it was room 408 i think. the deluxe toilet did not flush and bathroom did not seem as clean and view was not great. When we upgraded to the suite, that room had hot water, and bathroom seemed a little cleaner and the view was amazing. The staff was still great and so kind

Beautiful and clean hotel and wonderful staff. I must particularly highlight Gabriela, Antonio, Jorge, Hector and Mauricio in the restaurant and Carlos in the Starbucks cafe as they made me feel so welcome, especially as a first time solo traveller! Excellent facilities, food and pool is excellent. The hotel location is 5min walk from a gorgeous beach, the xcaret tower and ferry across to Isla Mujeres. There is 1 small shop about 20min walk away but there are bus routes regularly to downtown and main cancun area for more services.

Showers were a little inconsistent temperature wise but nothing to really complain about!
