Leave the road, take a track for 300m and...you'll be surprised! Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind and attentive host, Pablo. The entire team was always smiling and helpful, making us feel comfortable Nestled in the heart of the jungle, the setting is simply breathtaking—an oasis of tranquility, perfect for relaxation and disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The sounds of nature, the lush surroundings, and the serene atmosphere created the ideal escape. The food was another highlight! The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and delicious options to start the day right. The meals served throughout our stay were just divine—flavorful, well-prepared, and truly a delight for the taste buds. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with warm hospitality and amazing food, this is the perfect place.

Maybe a fridge and/or a coffee machine in the room would have been a nice to have.

Very nice location, serene, seems like in the middle of the jungle but very close to the highway and Chemuyil town where you can buy basic necessities and get food in local restaurants. The facility has a good layout, rooms are spacious and all have a view of the pool area which is very scenic with lush plants growing everywhere. Breakfast was enourmous, different everyday, special pancakes for the child also! Staff is very helpful and nice, also suggesting local free cenotes and public beaches. They offered cleaning on the second and third day, but we didnt feel the need for it. Rooftop is great for sunrise, hearing to all the birds waking up and starting their day. Pool is refreshing, well located, perfect size, there are sunbeds as well as place in the shade during the hottest part of the day.

You have to ring the bell for the entry to the premises everytime you come back. They are very responsive, but not sure why such protocol. From safety perspectice definitely okay, but didnt feel like there is a need for it. The water has a bit of an odour, and the linen and towels are not the freshest looking, but considering the location and overall vibe of the facility, it didnt bother us too much.

Amazing location and exceptional friendly hosts.

It is odd that you have buy drinking water and they only sell small bottles. Also the table for the bathroom sink is painted in a way that severely stained my wash bag that I had put there. The stains don’t go away. The wash bag was new and is now ruined. As others have noted, WiFi is slow. So slow that it was unusable for the duration of my stay.

In a single word 'Bliss', waking up to the sounds of the jungle. My wife and I stayed at Excacel Dream for two weeks and we can't praise it enough. Set away from the road in a jungle setting the hotel provides a quiet haven from the busy coastal strip. With just six rooms this is a very personal experience. Pablo the manager is very kind and accomodation.  Max the gardener is always busy keeping the place clean, tidy and well maintained. We loved our time there and were sad to leave. The local town Chemuyil is a short walk or cycle ride. There are a couple of small cenote, the cave one was our favorite.  Chemuyil has a couple of restaurants that we used, but our favorite was La Buena Vida in Akumal just a 15 car journey away. The road into the hotel is rather bumpy but nothing to worry about, just take it slowly.

Nothing.....a humming bird feeder would be a vice addition to the garden.

The place is beautiful and surrounded by nature, the food was great, the service was outstanding, and the location was perfect to visit all towns in Quintana Roo. We were received by Pablo who made our stay just perfect, giving us a lot of precious information to visit local places and treating us like family. We totally recommend Xcacel dreams!

- remote, quiet, jungle setting - staff were awesome and accommodating - spacious room - ac functioned well - private, safe parking - small and quiet facility - gorgeous setting - balcony off room was awesome to have/use - staff assisted in getting gorgeous flowers - lots of big windows/bright light

- road between highway and property couldn’t be rougher (lots of construction/truck traffic) - closest amenities are 20mins away - pool was too chilled to use during our stay (day temp between 25-30) - not enough hanging spaces for wet stuff in room - table or desk or somewhere to set luggage would be helpful - Wi-Fi was sketchy and didn’t work at times - breakfast that was included was minimalist (white toast/bit of fruit/coffee) - no fridge, kettle or any other amenities in room - bed was hard; pillow’s uncomfortable

The location is surrounded by the jungle. The overall place Is beautiful and super cozy. There is also a small bar/restaurant next to the beautiful swimming pool. There is also a rooftop were you can lay and relax watching the stars. The room, bath and private balcony are very big, and the mattress comfortable! A car Is suggested but not mandatory, since there is a moto taxi that could bring you there from the town of Chemuyl. Paolo, which manages the structure is extremely helpful and can suggest nice place to visit off the beaten tracks, such as hidden cenotes in the nearby

Small hotel with 6 rooms, so there was plenty of space by the pool to relax.The pool space was perfect, I loved it so much. It was very calming and lovely place to spend the night, chatting away. There are restaurants and shops nearby (by car) to pick up snacks and water. You will require a car/ motorbike to get there.

No drinking water provided. Beds were a little small for two people, manageable but not luxurious.

it's beautifully taken care of and very nicely decorated. the room was quite big and had everything we needed. the dinner we had at the other location of this hotel was amazing and really delicious. personally I found it sad that there was no vegetarian or vegan option on the menu but they were able to create something very delicious for me anyways :)

there were some strange noises at night behind our wall next to the bed and we couldn't figure out what it was, we believe it must have been some kind of animal. but it didn't bother us much as we chose to be in the jungle. the access road though was really tough to drive and not enjoyable at all.

Pablo is a great host. Always smiling always ready to help. We were treated like the members of the family. The cook and person who did the cleaning of the garden are also great. The place is beautiful and in the middle of the jungle. Still you can easily find it and enjoy the unique vibe.
