A satisfactory quality-price ratio, diversified food, a good cleaning service. A gorgeous beach, huge pools and lots of wildlife, the location is gorgeous.

Most of the staff react very well only if they receive tips. I don't think it's normal to give tips at the breakfast or lunch buffet, as such I had a rather bad experience where although the table next to us had been served many times with wine, we weren't even they didn't ask us if we wanted water, and that's because we thought it wasn't necessary to tip. I tipped at the bars and restaurants where you had to make a reservation, I didn't consider it necessary or normal to tip at the buffet restaurants in a 5-star all-inclusive hotel. Another rather serious problem is that absolutely nowhere in the booking is it specified that the hotel is for non-smokers. Absolutely nowhere, there is no bar or terrace provided for smokers so we had to go outside the hotel to smoke.

The resort is huge and beautiful. One can easily find quiet areas on the pool or beach to read a book, or action filled spots with music and activities. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a great variety of food and drinks, and many restaurants throughout the resort. We especially like that the resort shares the grounds with 3 other iberostar resorts, and some of the restaurants and facilities are shared with all the hotels, which increases your options even more. Kids can be totally independent (depending on age), and have plenty of activities.

The size of the resort and the way it is laid out means you walk A LOT. This can be challenging for young kids or older adults. They have a club car shuttle, but you need to wait 10-15 minutes for it sometimes. On the plus side, we walked ~15K steps everyday, to make up for all the food we ate. Our least favorite part of the resort were the a la carte restaurants. The food there was mediocre at best, and the service was not what we expected. We thought these would be a step up from the buffet restaurant, but the buffet was much better in all aspects. We tried 2 different restaurants and felt the same about both. That being said, the buffet restaurant was really great, and sticking to dinners there is more than enough.

The hotel is part of a resort complex of several other hotels. Flora and Fauna are nice and you can meet different types of animals. Service and food are good and there are plenty of activities to do everyday. We had a great time and recommend it 🙂☀️🌴

We did not like that much the welcoming of the reception upon our arrival, we were not explained some general information which is worth sharing with guests upon their arrival, such as breakfast / dining hours, which parts of the resort you can use and which ones have restricted access.

beautiful hotel with friendly staff. pool area and beach were so nice. there was space for everyone so it never felt crowded. room was comfortable and spacious(however they should replace beds as those ones were used and felt a bit uncomfortable). the best part was an amazing kids club with wonderful activities all day long. people working in the kids club were amazing and super sweet to our daughter and other kids. our main reason to come back to this hotel would be the kids club. it was also nice that they have a small shopping center with a few food options next to the hotel. a la carte restaurants were great.

food at the hotel was ok, but definitely not great, at the buffet restaurants, options were also sort of limited ( compared to another Iberostar hotel we stayed in). buffet restaurants were also often crowded with long lines, we had to wait even to just get inside. i guess it is because hotel is really big. we enjoyed though a la carte restaurants. lack of fresh juices / healthy beverages during the day. they had them only at the breakfast. all other drinks were full of sugar and way too sweet.

The garden is really great, with flowers eveywhere and animals. The food is not so bad The music is not so loud. The beach may be very nice when there is no wind The rooms are resonnably confortable. Everything works It is nice for children

It is very , very big, may be over one thousand rooms. Plus three other hotels same size around. Checking in and out procedures are rather slow, and there are only a few employes for that , I wonder what would happen when lines get created The Covid testing procedure (when needed) is slow and long : about four administrative steps and one thirty second test. All in all, I spent 45 minutes to get an antigen test, I had the result five minutes later, and I got the real document by mail five hours later.

the grounds were beautiful! Flora and fauna were lovely as well as the extensive pool area. The beach seating was plentiful, but the ocean floor was rocky in spots. You had to be careful where you entered and exited. Water was just the right temp; waves were perfect for floating with an occasional jump - kids and adults alike!

It very homely kind of feel . The food is Great. Best Tacos.

The property is so outdated. No usb ports anywhere. Hardly can find an outlet. The Tv are also outdated. The rooms gives a motel feel. it doesn’t match with the property. The club is the most updated part on the facilities. They need to chose a different section for vendors because it get congested and you can pass. El colonial sign needs to be more visual. The cart drivers needs to stop asking guest about getting high not everyone smoke marijuana.

I had one of the rooms with the beach view - definitely worth it! The food offered as part of the all-inclusive package was great! Lots of options. No doubt that I will come back.

The reception staff could be a bit more nicer and a lot more patient, especially to those who knows little to no Spanish at all.

There’s not that many outlets in the rooms and concierge are not as helpful once you are not willing to attend their timeshare meetings where they get incentives from.

Great hotel with many options of activities (even during COVID), short walk to the beach and a plethora of amenities - pool is great and where we spent most of the time

The front desk service is abhorrent when it comes to efficiency and ability to help - there is also a disconnect between the phone operator and the front desk staff Also, the buffet restaurants while great during the day are unbearable at night due to mosquito infestations that make it simply impossible to enjoy a meal without getting blasted with mosquito bites - bring your mosquito repellent otherwise you will be miserable
