The suit has an amazing view! Food is in high quality, staff super helpful and kind. It offers tours to explore Mexico. I made a mistake in our booking and receptionist kindly fixed it, nice communication via WhatsApp to get all you need for your room or any recommendations.

On the second night of our stay, room became very humid, maybe because we left terrace doors opened for the whole day. Pure alcohol cost extra and coctails and other drinks are not the best quality. There are no activities in the hotel.

This was our second visit to Senses Riviera Maya, a wonderful little boutique hotel set up in the picturesque backdrop of turquoise waters, sun and endless blue skies that just recharges one’s spirit! The rooms are spacious, featuring a spa like shower and tub, and all have a magnificent ocean view. They have a beautiful infinity pool and beach access within steps of the resort. The vibe here is that of tranquility and relaxation, with an emphasis on customer service. Do not expect wild parties (although I’m sure Karen, the knowledgeable concierge, could help you set up transportation if such experience is what you desire!). There is one full restaurant and a snack/quick lunch bar, on different levels. The dishes are tasty and made fresh, so prepare to be a little patient with that in mind. At night, Hernan, one of the evening servers, became our go to for food suggestions, drink ideas and dessert guru. During the day, Habib, one of the day servers, became adept at making my husband’s favorite drink and answering questions about the area and hotel. Both of these individuals were the gold standard in hospitality and made our day to day stay comfortable and enjoyable. At the end of our stay, it felt like we were leaving friends. A big hats off to the GM Pedro, who took care of some minor issues in our room immediately and personally followed up with us. Senses is a small place with a lot of heart, the staff are kind- some even remarkable as mentioned above, I would definitely recommend you visit this oasis to experience both its simplicity and charm. I know I will be back as soon as possible!

Beautiful pool, friendly service in the pool area and restaurant, room size and amenities were excellent

Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Restaurant had limited hours-especially the pool area. Only 1 real option for dinner. Room service was an extra charge. Hotel is located in a rocky area so beach wasn’t great.

Ignacio was very friendly, as were all the waitstaff. The bed was comfy, and shower pressure was good. Relaxing at the pool was nice, and the view was excellent. Restaurant servers were all really good and super attentive. Music was appropriate and view amazing. Hibiscus and tamarind margaritas were delicious. Rooms were exactly like the picture, and very clean, smelled fresh.

Food arrived cold at the pool, and pool servers were more about chatting with other staff than taking orders.Staff playing the same 80s rock on repeat at the pool was annoying, and the music really wasn't suitable. Most drinks were sickeningly sweet because they were all premixes, some drinks watered down. Kept Whatsapping the front desk, and they deleted the conversations rather than replying. Mini bar not stocked well, a few beer and pop and water. Hotel was no where near Puerto Morelos.

we were looking for something exclusive and private and this was the best option,It wasn’t crowded/noisy at all and it was perfect for relax and rest for the weekend. the staff was amazing. I personally don’t like being covered with sand or walk miles to my room so again, this was perfect for us.

Most of the staff were nice, trying so hard to make things right.

-The doors didn’t lock. You read that right. The terrace doors. I locked myself out and broke into my room wearing sandals and a dress. Easy as that. When we complained, one worker told us ALL the terrace doors don’t lock. We spoke with other guests- they said they were told none lock. Great, so everyone in this complex knows all hotel rooms are enterable via the terrace. -Elevator didn’t work first day. The man said it would get fixed tomorrow- was never fixed the 6 days we were there. -They tried to charge us $75 for COVID tests. -The bar/ restaurant was not open as late as advertised- 10pm on weekdays. -There are many other inaccuracies advertised on the website. But you probably don’t need to hear them all now that you know the doors don’t lock.

Upon arrival you are greeted with smile, and everything is taken care of. The rooms are amazing, and the two restaurants have everything you need. You are close to Carmen for shopping but leave that for the afternoon after the sun moves away from the pool. It isn't stated in the description, but they have an elevator that goes to each floor. Watch out for the iguanas that like to sunbathe on the driveway :).

Probably getting down to the beach might be a bit hard if you have limited mobility. I wasn't sure if there was an area set aside for our resort at the beach but it felt very territorial, ie each resort has their private areas, but you can swim wherever you want. If I went back it wouldn't be for the beach, definitely for the sunrises though and the night star view from the top deck and jacuzzi.

Daniel was absolutely awesome, after arriving his calm attitude made my arrival much easier after not being picked up by the taxi that was paid for. The pool was awesome and the view from my room was breathtaking!!!! Rodrigo and crew made my entire week. I didn't mind the elevator not working I choose a room on the third floor to get my cardio on.

I wish there were more activities on site instead of having to travel so far.

The staff was great! very helpful. I enjoyed it being “Only Adults” because we really had a lot of freedom to do as we please. The pool was great and had an amazing view.

Even though the food was okay, I wish there was more restaurants. Out pool on the balcony didn’t work and neither did the jacuzzi in our room. The resort is a little ran down. It’s pretty secluded, we had asked if there was anywhere that delivered there because the restaurant closes at 10, and they told us no. Also they monitor your towels and bed linen, so if you leave a stain on it, they will try and charge $50 USD

Absolutely everything. Staff were amazing, courteous, professional, and hard-working. The room was beautiful and clean. The area was super quiet. All we heard were the waves on the beach. The beachfront view from our balcony was priceless. The hotel is nestled away from all the busy tourist areas. Tourist attractions are only a taxi call away, and the hotel staff even do that for you.

I can't say there was something that I didn't like. I know some reviews on this place weren't good, and for the life of me, dont understand people.
