An amazing place with super helpful staff. They listened to my needs, I needed to have a good internet connection so they put me in the room which I could easily do my online stuff from. People complain the rooms are dark, yes they are but that's the vibe of this beautiful place. I loved the pool, A/C worked well, the location was perfect for me, in the town, felt safe walking during the day, lots of restaurants nearby, quite far away from the beach so mind your needs.

Not in every room the internet connection is efficient, so let know the staff in advance. I've been to Tulum around 7 years ago, the town has changed it's quite touristy now. So again: depending what you are looking for. The hotel itself is really great.

Hotel was very quirky and had lots of character. Everything was very comfortable and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Its also a great location, close enough to everything to walk to the restaurants etc but not too in it all that the noise would keep you up at night.

We had a couple of power cuts while we were there - Im not sure if this is a regular thing or if it’s because of the weather at the time. The only criticism would be that there was no option in the room for lots of light, mood lighting only here. Great during the stay but it made packing our bags a little fun.

The decor was very original and tastefully done. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable.Hot water & pressure was great. Ample space to put away your belongings. Extra wide patio door that leads to a balcony. A chair or two on the balcony would have been nice to chill although a nice rooftop terrase and pool is available to us.

The lighting created a very boudoir athmosphere to the room but seemed a little too dark especially in the bathroom which made it quite difficult to shave. The bathroom miror could have been bigger and better quality. A full lenght miror in the room would have been appreciated. Overall better lighting would be highly recommended.

- nice guy at the reception, gave helpful tips etc. was a pleasure - nice rooms, quite clean, - ok location, good streetfood in nearby street ! - possible parking in nearby street - 2 for 1 margaritas in restaurant by the hotel :D - pool upstairs

- no "dedicated" / secure parking - we were supposed to pay with MXN but by "misunderstanding" were charged in USD through unfavorable exchange rate, so make sure you are paying in "correct" exchange rate... But Booking somehow solves the issue.

The location, we were near everything.

If you take a bike to the beach be ready to put your legs to work because it’s a bit far.

Great location for bars and restaurants in Tulum and visiting the ruins and cenotes! Very close to a collectivo stop too (also tons of taxis on the main street). Bar downstairs does 2 for 1 Margaritas which you can drink on the rooftop pool. Excellent way to wind down after a busy sightseeing day!

The room was so dark, even with the lights on!

i like the location and the staff was extremely friendly, very helpful. thank you to all the staff members, always here to answer question, just so polite :)) my room was cleaned everyday, smelled good and the location is on the Main Street so you have plenty of choice, then you can rent a bike directly from the hotel, and ride the bike to the beach, you’ll have apx 20min ! which is perfect to stop and visit around :)

Even though I didn't really like Tulum as a place, this hotel was very good. The room was super comfortable, the bed as well, the room has a lot of light. I also liked the vintage decorations and overall feel inside the room. I had good help from the staff, I rented a bicycle (not too sporty but in very good shape) and got good tips for visiting the cenotes without arranged tours, thanks a lot Fecundo!

Please fix the shower :)

The staff was exceptional, and the property is a short bike ride to the actual Tulum archeological site. They rent the bikes to take there. Interesting side note -- the owner is a film buff with B & W posters of Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall and the gang from the film, Casablanca. The hotel's restaurant is appropriately named "Casablanca," and the rooms are themed with vintage items throughout. Great place with character.

Very good customer service, the receptionists are very kind and accommodating. This hotel is very central and within walking distance to all restaurants, shops and bars in central, so handy if your meeting other people in central too. I had a bad experience at my last hotel I originally booked and the staff turned it all around. They also have access to well-priced tours, which took the stress away from researching and trying to find a good one that was value for money. The room was clean, I was happy with their facilities, and they thoroughly communicate with you every day to check if you want your room cleaned and wish you a nice day, so the staff are easily accessible, they also go out of their way to use a translation app to make sure you understand each other. I felt safe and secure at this hotel as there is security present after midnight. This hotel is good value for money!

The only feedback I would give is to put more bright lights and lamps in the navy blue rooms as it was difficult to see when I was getting ready or trying to find things.
