The location is quiet good, and the joungle feeling is unforgettable! Away from the trouble of the zona Hotelera on the beach, but if you want to make beach day we consider the Gitano beach (They have a collab. with). The pool is amazing, in the late afternoon it went a bit "dirty" because of the trees and plants around it but that was ok. The food in the Copal restaurant was amazing as in the Sushi Restaurant Kokoro (one of the best sushi we had) and the price/performance was rally good (the opposite of the many beach clubs) The staff was really nice especially Rebecca from the Info deks, she gave us super amazing recommendations for activitiesduring our stay. The Room was spacious an always clean! The A/C was super helpful, you need will need it so much woth such temperatures 😅

The only thing that bothered us a bit was the bright light of the refrigerator at night, which you could see from the bed. The smell of the very strong smelling and very penetrating detergent which the housekeeping ladies probably used in the daily cleaning. But that is also the only little bit negative otherwise everything was top.

Copal is a nice wellness oriented hotel with an amazing jungle style setting outside and inside the premises. It felt clean and safe. Yoga, multiple pools and a good restaurant added to our experience. There was also a decent gym for a small hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Location requires travel to town or to the beach, which is not very walkable. Copal could do better at ensuring guests understand adjoining doors between apartments and that this means guests should be respectful of noise, and that they know about low noise rules (including their 9pm ‘no loud music’ rule). Copal could also improve by doing something simple like providing ear plugs to those who are disrupted by more selfish, party oriented guests (which is inevitable in Tulum)

it’s far from anywhere. Getting a taxi to the beach road is fairly far and you also can’t just walk to downtown so the costs really add up. you have to pay for extras like yoga and bottles of water, which we thought should have been included.

The hotel has a really cool jungle feeling and is designed very beautifully. The rooms are clean and our room had a nice view and terrace. The bathrooms have a nice large shower. Restaurant food and staff are amazing.

The hotel sometimes had a strong party vibe with guests playing loud music in their rooms and a lot of Instagram posing in the pool etc. so if you just want to chill as a couple it may be a little annoying as walls are also very thin. Additionally, cleaners wake you at 8am to ask if you need the rooms cleaned - that’s super early. The location itself is cool as it does have a jungle feeling but you will definitely need a car or bike. Bikes were almost rented out every day…

I loved the overall ambiance of the hotel. It was very relaxing, but also felt luxe. The food was also great. You must have the Benedictine eggs for breakfast and also have Kokomo for dinner! I absolutely loved the sushi restaurant.

Guest services could've been more prompt with completing requests, if at all. The day before my last day at the hotel, we asked for towels 4 times and never received them, which was very disappointing.

I didn't like that it was far from the beach taxes were expensive $30 sometimes $45 each way, I also didn't like that they didn't give you towels everytime they cleaned we literally had to go downstairs 3 times to finally get some help, also I feel like there should be phones in the rooms, it was an ok experience but for the price I expected more.

We really loved the over all vibe of the Copal. To be honest, I wish that I had spent more time at the hotel. Jose in guest experience was a great help! He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay! Everyone we encountered during our stay was very helpful! Santos in the restaurant gave us great food recommendations and both restaurants were AMAZING! We especially loved Kokoro. The food was excellent and our server Antonio was helpful and attentive. There were ATV's and scooters available to rent across the street.

The hotel is quite far from anything and you will definitely need to rent a scooter or ATV, as taxis are very expensive. The wifi wasn't as reliable as we expected it would be. Unfortunately, we were robbed while we had lunch at "Las Hijas de la Tostada". My phone and bank card were stolen, which put a damper on our time in Tulum. This obviously had nothing to do with the hotel, but be careful when you are out in the town.

Beautifully designed place, we had a very pleasing time t the hotel, and enjoyed most of the amenities. Spa, pool, infinity pool, restaurant, gym. Just great.

The location is ok. Middle point m, close to the town 5 min in car and close to the beach 10-15 min in car. Must get a car to get the most out of the place.
