The property is hidden in an urban setting. I love how they incorporate natural things into the property. I loved every single detail in the property.

Very stylish property with jungle feel. nice pool and bar area.

Very thin walls. You can hear your neighbors very loud. The new neighborhood Alden Zama has not much charm and essentially it is still a huge construction site with an awful lot of properties being built and not very lifely as of now.

The design of the hotel is incredible, the pools, the rooms are so futuristic in an eco conscious way and finally the nests. The bed was super comfortable and the little terrace with pool view just divine. A little tropical oasis.

However, on our first night a group of girls started playing their own music and swimming in the pool after the bar closed while singing very loud. As a result, we couldn't sleep as our room was near the pool. We had to ask them ourselves to turn it down as the receptionist did nothing. There was loud singing the second night also as it was valentine's day. I did not picture this serene hotel as a party place for young girls. Probably avoid if you want to relax in peace.

Everything it’s amazing in this place Location,Service,Environment,Food,Architecture since you get there they will give you nothing less that excellence in service Daniel ,Jose Luis ,and the guy from Merida (I forgot his name 😜)will prepare for you the best cocktails in Tulum with a great personalized service the staff in front desk will go extra mile to make you feel welcome and will help you with all your needs during your stay (thank you for arrange the rent of the scooter for me that was a great experience to transport and see Tulum like a local) tree room was beautiful we move after to xcaret arte to finish our vacations but we was bummed that we only stay at orchid 3 days we were comparing the service all the time and for a small hotel they just beat it we re coming back for sure

The hotel is unique and very authentic, make you feel the real Tulum, Mexico vibe. Its make you feel connected with the nature. From our rooms every morning we could see the wild life and very interesting species. The bottle of water in the room was refilled upon request. Staying in the hotel, allows us having free access to Orchid Beach House. Both Jungle and Beach Restaurants were good, we had couple of meals and cocktails. Very quite and romantic. The hotel was providing repellent in each of the rooms.

We had couple of maintenance issues like lack of water for short period of time, unpleasant smell in one of the rooms from the toilet/canalization, high amount of mosquitoes inside the room. The bed was very very soft, so for the one who usually sleep on hard mattress will face difficulties. The cleaning was upon request, we were asked if we wanted it or not. Upon check out were about get charged for the same cleaning service that we requested only once. The safe is very small, so no laptop, camera, drone, etc. could fit.

The relaxed ambience with the architecture of the hotel being focused around a jungle experience, with running water throughout. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are a good size and beds very comfortable. The rain shower is also nice. The bar/restaurant and small pool is very relaxed and well laid out. The food is also good, with lots of fresh ingredients.

It can be a little dark with all the jungle foliage around and lots of mosquitoes but this is unavoidable. The private bath and garden is small dark and a bit basic. There was not much privacy from the next room with the dividing fence and shutters on the windows. There was a bit of a smell coming from the bathroom plumbing. The floor to the room above was not insulated being wooden framed, although it looks great it was very loud when people walked upstairs or talked.

wonderful space. Stayed in both the Garden room and the Jungle room (moving after the first 2 days). Tubs are amazing, we preferred the jungle room (really felt immersive). pool area is amazing you can use the associated beach house too which is prime and very welcoming staff are brilliant (esp. at the bar)

I would say the food is a little pricey. Very tasty, but quite expensive. No breakfast is a little bit of a pain (you end up paying for it each day). You’re also on a new complex, but it feels like the jungle still - I’d be lying if I loved the area, but it feels classy, albeit you need to get a cab around (quite common for Tulum). We stayed at another hotel for 2 nights before this and they provided free bicycles. I think (due to the location) that would be a sensible idea - renting them for USD15 a day just feels like extraction of cash once you have already paid for a nice hotel and the breakfast each day

The location is in a quiet residential area that feels very safe. The hotel is beautifully decorated, making you feel like you’re in the jungle. The safe were extremely helpful and kind. The beach access at My Way was great!

The room could have been cleaner - most of the bed sheets and towels had stains. We had ants in our room, so couldn’t leave any food open in our room.

The food was excellent and the staff were exceptional. The reception and servers at the bar were absolutely wonderful. There were two men in particular, Daniel and Manuel, who went out of their way with kindness and service. They are phenomenal employees and should be recognized for it!

We moved from the jungle room on the second floor to a master suite on the third because the people above sounded like elephants. Also, this has nothing to do with orchid house but the apartments next door are within very clear earshot of our room. Two nights in a row, the people outside in that building were so loud and it sounded as if it was in our room. The hotel isn’t sound proof. Other than that, the stay was wonderful and I recommend that if you aren’t a late night partner, to stay here during the week. Weekends seem to go way up in noise level. I should also mention that their beach club is free access to those who stay in the jungle, and they also have absolutely wonderful service!! Such a beautiful hotel.
