My stay at Ophelia Experience in Tulum was truly unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Luis, the local manager of the unit I rented. Luis was not only welcoming but impressively knowledgeable. He shared fantastic recommendations on where to go, what to do, and especially where to eat. Thanks to him, I discovered that Tulum has an absolutely incredible gastronomic scene I hadn’t expected! The entire Ophelia team was top-notch, every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. The location is also unbeatable, perfectly situated right on the border of Aldea Zama, making it easy to access both the beach and the town while enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for an experience that combines local insight, exceptional service, and a prime location, Ophelia is the place to be. I can’t wait to return and explore even more of what Tulum has to offer. Highly recommend!

Very friendly service, and a great pool. The room was decent size with balcony and had all the required items. Shopping is within 15 minutes walk. Someone else in a previous review complained about the limited amount of gabbage bags and tissue paper, but my host had left additional so it was not an issue.

The main complaint would be the water. The shower really stank when it was turned on, likely caused by the drains. The immediate surrounding areas are slums or to be developed (however, I didn't run into any trouble and the police drove past multiple times). Access is currently via dirt roads.

As backpackers we enjoyed our stay here - it was affordable luxury with an amazing pool and good places to relax.

We found it difficult to locate staff members - we wanted to hire bikes one morning but no one was at reception for a long time. It’s a little far out of the town, we were quoted 300 pesos for a taxi from the ADO bus station. The access road is in poor condition & hotels in the area need to do more to invest in the local community. There was a wall separating the luxury resort and locals living in poverty. Our A/C made loud banging noises randomly, so we had to have it switched off at night.

Ophelia was the perfect couple stay for us. The property manager, Mauricio, made himself personally known to us at our arrival and immediately responded to anything we needed. He is an absolute gem and a hardworker. Ophelia was quiet, had fantastic amenities (amazing pool, laundry, and gym), there weren't many people so it felt like it was a private stay, the room was very comfortable and clean, 24/7 security, electric bikes available to rent throughout the day which is a huge money saver plus you don't have to deal with any shady rental companies. We also liked the fact that you could bike to the hotel zone/beaches in 10-15 minutes and also bike to the town zone. Thanks for everything Mauricio-you are a legend ^^

Beautiful accommodation, quiet and clean, with a huge pool area to seat and relax or work. The apartment comes with a little terrace and a kitchen to prepare food with a fridge and all needed utensils (microwave, pans, etc). The area is safe and 10 minutes by foot from the center. The staff (Mauricio) is very friendly and helps with anything you need. I enjoyed my stay here and will gladly come again!

The Property and Pool might be the most beautiful Hotel I have ever seen in My Life; and this includes 1000's of hotels unfortunately. They have a bar, without bartender, which is nice because you do not feel pressure to drink there, awesome seating on first and second floor of common area, Front Desk Staff was very nice and professional, On Point English. Huge Workout Room. Plenty of BathRooms. There is a great local street with stores/take out/restaurants if you take a immediate right as soon as you leave property.

They need a Social Hour Weekly/PotLuck Monthly. Location is a bit far during the day to walk to town, but okay at night; not as hot. Be sure to get a local cabbie's WhatsApp Number. 987-107-0053?!

Perfect condo bedroom/kitchen and nice bathroom. A small patio. Well equipped. Clean. But best of all, a lovely pool and leisure area, gym and laundry room. Very comfortable. 15 mins walk to the town restaurants alo g a rough unmade road. The area is still being developed. We felt safe walking. Far from the beaches. I ran daily to the hotel zone beaches, about 5 miles. Could use colectivo transport.

The rooms are very nice, the swimming pool is big and the restaurant there is decent. You can use the laundry room and the gym.

The management is quite absent, the check-in was a nightmare and arriving there is challenging, but not impossibile, you need to get the right road, otherwise you might end in a very bumpy road.

Ophelia has a very quiet and convenient location to town and beaches. Perfect place for solo travelers that search for a peaceful place to stay. Mauricio the manager was also very helpful with all the questions.

I feel the apartment I had could have better linens and kitchen utensils.

Design of the hotel is wonderful and service of my property manager named Mauricio was exceptional. He was very welcoming, warm and helpful. He helped me with everything and even promised to help if I'd have any kind of mosquito transmitted fevers.

Half of a duration of my stay there was no electricity, and it means no water, no ac, nothing. Couple of hours - ok, but almost two days is hard.
