We had the best time ever at Casa Lool Beh! Ananda and José (and their two adorable dogs) made us feel so welcome during our stay. We came to Mérida for Mexican Independence Day and Ananda and José invited us to a party they were hosting with some friends which was such a lovely night! We were also sent a PDF with things to do in Mérida which was very useful. The design of the place is so lovely, you can really see how much thought and effort has gone into making this an oasis for weary travellers. The pool is open 24/7 for guests to use and the kitchen is fully stocked with ice water and boiling water (although we definitely didn’t need boiling water with the 34° heat!). The room had plenty of space and also air conditioning to keep us cool at night which was a lifesaver. Ananda and José, thank you so much for making our trip to Mérida so special!

I loved everything about my stay in Casa Lool Beh. The location is ideal and the hosts, Ananda and Jose are incredibly welcoming and attentive. They make you feel at home. All is clean and organized. The house and the rooms are colorful. The place is quiet. There is a nice pool to refresh and a patio to hang out. I originally had booked a hotel, but when I found Casa Lool Beh I rebooked and I was very happy with the choice. When I return to Merida I will definitely stay with Ananda and Jose.

Our host Ananda was amazing, extremely friendly and very helpful. We had a lovely stay at the hotel Casa Lool Beh and her two dogs were an added benefit. The facilities were great, the bed was very comfortable, the aircon was amazing and it was nice to have free access to a cold water dispenser. Her guide of the area was also extremely comprehensive and very useful. We had a very relaxing stay and would definitely book again.

It didn't bother us too much but it would have been nice if the bathroom in Loto had better ventilation or a bug shield on the window as the bathroom got very stuffy and hot.

We LOVED staying here! Ananda, Jose, and Ananda's mom Angelina are the most caring, kind, and attentive people, they are always eager to help to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. The communication was excellent from the first day of booking and arrival to the last day of our stay. We spent one week there, and are planning to return here again! :) The property is safe, secure, and it is beatifully cared for. Our room "Magnolia" was so peaceful! The room itself and the entire space around is very clean and well looked after. There is a kitchen that guests are invited to share with the family; there are also plates, cups, and drinking water dispenser (thank you!). Every morning there is a freshly made coffee (and a large variety of herbal teas in packets). And, it is lovely to see the real orange trees! :) There are also two lovely family dogs, they are very well behaved, and will come and say hi once in a while. There is no doubt that this place is our favourite in Merida and we are very happy we have made this choice! Thank you so much to the entire family for making us feel so welcome!

A bit of construction noise (drilling and banging) starting at 8 a.m. at a near-by property, but this is not the property's fault.

Very nice hosts. Ananda and Jose are warm and helpful. Ananda speaks good English which is a very helpful. We are allowed to store our luggage before check in and after check out. We share the common area with the host family which is very nice and beautifully decorated, the kitchen for cooking, free drink water, coffee and tea provided. Our room with double twin beds is spacious, good AC with a fan, good hot water shower. Location on the south side of the town, as this house is, is better than on the north side, since it’s closer to ADO. It is also closer to the Mercado where we can buy cheap fruits and local foods from street vendors. Principal Plaza is a short walking distance. The Governors Palace has wonderful murals, a must see. Gran Museum of Mundo Mayer is top class, so is Palacio Canton.

We had a few mosquitoes in the room which is annoying. Need to keep the windows and the door closed all the time. Screened windows would be helpful.

The host was very friendly, we had the warmest welcome so far in Mexico. She explained a lot and we regretted that we didn't spend more time here. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also the garden with swimming pool was well maintained and clean and the coffee was good. Overall we had a perfect stay.

The water pressure dropped a couple of times and you cloud not regulate the temperature so we switched the heater off and showered with colder water (Not cold) what is a welcome after a day of sweating.

Jose & Ananda are the most lovely people, helpfull and guestfriendy. You feel really welcome once you enter Casa Lool Beh. We found two new friends in them💗 Besides that, the place has a very nice atmosphere. Its like a big house, with a lovely pool in the back garden, a well equiped kitchen to use for all guests, and a general room to drink coffee or enjoy your own meals. Its a peacefull place, with a very good price for what you get. We lost a phone on Mex city airport, and because of the help of Ananda we found it back. We felt totally at home at Casa Lool Beh, and we stayed at the beginning and end of our trip.

It may have just been specific to our room, and would definitely stay again, but private room “Magnolia” needs a new mattress and pillows. We sank /rolled into the middle and the pillows were very lumpy. We unfortunately had a rough sleep both nights because of it, but as said — this may be room specific and would stay again.

Having walked the Camino in Spain, this place reminded me of the small albergue's offering rooms. The back courtyard and the pool are definite bonuses. There is a kitchen with access and a public area in the building. The entry area is clean. The owners responded and helped us locate the place when it was near midnight! We stayed here 8 nights and this place is suitable as a base. All but one of the rooms is away from the street... we got the one on the street and it was a bit noisy. I would return here.

Well, I liked everything BUT the truth is this place is needing something 'more' to catch the vibe they want to be. They need an artist or someone with some art talent to come in and spend some time making things 'better'. I mean, I really want to like the place but they just needed to do more than just yoga. Name the rooms, pick some themes, add some touches that invite people to be with the vibe could really make this place nice.

Ananda, the host greeted us when we got to the accomodation, she is a very friendly and kind person. She quickly introduced the amenities of the accomodation to us and showed us the rooms. The casa offers four separate rooms, two in the garden and two upstairs facing the street. The garden also includes a hammock and a swimming pool. There are two very friendly dogs at the location which was a huge plus! The rooms were nice and clean, towels are available at a small price. The bed was comfortable and the garden rooms were quiet. The location is very good, it is around 10 minutes walk from the main square and even less from the bus terminal.

The upstairs rooms were a bit loud during the night because they are facing the road in front of the home. It took some time until I got a hair dryer because some other guests kept it at their room, but that is just a minor thing.
