Despite some hotel policies that seem designed to give a bad review, the friendliness and location of the hotel make that impossible. Booking the hotel was a challenge, but booking.com came through and saved the day/vacation. I would not want to attempt booking directly - but once there, the staff were always friendly and smiling. View and location are almost impossible to beat.

Booking the hotel was almost impossible - I spent hours working with booking.com to make it work, but in the end everything came together. It was not booking.com but the hotel that made things difficult, and international banking - part of life these days. The hotel has it's quirks, like an elevator where the down button does not work on all floors, or in-room phones that don't work - but minor inconveniences at best. If people are looking for things to ruin their vacation, they might find them here, but if they are looking for reasons to have a great vacation, they will also find them here.

Great location staff is very helpful they make you feel at home this is my 4 visit and did not wanted to leave after a month stay at la rennissance Mr Abdul qadir is an excellent host along with his team faisal the bar staff Mr hamza and omar the night manager and security officer Mr Abdul rahim and Osama looked after us very well breakfast was great served by Mr kamal and Abdul chef is great housekeeping staff miss fatima Zahra took care of us very well and soufian never let me run out of clean towels and cleaned our room every day. WiFi router needs to be replaced on 5th floor due to bad signals.

*Lovely staff *Great clean and spacious room with lovely balcony *Amazing breakfast with lots of choice *Sitting area upstairs is lovely *Clean bathroom and bath, new toiletries delivered daily *Great location just a walk from Koutubia *Elevator located next to the door and not far from room *Overall great value for what we paid We loved our time at La Renaissance and will definitely book again if we come back to Marrakech incha'Allah.

My 2nd home very helpful staff Mr Abdul qadir is an excellent host had a lovely birthday party 🎉 🥳 at sky bar unforgettable 😀 front desk manager Mr Hamza is very helpful and booked us into the best room and always puts the smile on our face with his warm welcome Mr mustafa the concierge is very kind to find me taxi .we will be back soon. Nice location great staff house keeping is top class restaurant is great sky bar has amazing views over the city watched the morroco football match at the hotel atmosphere was Great front desk night manager Mr omar is the best door staff Mr mustafa and Mr hicham are so helpful. And last but not the least general manager Mr Abdul Qadir is a great guy and real gentleman this place is not just a hotel it's my 2nd home from home . I have been staying here for last 5 years .

Everything is perfect. No negative vibes to report

Good price, the best location, room was always clean and staff is really friendly. Do not believe some of these rewievs. We were considering to cancel our reservation because of them but we are glad we stayed there. Bar at the top is also nice with good music to have some fun. It really is worth the price.

Top class service from the staff make you feel like you are at home the restaurant manager Mr Abdul qadir is an excellent host and Mr faisal the bar manager always puts the best football matches on my request. Night desk manager Mr omar and hamza are very helpful to order takeaway food for me and my guests.

WiFi connection can be improved with the new router on 5th floor bedrooms.

When we checked in the room was small and washroom door was not closing properly, at reception I don't remember his name(Taha or Hamza) but he was so helpful, he upgrade us to suite room, the room was big but there was no WIFI connection. breakfast was average, there should be more variety

there was only one lift and it was too slow and small.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay & was extremely impressed with the level of customer service, starting with the Hotel Desk manager Hamzah who upgraded my room at no extra cost to a higher floors for better views of the city to Mustafa the friendly porter who is always at your service to assist ending with Abdou always going out of his way make our breakfast enjoyable (note breakfast time is until 11am so can always get a good nights sleep) Rooms have great niche themes with good sizes & thus great value for money with a central location. I recommend trying the Tagine in the sky lounge restaurant good price & quality. The views from the roof top of the Red City & Atlas Mountains are exceptional. Thank You!

The hotel & guests would benefit from a small gym room..

Located in centre of Marrakech close to everything train station, restaurants ,shops ,bus ,Jamaa El fna and gardens a walking distance to everything you need .

Staff were friendly and helpful responding to all our recommendations we recommend it to everyone who wanted to have a great experience as we had 😃
