The Riad is very authentic. The roof top is great. The staff is very helpful and polite. They speak English. The day of our departure we could leave our luggage in the hotel without asking it. Although it is in the middle of the city, it was very calm.

It is not the fault of the riad just to help other visitors. We have been there by car and it was quite difficult to find the Riad. In front of it there are enough space to cars and you do not have to pay for it. Unfortunately we had some guys who asked 50MAD for the parking. Do not do that, just ask the personnel of the Riad, they will help you to deal with these local guys.

The place is beautiful and gracefully decorated and the location is very strategic, in the heart of the Medina. The food is great, with rich breakfasts and tasty, freshly cooked dinners. The best tajine I had in Marrakesh was in this riad! But what really makes this place outstanding is the kindness and friendliness of the whole staff! Mohamed, Najib, Fowsia and the rest of the staff was always very helpful and attentive and always welcomed us with a smile ! Special mention to Najid who went always above and beyond with his help, insigthful tips and recommendations! We felt like at home! Thank you, we will be back!

Excellent location for excursions on foot around the Medina. I do recommend asking for a driver to pick you up the first time when you arrive though, as it can be a little confusing to find. On my first day in Morocco I was greeted with mint tea, a map of the city and some tourism tips, which was hugely appreciated. I also recommend eating there at least once - I did and the chicken-lemon tajine was the best meal I had in Marrakech. Just phenomenal! It's an old building (as you'd expect from a Riad) but well maintained. Beds are clean, the small staff are professional and helpful. The Riad owes its name to the orange tree growing in the inner courtyard, which scents the air with its sweet blossoms. It's a safe, cozy corner to retreat to after the sensory overload that is Marrakech's medina.

I couldn't get the aircon to work (might just be my monkey brain, I didn't ask because I didn't really need it).

*Best riad in Marrakesh* It was my second time in this riad and I would repeat it 100 times again! The place is very warm, cozy and welcoming. The rooms are big and the beds are even bigger. The riad is impecable, always clean and they clean the rooms everyday. The shower works perfect and there is always hot water. But the best part of it is Najib, since the moment you come in the door he is very welcoming, sweet and caring, if there is any problem in the room or you need help to move in the city… any problem you may have he is always there and ready to help. The breakfasts are really good, I still miss them! I would 100% recommend this riad to all my friends and family who want to visit Marrakesh! Having a good place to stay makes the trip 100 times better! Thank you Najib, we will defenitely come back!

The property was in walking distance of all the main attractions in Marrakech. The manager of the hotel was so welcoming and gave good recommendations of restaurants. The breakfast was very nice and we liked our room.

Everything was good! It might be tricky to find when first arriving though so is a good idea to book a taxi from the airport in advance with the Riad as they will drop you at the right place.

A great value for money option! Riad is authentic and conveniently located. The staff was fiendly and helpful. I can totally reccomend this riad!

The only reason for the reduced score is that we couldn't check in as soon as we arrived, we had to wait for a person. But we were not in a hurry, so it was not a problem for us at all. If you are in a hurry, I guess you should let the owners know your arrival time in advance to avoid the wait

The ambient is super nice. The pool is always clean and fresh, perfect for the Moroccan heat. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was always clean and fresh and its location couldn’t be better! It is very near the center but accesible by car, a super plus for going on day trips. Super!!

Great Riad, right in the centre of the Medina if that’s what you want. Clean, good breakfast, staff helpful, couldn’t ask for more. Nice area to sunbath on roof, loved the pool to cool down (but don’t expect big size ) if your looking for the authentic Riad experience then book this place as it’s great value for money, I’ve stayed in more expensive riads and actually prefer this one !

We loved Le Bel Oranger! Nijab was extremely useful and friendly sorting our transfer to and from the airport, an amazing day trip with a lovely driver to the Ourika Valley and recommendations for the local area. All the staff were lovely and friendly and the room was very clean. The breakfast was lovely aswell and had a nice communal atmosphere! Could not recommend Le Bel Oranger more!

The property was basic but very good in location

The staff are very helpful and very accommodating specially Mohammad , Najib and the ladies in the kitchen can not remember there names they did a lot of things for us they tried to contact our activity coordinator for us when we are going to Agafay desert. It’s amazing how good people they are. Thank you very much for your hospitality it was excellent.
