Nice place in a quiet little nook of the old city in Marrakech. It's tucked away from the hustle of the main streets yet you can reach the souk in just a few minutes walk. There is a relaxing rooftop terrace and a pool (although we didnt use it as we were there in winter). The rooms are large, tasteful and well appointed and the staff is friendly and accomodating. Breakfast is OK as well. The beds are comfy!

Some more power outlets around the bed would have been welcome, and it's not always clear exactly what you will get for breakfast (parts of it seem to vary day to day). There is daily houskeeping that makes the bed but the sheets could have been changed more frequently. The place is a little far from the Jemaa el-Fna suqare (about 15 minutes walk) but the walk itself through the souk is nice! We didn't get the room we initially booked but it was more or less equivalent so we didn't make a point of it.

Helpful staff (guided us to bus station when we were leaving and around the city when we were there). Good location. Superb room service (cleaning). Good breakfast. We also had dinner one night, which was alright, cost 15€ per face.

When we were signing up for the room, the description said: "Balcony, Terrace, City view". To be clear, there is no balcony in the room. The terrace is not private, it is shared with other guests. Also calling what you can see from the terrace a city view is a bit of a stretch. While the breakfast was good, it was extremely cold where it was served (in the courtyard, in December), and there was only one heater for all the guests, and if you weren't the lucky one to get it, you had to freeze and eat.

we stay 7 nights, our first time in Marrakesh, location of riad is good, you can walk to almost every attraction and eateary, and the riad is in a relatively safe and quiet part of old town, you can book taxi, tour and meal from reception, which is helpful we have chicken tajine and it is very tasty, breadfast is included and is served hot and suffucient the host is kind hearted and helpful

the room is small, plain and with limited amenties, the information on booking.com is misleading in this regards

Very nice staff. Murat was very helpful upon our arrival. The rooftop terrace is cosy. The location was also quite nice

Not the greatest sound proofing through the doors and windows. One basically wakes up with the neighbors waking up and opening/clsoing their doors. Might be the case for other riads too, i dont know. The facilities list a swimming pool. Im pretty sure its the decorative pool in the middle theyre referring to. We werent really told it was open to swim. And no one was swimming during our stay either.

The location was excellent, very close to the city center, which made exploring Marrakech super easy. The staff was amazing—very welcoming and accommodating. They even let us have breakfast(Very good traditional breakfast) earlier than usual, which we really appreciated.

The only downside was the cleanliness, which was not up to European standards. More attention should definitely be given to this aspect. It would also be great if they provided slippers for guests because after walking around the room barefoot in white socks, they turned completely black.

We loved everything about this beautiful riad, the decor was amazingly beautiful, it was so delicate and ornate. The riad was spotless and cleaned every day. The breakfast was delicious and traditional and plentiful. Mohammad was a gentleman, he organised transport to and from the airport and escorted us to the taxi at 2am. All the staff were friendly, pleasant and smiley. We loved the rooftop garden and the stunningly pretty courtyard and fountains. Location to the souks, the Koutoubia and the medina was brilliant, so close. I would stay here again!

Nothing, it was excellent

First, we were very well treated by our driver from the airport to th riad, Walid (sorry if the name isn’t correct). Then, the way Wafa received us was just… perfect! She helped us with all the doubts we don’t even know we had and make us feel super safe here. And she gave us our first tea in Marrakesh! The conditions of the riad, our room and the terrace were good. The place is beautiful. Love at first sight! Even the pool that look really small in the pictures was ok. It served us very well! It gave us the perfect relaxe time to escape the hot weather of the streets in middle of july. The cleaning was also cool. Nothing to say about it. Also we really enjoy the traditional breakfast. It was just perfect! Can we come back just to have it again? And last but not least: All the people there were so so nice that make our stay very comfortable. Thanks to Wafa, Ayoub, Morad and Rachid we had the best experience! And we even could hear about their culture and have marrocain music recommendations. The cherry on the cake! Thank you so much 🥰

We can’t say anything bad about our experience in Riad Louaya.

In the middle of the old city, few minutes walk from the start of the souks. Friendly hosts, good breakfast with different dishes everyday. The room was also very good, and the beds were queen beds and a sofa bed, so ideal when there are 2 friends.

We were on the ground floor and near the breakfast area. We started hearing a lot of noises and commotion from the floor upstairs early at about 3am and also people chatting at the breakfast area (from 8:30am) while we were still sleeping ;(.

Wonderfully clean hotel. Beautiful riad in middle of medina. Close to main attractions. Once on main road going right towards city gates are lots of food stalls. Going left you can head to souks. The medressa was a highlight for us (must pay cash). Banks are close by to withdraw cash (they seem to allow a max of 2000 dirhams per day) but don't always have cash. We went to main square and got cash there (we saw at least 3 banks there, we had to queue and sometimes machines also ran out of cash...but were ultimately successful) You also need dirhams/euros to pay the hotel for the city tax and any taxi transfers. Glorious local breakfast. Local breads, pancakes with jam and butter. Sometimes omelette or fruit. Coffee and fresh juice. A real.treat.

Would have loved a slightly more comfortable bed and a desk in the room for work. But not a sure thing to get a desk in hotel any more, and we should have checked. Really great stay and fabulous value for money.

Riad Louaya is an oasis of tranquility, comfort, and silence. Upon entering from the hot, noisy city, you will find air refreshed by water and trees. The staff is kind, helpful, and very calm and easygoing. They assisted us with everything, advised us, and guided us. The rooms are comfortable and meticulously cleaned regularly. There is plenty of space in the common areas for sitting, and you can ask for tea and enjoy the peace and quiet. The breakfasts are modest but very tasty. For women desiring henna tattoos, you can choose from several catalogs or bring your own dream design. They use safe colors here, highly recommended! The accommodation is in a great location, situated at the entrance to the souk, close to the main square and attractions. Overall, we are very satisfied and recommend it!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation.
