Pros - good location, very easy to navigate in souk, straightforward route to Jema El Fna - super nice staff and helpful - the shared premises in riad are very nice, including terass

Cons - humid and small rooms, there is not space to store even the luggage - overpriced restaurant - long response time or no response from riad when communicating through booking or phone

I spent my first night in Marrakech here before going on a tour and I was not disappointed. The riad is beautifully decorated, very pretty and cozy, it’s located in a convenient area for drop-off and pick-up and the staff were very welcoming. The room I got was comfortable and perfect for me, everything functioned properly and the rooftop terrace was lovely. I had my dinner there after a fantastic sunset with the colors and sounds of the Marrakech medina. As I had to leave early in the morning, the staff arranged a little breakfast takeaway for me and helped me get to the meeting point for my trip.

If I had to complain about anything, it would be the loudness of other guests in the corridors. My neighbors had quite loud conversations across the hallway from one room to another in the evening, instead of literally just stepping closer to eachother and keeping their voices down a little. So absolutely no fault at all of the staff or management, just other people who don’t understand the concept of respect in these houses that are usually not soundproofed. That’s the character of a riad, I find it baffling how some guests don’t have more consideration.

The staff went out of their way to make my stay the best possible experience. Breakfast was good and with a great view on the rooftop. Very helpful in getting to/from airport and scheduling of activities.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel in Marrakesh! My parents and children stayed there, and they were absolutely delighted with everything—the warm hospitality, the attentiveness of the hosts, and the outstanding quality of service. A special thank you to Abdeljalil, who went above and beyond to make their stay perfect. His kindness, professionalism, and dedication truly made a difference, and I am incredibly grateful for all his help. If you’re looking for a place where you will feel welcomed and well taken care of, this is definitely the right choice. We highly recommend it and will surely return!

The friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere. A beautiful Riad and perfect location. 5 min walk to the main square. I will book again, for longer next time. Thanks and we will miss you Marrakech.

A bit noisy the cleaning early morning

The staff in Riad Samir are very welcoming. They will make sure that you receive the best treatment while in Marrakech. I personally interacted with Omar, Badar, Abduljalla, Anas.. Pardon me for any wrong name spelling . They have arranged the breakfast even out of their schedule . Suggested the best luxury hotel for Sahara Desert safari which was cheaper than what I got in Viator. The food Rfissa, Tagine with prune and Lamb, .. I couldn't thank much for this. The hotel Riad Samir has my heart.

We loved everything about our stay! Our room was perfect for the two of us and was cleaned every day when we got back in the evening. The breakfast was delicious every morning on the peaceful terrace. But the best part of our stay was the staff. We haven’t experienced anything like it, they were so helpful and friendly and made you feel like family as soon as we arrived, a special thank you to Omar who helped us with everything throughout our stay to book excursions, drivers and helped us whenever we needed! I would also recommend booking the Hamam spa treatment on your last day it was amazing. 10/10 stay

Beautiful Riad. Everything was clean and looked like the pictures shown. Do not hesitate to book here, we loved our visit and will be back! The location is very great, right next to the Ben Salah Mosque which was a good point to put into maps so you don’t get lost, 10 minute walk to the square. We want to give a special shout out to Hachem and Omar, but overall every single member that worked here was friendly, always open to have a chat with you and talk to you and help with anything you needed, thank you for making our trip so special❤️🙏🏼

Nothing bad to say. We did get woken up once by the morning prayer call, but we did not see this as a negative, embrace the culture here and get up at least once at sunrise to listen to the prayer call. It’s a magical experience
