I loved this Riad, it was a perfect little oasis, cool, calm and quiet. There was little birds living in the inner court yard of the Riad, they were free to leave but they seemed to like enjoy it there. I really liked the two cheerful cleaning ladies who gave me coffee in the mornings. I really liked the room, the old fashioned brass bed and nice fabrics on the bed, it had everything I needed. I really was captivated by how the Riad looked, the beautiful marble floor in the inner yard, the intricate mosaics, the beautifully painted tiles, the ornate woodwork and all the original features like the doors and the windows. The furniture was perfect suited to the surrounding. The roof terrace is the pièce de résistance, an absolutely stunning view over the bay of Tangier at night and I had it all to myself...beautiful!

Very friendly staff and a beautiful building. Breakfast was also really good and filling with a variety of western and local pastries, fresh fruits, juice and mint tea. The location of the stay is also great, very central with lots of markets and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend requesting a pickup as the driver will then take you to the stay as it's a bit hard to find the first time.

Some of the bedsheets and towels had small stains but not really a big deal. The bed frame though could be changed or fixed as it was very squeaky everytime you slightly moved.

The staff was so kind and flexible. They would arrange taxis for us whenever we needed them. They gave us the typical moroccan breakfast everyday and even let us eat couscous in the terrace. It has beautiful views upstairs. Gills and Fatima were so kind to us and so willing to help.

The only thing i would say its that its a little bit loud, the doors make really big squeaky noises and that can wake you up in the middle of the night

It is the real thing! Such a gem. In the heart if old town Tangier, literally walking in to history as you enter, though an acent door. The interior is original, old repaired and rustic. I loved the quirky rooms, felt like you were staying in a historic home, so full of charm, very clean. Staff were brilliant and helpful. Breakfast perfect, room unique.

Breakfast which we found to be perfect for our needs (fresh orange juice mint tea/ coffee, fresh fruit, honey, jams/ wide selction of bread based items), is served on roof terrace, a number of flights of stairs. The rooms are full of charm and if you love real rustic this is for you, if you prefer 'fake hotel rustic' this may not suit. I would 100% return and recommend to like minded friends.

location is great, but alot of walking and not great if you have too many bags. You will need to familiarize yourself with the route to find your way back. It is right in the thick of things. Great food and shopping on your doorstep. Rooms are authentic. Nothing fancy in the room but has everything you need. My room had an ensuite , some rooms had a separate bathroom , which was not in your room

no mirror in the room only very small mirror in the bathroom.

The hotel was exceptional - located in the heart of the old medina, it is truly an oasis. It looks like a beautiful palace, and is decorated like so! Also, the breakfast was exceptional - handmade moroccan breads and sweets with local jams, honey and cheeses accompanied by simply the best moroccan tea. The owners were really nice and warm.

The sheets of the bed had some stains and were not really clean. Also, I don't recommend this riad for people with handicaps or disabled people as it is in the center of the medina and can only be reached by walking, and there are quite a few stairs. I recommend booking a guide to help you get to the riad the first day, as our taxi left us in the Kashbah (further than that you can only access the medina by foot), and we were completely lost for 2h in the medina searching for the riad. Google maps won't help either as the Medina's streets are confusing and not registered within the app.

A fabulous Riad, very well located. Breakfast on the terrace was gorgeous & the owners were very friendly, helpful & welcoming.

The stairs are extremely steep. It would be difficult for anyone with even slight mobility issues.

The riad is absolutely beautiful! Center of all the action in the medina. Hosts were welcoming and place was clean/gets cleaned daily. Wifi is good depending where in the riad you are. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely. Do note that while the bathroom private, it is not ensuite (not connected to your room).

Wifi can be spotty depending where in the riad you are. Otherwise great connection.
