Outstanding, wonderful location with super views over Windhoek, large comfortable rooms, all the staff are friendly and helpful particularly Martin in the bar/restaurant. I arrived very early and was given a room immediately which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was very good and the on site restaurant was excellent for dinner. There is a nice shaded swimming pool to relax but the best thing is the air of serenity from the moment you drive through the gate. I would 100% recommend.

I had a wonderful stay, the rooms were spacious with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The views from the restaurant and property live up to the expectations, The manager was fantastic,, very attentive and provided great hospitality. Friendly staff and security.

I generally do not like carpets in hotel rooms, and the air conditioning unit was quite old and made noise even in sleep mode.

This was a "last minute" booking. We booked a 7 day southern Namibia tour and booked rooms before and after the tour at a backpacker's lodge. Unfortunately that had appalling conditions. So after an uncomfortable first night we canceled the last night and booked Thule instead. We were so glad we did! The room was huge. Other than the bed there was generous seating area and there was also a desk with electrical points, a tv, coffee and tea drinks are and a fridge. The bathroom was also big with both shower and tub. I don't usually soak in a tub but after days of camping this was a welcomed rest and relaxation. I know there is a water shortage in Namibia so I didn't fill the tub that much. Just enough for a relaxing soak after 7 days on the go. There were toiletries and the hot water was adequate. The hotel has a restaurant on site with sweeping views of the city, being situated on top of the hill. We just had to try the Oryx steak, it is something new. Sadly the taste was nondescript, not gamey enough and way too tough. We asked for medium done. Maybe rare or medium rare might be better. The dessert we ordered turned out to be just full of sweet jelly. I can't remember the name. See pictures. Breakfast had quite a spread and most are sumptuous. The staff was very helpful everywhere, making sure we were comfortable and attended to our needs. They even granted us a late check out without charge from 10am to 1230pm, as our flight out was very late in the afternoon. At check out they helped us contact our tour operator to ensure our transfer to the airport. We enjoyed our stay very much. This was definitely value for money. Will stay here again if I come back to Windhoek. Thank you Team Thule!

The hotel is centrally located with a beautiful view of Windhoek. The rooms are MASSIVE and very well equipped.

The bar fridge was not in working order in the room, which was a bit funny as it was plugged in. The aircon unit was old and not particularly powerful which is not ideal in Windhoek. While the wifi signal was excellent across the property, the wifi strength was lacking, however I do not think this is something the hotel can improve, I think the wifi is what it is.

The area is very quiet and it overlooks the city, which is awesome for sunsets. The staff at the reception was very nice and helpful, they made me a breakfast pack as my transfer was fairly early in the morning. The food at the restaurant was good, I was satisfied and would recommend this place to other people. The room is comfortable and big enough!

The water in the bathroom isn't clear straight away (which can happen), so just be aware of that when you shower. Apart from that, nothing negative to say!

I was amused by the hotel location. Very calm and peaceful and you can see the city from above as bonus. The staff is helpful, kind and very welcoming. The breakfast is wonderful with a bunch of options including healthy food.

The lunch and dinner menu at the restaurant was out my league. There were few choices available but maybe the problem is the country sugar based diet because almost everything has a sweet sauce in it.

Everything from breakfast, Wi-Fi, the room itself the service all friendly people they did make me feel at home i did really like the stay i dont even regret any cent i spend with you is really worth it.

Nothing everything was excellent i didnt notice anything that i didnt like i had a good experience with my stay, especially the area was very clean and excellent i will like to stay with you again when i come back.

The location is awesome 👌 especially the sunsets. The staff are very friendly, cooperative, and professional. The food is excellent.

The breakfast is a tad bit monotonous, and the bottled water is a bit salty. They can consider changing the water supplier.

Staff were very helpful and caring, The Management very engaging and always asking how i was throughout my stay at The Hotel Thule. Will always recommend to friends and family even work colleagues travelling over to Windhoek, to stay the Thule

This Hotel is excellent! The staff are very welcoming, professional and helpful. The view is amazing and the food is lovely. You can eat breakfast and dinner out on the terrace or in the rondell, which has an awesome city hill view. The rooms are big, clean and quiet. If you are looking for a break from rural camping or just a comfertable reliable accomodation, this is the place to go. I was very glad I stayed here and would gladly return next time!
