It is a long list of things I liked at "Avataar". It's not just its location/excellent value for money/great facilities in the Apartment/the cleanliness of the room/ the good sized balcony/the bathroom facilities: excellent/the good size and comfortable bed/ the added 'small' things: good lighting/good extra writing tables/good sized refrigerator/kettle/ great Wi-Fi speed/excellent food in their Restaurant/ plenty of seating /instant contact with Reception /tea and sugar provided/ good shower pressure. But it is ALL the staff who make all these things available and maintained. Because of their genuine care your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as is possible. They go out of their way, to make you feel instantly 'at home'. Traveling in a foreign Country only makes your trip that much more fun and enjoyable. I cannot praise the staff enough. They deserve all and most of the credit for making "Avataar" the success it is. I booked a second time after a trip to Pokhara. I would not stay anywhere else, from now on. I only hope that the Management of the "Avataar" appreciates the staff as much as I have. I wish them and "Avataar" all the success it fully deserves.

The location of the hotel and the kindness of all the staff. The manager, Mr Swansee was helpful providing lots of information about the country, people and help to organize my thoughts about Nepal (big thank to him). Miss Rachana Deukota was amazing helping to make my stay comfortable, providing information and proposing solutions, My wife and I adored her and her kindness. We where extremely happy with everybody in the hotel from the door man to the cleaners to the restaurant team. wonderful staff, if we will have a second chance to visit Nepal we will be choosing this hotel again. I enjoyed the fact that it is super close to the area where there are alot of buzzes. The most epic moment of my stay were highlighted by the effectivity and efficiency of their excellent service to their clients. They're hospitable and I feel at home during my 3 nights stay. Bonus part, the lady in the receptionist desk took care of my luggage. It did overall exceeded my expectations. Again, am very blessed to meet amazing people and they'd add colors to my trip. I'll definitely come back whenever I get a chance one day.

I observed that the area is quiet and no roaming taxis everytime you came down. You need to walk 1-2 mins to grab one or ask them to do it for you. And I also got pissed with the electricity gone on and off the very day i arrived. It can be expected anytime. I also see that the price is good however some amenities required update.I am not too picky but overall it was satisfactory for me. The tv box did not work as well, but luckily they'd promptly address the issue.

Good afternoon! I stayed at this hotel in early January. I'll start with the staff. Very friendly and caring people, thank you for your care and comfort. I would especially like to mention the manager of the Nabin Hotel! I helped with booking comfortable bus tickets to Pokhara. Always in touch and ready to solve any situation! The room meets expectations, the prices are normal. I've arranged breakfast, you won't stay hungry.

There are no complaints. The accommodation was comfortable and convenient!

The staff here are amazing! They are very accommodating and will do whatever they can to make sure you have a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and include a bottle of water each day. The location is convenient for access to restaurants, bars and lots of shopping (very touristy area).

Thamel is a very busy area and street noise starts early and doesn't stop until quite late, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway this isn't it, but if you're looking for fun and vibrancy this area is perfect!

Everything fabulous! I have stayed in Nepal multiple times over the few years and in cities namely Kathmandu, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Dailekh. I must admit my stay at Avataar has been one of the best so far. Even in the current COVID climate the hotel staff did their best to make our stay pleasurable. The room was spacious with balcony and it had all the amenities such as microwave, fridge, heater, locker etc. The water was hot and AC heater was in good order. Neat clean room with very good room service. Breakfast was excellent and my favourite was “puri bhaji” Iwhich I definitely recommend. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The director Jagdish was such a humble gentleman who treated us as his own family. From reception to the kitchen, staff were excellent and I particularly thank the great chef & housekeeping staff. I highly recommend this facility and will definitely stay here again.

Nothing to dislike, but clarify about the daily room services.Towards the end I was advised that they usually service the room few times a week.

I'm really glad that I stayed in this hotel. The staff members gave me a very warm welcome on arrival and they were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My executive suite was very spacious and really lovely for the price. The bed was also super comfortable. The location was also very convenient to get to local attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at the Avataar Kathmandu Hotel! The room was very clean and the breakfast was well balanced. The staff was super friendly and helpful and on hand at any time of the day or night for questions and requests. There is even a small tourism center that plans day trips and even whole week trips. There was something for everyone. A big thank you to Rachana and Sandesh. We will be back!

Great location in the heart of Thamel. The staff were amazing and helped us with booking a driver for the day for us to explore many sights in and around the city. Breakfast was also decent. The great staff is what really made our stay here!

Not the most brand new hotel but even though it was basic, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

First thing on arrival,was the bright smile of the reception team,which made you realize you were going to enjoy your stay.,The first morning at breakfast, I met 2 of the owners,who are so friendly, and interacted with their guest,and as I observed treated their staff really well.The guys in the restaurant were friendly, and when possible I was able to have a good talk with them.House keeping staff were friendly and on return to my room at the end of the day the room was spotlessly clean..I certainly will return to this hotel in the future.
