Hotel room was really nice and i get complimentary breakfast which was very delicious. Location is also in peace and quite area even though hotel is located in thamel - tourist hub. Staffs are also friendly and helpful.

The rooms are appropriately sized and equipped with basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Interiors reflect touches of Nepal culture and traditions. The decor is subtle and not overwhelming. Spacious cabinets and wardrobes offering plenty of storage for long stays. The bathroom has ample space, reliable hot water, and strong water pressure. The in-house dining option is limited but their Nepali Thali Set is so good, it will truly give you the feeling that it is home-cooked and very authentic. The staff in general are friendly and attentive. One of its owners, Jeshon provided us with personalized airport transfer service.

One of the night staff members could benefit from additional hospitality training to enhance guest interaction.

Overall, Satkar Boutique Hotel offers great value for money, especially considering its central location, peaceful and safe atmosphere, and the warm hospitality. It is a good choice for travelers who want to experience Thamel's lively energy, while enjoying the comfort of a tranquil, well-maintained boutique hotel.

I know that they can improve and develop comprehensive in-house dining services and options. They truly have a culinary potential in traditional Nepali cuisine.

Food & shopping was very convenient. Staff were all very courteous & helpful. Mr Rupak at front desk/reception is friendly & accommodating. Takes feed backs very attentively & seriously and ensures guest is happy with their accomodation.

Daily opening of the hotel shutters in the morning, around 6:45am, were quite noisy. Toilet has no exhaust/ventilation fan and after a hot shower the mirror fogs up & it doesn't smell good.

It is one of the best places that we have stayed in the last 3 years. The staff were exceptional. They are very professional, polite, and very humble. The hotel is in the heart of Kathmandu with easy access to all attractions, city nightlife, shopping, and good restaurants. The room was very clean, and the bed was huge and comfortable. Everything in the room worked as they should. Highly recommended.

big rooms, very nice bathroom and the shower is just stunning. the hotel is located in a very quiet backstreet but also close to alp Thamel Attractions, shops and restaurants. The staff was always smiling and helpful. the breakfast was very good and the even made individual wished come true. always would come back! thank you
