Great hotel, lovely staff. Nice and modern and a short walk from the centre of Almere. Bonus to have their own parking under the hotel - I stayed somewhere else on my previous trip and parking was an issue so this is important to me!! Room very comfortable and facilities good, especially the shower which was excellent. As a Brit , I appreciated that the TV has BBC1 and BBC2!!

The breakfast was a bit of an issue. I didn't include this in my package and when I showed up to get breakfast on a couple of days, I was advised I would have to go down to reception to pay in advance. This is clearly not great and not the normal practice at other hotels I have used where you can pay in the breakfast room. The staff didn't even have a computer and had to refer to a paper based list and then phone reception - in 2023 this seems a bit rubbish to be honest!!!

We had a room at the 14th floor, very quiet and with a nice view. Breakfast was pricey but very good. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Direct access to parking. Right by train station, and 15 minutes walk from city centre. I could check in early, very much appreciated. Everything was very clean.

Couldn't even get a coffee early in the morning of race day. Even though I had booked very much in advance, the price was very high at about 330 euro per night for our family of four, and that's not counting breakfast.

We had two rooms, family room with a small kitchenette including living room with sofabed and bed room and a tub in the bath room. The room was quite big. Very nice and quite a big freezer. The other room was smaller but in the corner of the house so nice light room with a specific small living area with sofa. Very nice and comfortable. Next to the hotel was spar to buy something to eat. The railway station was just next to the hotel. We were able to take the dog with extra charge of 15€ and parking garage for 15€ per 24h. Very nice hotel and only 30min to Amsterdam by train.

The hotel personnel wasn't very friendly. The breakfast was about 18€/person plus the room price which were 390€ for two rooms. So for five persons it would have been 100€ for breakfast which we didn't take. We would have wanted to take one breakfast for a person with celiac disease, but you should have ordered gluten free breakfast many days before to be able to get other than fruits for breakfast for 18€. This should have been mentioned in the details.

Almere worked out to be a great location for us to try to recover from jet lag after flying into Amsterdam from the U.S. It has a direct train connection from Schiphol Airport, and this hotel is right next to the train station. And the city is a "new town" with all modern buildings and generous pedestrian areas with plenty of shopping opportunities. It's like living in a shopping mall. We did not have to fight the tourist crush of Amsterdam

We skipped the expensive hotel breakfast and ate nearby instead

We had a great trip and enjoyed the area close to the hotel.

Some confusion on the breakfast side. The price seemed a bit high for a limited breakfast buffet. We paid for breakfast on the first day thinking we had paid for the entire stay and went to breakfast the second day. I had checked with staff to ensure we were good to go They informed us that we were good and after we had started eating they informed us that we need to pay again. I spoke to the staff and they explained it was a miscommunication on their end.

position close to Almere Central Station. easy to reach Amsterdam Central Station by train takes 20 minutes. Inter-city train 1 every 30 minutes. car park very confortable 15 Euro per day. at our arrival personnel could satisfy our reservation request of kitchenette and they changed the room twice. very much appreciated from our side. breakfast all right!!! People very kind and friendly!

furniture of kitchenette is very basic. suggestion for improvement, please add: soap + sponge to wash dishes, botte opener (necessary since I needed to buy and left in the room). Also a hood is necessary in order to limit the cooking smell (Windows can not be opened due to building height). fridge needs to be secured and screwed up to the kitchen base.

Stayed for 3 nights and had to ask to clean the family room. But the stuff was very busy to do so as we were told at the reception. On the 3rd day bedlinen was changed but not the towels. But the room is very spacious and all the utensils and other things are ready to be used. We liked the stay. 3 minutes to the railway station.

The location is super convenient next to the train station. Despite this, the area is quiet and there was no outside noise in the room. Can be used as a base for sightseeing, as it's easy to get into central Amsterdam with frequent trains. We stayed there to visit Floriade 2022. We had a family room with four beds, which was big enough.

The pillows are terrible, and the beds, though comfortable enough, get dishevelled really easily, with the mattress topper sliding a bit off.

Great Location, right next to the station and downtown. Large room with a selection of comfy chairs tables and lots of storage space. Climate control and everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Bathroom had a fantastic shower. Staff were friendly but not intrusive, Free luggage store and interesting pictures of the towns creation in the lift areas.

There were no negatives. I would book this hotel again, without thinking.

Great location, right next to the station, but not noisy, big spacious room. The room was cleaned very well and made up each day really well. Staff very friendly, the only down side was that the pool and pool area was closed, not sure if you were able to get to the gym as this was through the main door to the outside pool area. Train to Amsterdam central in under 30 mins, Amere has plenty to offer also.
