Everything. Choosing Almere to visit Amsterdam was a great success. Very quiet city with large spaces and modern buildings, lots of shops, bars and restaurants just steps from the hotel. The hotel is very modern, very spacious, well-lit rooms and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was excellent, with instant hot water. Very friendly staff, they surprised me with an upgraded room. About a 15-minute walk away is the Almere Centrum train station, and after 20 minutes you are in Amsterdam Central.

Probably own parking. Although there is paid municipal underground parking just below the hotel with a direct elevator to the hotel.

Nice room, clean linen, coffee machine, big tv, nice gel, parking, good location, friendly reception and floor staff. Really recommend.

Check in only after 15:00 and at the same time a queue is formed and there is a shift change of staff. you can distribute this queue through early check-in The parking payment machine did not sell a subscription for a day and had to pay separately for each exit. paid instead of 11.23 about 20 euro for less then 16 hours. also came an email, which additionally asked for check in and to pay the city tax, which was already paid through booking. it was not clear why I need to enter credit card details on your site again and pay 7.5 euro one more time. old dust on the wall where the TV hangs

It was a fantastic experience! The room was really modern and clean. We got a free room upgrade and were surprised to find an air hockey table in the room, which was a lot of fun. They also provided free drinks like beer, Fanta, and coffee in the room. It had everything we needed and a great view of Ijsselmeer.

They don't have free parking. You have to use the public parking garage right under the hotel, which costs €12 per day. The cleaning could be better; we found some things left by previous guests, like a razor blade, paperclip, and an entrance pass.

It is not the first time that I am here , and first one was great , and this one is just better, The hotel has amazing location the view from the entrance is shocking beautiful. Workers were helpful in anyway possible and the room was great. I really enjoyed the bath and sleeping was dreamy and all the decoration is so well designed. You really feel here that you are in a top class property. Did I mention there was a coffee machine in the room. Just too good to be real.

Breakfast was bad. Actually, I felt as there is nothing to eat. I do not to offend anyone , since I am always so happy to visit this country and to meet such excellent people but it seems that there is some general problem all over Netherlands regarding food. I do not know what to tell you, just go one day to see how is the breakfast in some simple hotel in Cyprus or Poland and see for yourself how breakfast is served.

Super friendly staff, great location, fresh room, nice view, clean renovated bathroom, large space in the room,

Would be amazing to have the slippers/bath robe in the room/maybe toothbrush/paste, would be great to have a socket in the toilet where you could plug the hair straightener(there was a socket, but only for shaver), bottle of water in the fridge would be super( maybe it was forgotten to place, not a big deal)

The building is honestly amazing. Great decoration, very artistic and modern lobby, also staff and crew are helpful and friendly. Rooms are large and clean, bathrooms fully equipped, beds are comfortable, temperature control in the room works perfectly and the beds are just great. Seems there is no external noise that enters the room. The location is just in the city center , few meters from the lake. After such explanation, there is no doubt the Leonardo Almira is a great choice.

Three comments a. When I reached my room , with free early check-in that I am grateful, I saw a note that says "dial 9 for the reception", I dialed and there was nothing. b. They have big underground perking and in those prices, it should be free for the guests. c. Breakfast was typical for this country and it means very basic, not rich with no serious options.

Over the weekend my boyfriend and I were staying in this hotel. It was a lovely weekend away and just fitted the bill for us completely. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room surpassed exceptions especially given the fact we only paid for €300.00 room the whole weekend. It was in a wonderfully convenient location next to lots of shops and restaurants but also it somehow managed to stay quite at night which was a blessing. The food was exceptional and well worth the price. Very good experience overall.

The mini fridge appeared to be broken. This did not take away from the overall experience. Not much negative to say to be honest.

The location could not have been more perfect for our needs -- just a short walk to the ferry to go over to the Floriade, also to restaurants and the train station was within walking distance as well. Breakfast was good, varied for most every taste; rooms were nice size; hotel was clean; restaurant staff was wonderful, very friendly and fun; desk staff was uneven in the friendly department, some quite friendly, some not so much. We appreciated the hotel's sustainability measures and its reasonable rates. This is an older hotel, built probably in maybe the 90s?, but has been well maintained. Interesting architecture, so easy to spot.

The bed was OK, but ready for replacement. The room and bathroom were nice size and we had a view of the lake, but they had the tiniest trashcans ever. I know this sounds picky, but they were quite insufficient and annoying. We also couldn't figure out the logic of the light switches -- bedside switches turned on the oddest things. Also, for old people, the bathtub is high-sided, so hard to get in and out of. None of our complaints should stop you from enjoying your stay here -- we'd come back again.

Rooms were very nice and great location next to lots of shops and a short walk to the train station. Breakfast was also good with a lot of options however the eggs were pretty runny.

It is right over a bar/restaurant which we did not realize prior to booking and they played music pretty late into the night on the weekend. It did not keep us up but someone sensitive to noise may not appreciate.

We liked the location and the facilities. Instead of staying in Amsterdam , you can stay here and take a train to Amsterdam or any other place as the train station is just a little walk away. Hotel itself was really neat and clean and the staff was good. There is an excellent bar just at the doorstep of hotel.

View is great. Lake is just in front of you. You have a good place to walk, either to the shopping malls or to the serene beach. We even extended our stay.
