Pretty, comfortable and spacious room. A bit unusual hotel - top three floors in the building, but we liked it, it offered a beautiful view over channels and the city. Twenty minutes ride by tram to the Central station was very convenient. The staff was really nice and helpful.

I didn't like the payment policy. I don't mind paying before the arrival, but the way the hotel manages is weird, to say the least. They made a reservation on my credit card, but I also had to pay via the link the hotel sent to me. So I've already been at home and my bank will keep the money reserved for another 10 days ( as all reservations are kept for 14 days). And we didn't get any info about this in advance. It's just inadmissible practice.

The view was awesome

There were no bathrobe nor slippers as it had mentioned this will be provided. I guess also breakfast e d time was not mentioned when he had first checked in and we had also had forgotten to see it written in the walls near the check-in wr had missed it by 10mins, a refund could have been provided. The reception staff just seemed to have had attitude with everything for some reason, when I had spoke about the robe, slippers not breakfast, don't know this might have been just her normal body language but the service was new to me. I've have had better. Overall not a bad place

all great, loved the staff, the breakfast the room is clean and comfy. loved it.

entrance and lift is a disaster ... dirty, never cleaned, and shabby. if i didn't know the hotel is actually ok i would immediate rebook elsewhere. staff: please do something about the lift. it's not up to your standards.

Room was clean. Beds very comfy. My expectations were quite low because of some of the reviews (g maps and booking) but it turned out ok. Probably I would rate it more of a 3 star hotel, even pricewise. If you need something in the area, it's a good pick, but as a tourist, I would look more central.

Location might be inconvenient. For me it was perfect as I had meetings in the area, but if you're a tourist, you'll rely on a tram, rented bike or taxi(especially after 01:00AM, when the tram doesn't work anymore). The hotel is located in upper floors and there is no terrace to have a smoke. If you want to smoke, you have to go down.

September 2023

The room was quiet, comfortable and clean, with a wonderful view. The bathroom and toiletries were great and there was tea, coffee, water and beer in the room. The breakfast was good, with lots of choice, and the serving staff were lovely. I particularly appreciated the free fruit, biscuits, water, tea and coffee that were available at any time in the reception area. It was a convenient tram ride (No 26) into the city center. I will stay here the next time I am in Amsterdam.

The bed was too soft for me and I couldn't find any international channels on the tv. I received multiple, slightly aggressive, messages asking me to pay beforehand or my reservation would be canceled and informing me that the payment would not be made automatically however I ended up with a double payment (mine and an automatic one). While there was no problem with having one of them refunded I did not appreciate the attitude of the reception staff. Also when I asked about restaurants in the area I was told they would all be closed on a Tuesday evening but I found a lovely Italian place (La Bruschetta) nearby. I think the reception staff should be better informed about the area.

My stay at this hotel was quite pleasant. We spent 4 days there, and overall, I have positive feedback, along with a few areas that could be improved upon. Positives: The hotel's location is ideal, as it's just 15 minutes away from Central station. The easy access to tram 26, which arrives every 10 minutes and takes you to the city centre, was very convenient. The tram station's proximity to the hotel is a definite plus. The hotel is situated in a charming neighborhood, offering lovely views of the nearby lake from the windows. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The level of cleanliness in the hotel was commendable, earning an 8 out of 10 from me. Areas for Improvement: One area of concern was the price, which I found to be a little bit expensive at 180 Euro per night, taxes included. Unfortunately, the fridge in our room was not functional, which was inconvenient. Additionally, when booking our stay, we had requested a room with one large bed. However, upon arrival, we were provided with two separate beds that we had to combine ourselves. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was positive, and I would consider staying here again if the price becomes more reasonable and the mentioned concerns are addressed.

I highly recommend this accommodation located in Amsterdam: it's about a 10-minute tram ride from the central train station. The tram runs every 10 minutes and operates until 12:30 AM (Amsterdam public transportation one day ticket costs 9 euros). The hotel is conveniently situated near the city ring, not in the exact city center but offers excellent parking conditions (I arrived at 4:30 PM until 9:00 AM the next day, costing 10 euros). The rooms are on the 7th and 8th floors and offer a lake view. The staff is friendly, providing a lot of useful information proactively. They even kept us acompany to our room after check-in (a service I haven't encountered in European hotels for many years). The lobby provides free , still/sparkling water, and fruits. The room's fridge also includes complimentary bottled water. This Amsterdam hotel offers a surprisingly high value for its very competitive price.MR SOUF who works at reception desk is fantastic! He is really professional. Happy that the hotel has this kind of wonderful staff.

The bath in the room was really nice. Breakfast was delicious and all the time you could see the staff coming and checking if something is needed. The view from the rooms is amazing and the neighborhood quiet, so after all day in busy city centre it was really comforting to have some quiet time.

The smell outside of the rooms (in the halls) in the evenings. It is clean, you can easily notice that but the smell gives different ideas. In the description was "spa bath" but in the room we had really cute but not spa, bath - not a huge problem though. The bed, was actually two mattresses which seemed to be deformed since all night i had a feeling like I was sliding towards the middle of it

I knew they were only on the top three floors of the building. It was easy to get to the 8th-floor reception because of good signs. A tram station was just two minutes away. I checked in late in the afternoon and it was fast. The staff showed me my room which was clean and comfy. It had a fridge too. The room temperature can be adjusted (cool or heat). The breakfast was good. They also have free coffee and fruits in the reception all day. The city centre was easy to reach and there are many restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores nearby.

The shower area in the bathroom needs a compact barrier to keep water from reaching the toilet.

May 2023

Check-in was swift, as was check-out. The 24h reception desk allows for early travelers, like me, to check out when it's most convenient. Complimentary drinks were available in the minibar at no extra cost, and the view was incredible. Shower amenities were available, such as gel and shower caps.

The bathroom design, and lack of a shower curtain, causes the entire bathroom to nearly flood when showering. Finding the entrance can be a bit tricky, the first time, due to the lack of signage (it's a door on the back right corner of the building, when coming from the tram stop). The price was... okay, considering the city at hand, but this is hardly 4 stars, at least in concept. No room service, no minibar refills (even at a cost, no such service exists).
