The hotel is nice with friendly and helpful staff. The bed actually has a foldable mattress, which is super cool. There is even a small balcony with a small desk in my room, perfect for me to work on my laptop. Their breakfast provides breads, ham & cheese, cereals, coffee, juice and boiled eggs (you have to cook it yourself with the cute egg boiler though). The hotel provides city bikes to rent for 12.5e per day. Unfortunately, even the smallest ones are a bit oversized for me (I'm 160cm, my bad XD).

However, please note that the stairs is quite steep, not friendly to those with heavy luggages. Both bathroom and shower are shared, but always kept clean and nice.

The personel was very kind and attentive, they let me keep my luggage inside for a longer time while I kept exploring the city on my last day. The rooms and bathroom were very clean and organized. The location is also pretty good and close to the center of the city (you can also pick the Metro which drops you in Rokin in just a couple of minutes). They are also very kind enough to give you a map of the city and a list of their recommended destinations in case this is the first time you visit.

If I had to say something, there were some TV channels which weren't working at all, then again I barely used the TV during my stance so it didn't affect me.

Great location, interesting neighbourhood. Old Amsterdam traditional house. Really friendly greeting, helpful staff. We had cycled over 90km to Amsterdam that day ! They had good secure bike storage. Lovely relaxing garden (allowed to smoke there). Breakfast was good, coffee, eggs, cereal, toast and spreads (but lacked fruit and nuts - so we bought our own form supermarket). Excellent ice cream shop on corner. Everything you need nearby. A couple of metro stops from the centre. Felt good to be in real traditional neighbourhood in a relaxed and well-run place.

The room was very small ! And on the top, 4th, floor up the traditional steep stairs ( i guess this is how the Dutch make up for lack of hills!). Not ideal after cycling all day ! But we knew we had opted to stay in an old house - but if you find climbing stairs hard due to health or mobility issues, then maybe request a first floor room, as there was no indication of the steepnees of stairs when we booked. This is normal style for these old houses though. The Price seemed average for Amsterdam (it just is an expensive city for accommodation). No air-con, a fan was provided. But I guess usually not usually hot enough to need it, but it was a little warm in the room. Some more breakfast variety esp. having some nuts and fruit would be good.

Bicycle Hotel is a cosy, friendly, and affordable hotel in the heart of the hip district Pijp, connecting you super well by metro to Zoud (trains to the airport, The Hague, and more!) and Amsterdam Centraal. The hotel staff is lovely and super helpful: happy to chat, give tips for your city visit and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are well-equipped with everything you may need (including a sink and plenty of storage space), and super well-maintained bathroom and shower rooms are easily available on every floor. It's my second time at Bicycle, and I have never had to wait in line for either toilet or shower, so do not let that scare you!

The STAFF! Cheerful, friendly, helpful - and whizzes with the computer (which EVERYTHING has to be done by!) from weather to museum cards and reservations - I am a total klutz with those things. AND the breakfast, which had everything you could imagine and in constant supply.

Storage space in the room was not optimal - but there wasn't much space to begin with - and what there is was very pleasant - with nice view of the "garden", spacious backyards, building opposite with cat, and sky beyond.

We were allowed to store our luggage during a gap in our accomodation schedule. When we changed our travel plans and decided to extend our stay at Bicycle Hotel, we were offered “the apartment over the road”. It was fantastic, clean, self contained, relaxing environment with everything we needed. It even had a view. The apartment was generally reserved for friends of the proprietor so we felt very privileged to have this offer. Easy access and only 1 floor to climb. Breakfast (gluten free)still included and accomodation charged at same rate as double bedroom wth bathroom in the main hotel

Could hear the tenant above (heavy footed) late at night but with ear plugs it didn’t matter

Isa who checked me in and Storm who provided the bikes were incredible. Such nice people with a smile and great service. It was great to have bikes for a price. They even made some exceptions for me because I had a late flight and they kept my bags and allowed me to keep the bikes until late. Location was perfect 10 min bike ride to city centre, great restaurants and bars next to the hotel and a nice park too. Staff was very cool.

Shared bathroom could've been a bit cleaner.

The staff were so friendly, and not just in the fake way a lot of workers are, but in a genuine, kind and caring way. They were so helpful and left me with no questions about the service being ran at Bicycle Hotel. The room was great and I got more than what I expected. They have a lovely outdoor seating area with a roof, perfect for smoking or just chilling out in general. The shared bathroom and shower were both really well kept and very clean.

I don’t think there was anything I didn’t like about my stay there.

Super friendly, tasty breakfast, good service (I wanted a pillow change and also some local info- both, no problem). Great location for RAI exhibition hall (15 minute walk).

Heating wasn't working. I was told it would be fixed one evening. It wasn't. Not a big deal but I had some damp clothes so not great. Rooms are a bit tired, clean but lacking a bit of love. For the price they could be more "interesting". Could it be that the hotel does so well they are cruising a bit.

Hotel is in a beautiful and popular district. But street is calm and quiet. Room, all hotel, even common toilets were very clean and smells good. Beds are comfortable and they provide two seperate blanket to couples which is great. Wc and shower has a modern technology ane also very clean. Hotel staff is very helpful and kind.

Beds are slightly indented but still comfortable. Stairs are Amsterdam standard which is thigh and steep. Not a problem but be ready 😊
