My stay at this boutique hotel in Amsterdam was an outstanding experience. Camilla, the host, was extraordinary in her hospitality. The breakfast provided is far beyond ordinary, making one feel like a monarch returning home after years of exploration. The rooms are beautifully crafted to transport you to a bygone era, emanating the essence of artists who once worked and resided there. Additionally, its location offers excellent access to the city center, major museums, and the airport.

Camilla is the most gracious host I’ve ever met and one of the loveliest people you’ll meet. I wanted to stay somewhere very special for my 50th and this was it! She really goes out of her way to make the experience amazing and took it to the next level by giving me a personal gift on my special day. I audibly gasped when I walked into our room- this is a one of a kind place, hostess that I won’t forget!

Nothing. Just be aware that it’s a bit outside of the city (a plus in my opinion) so leave time to get to the central areas.

What can we say about this amazing boutique hotel. The building is beautiful the interior outstanding, Quirky, stylistic, colorful, full of art pieces, beautiful chandeliers quite simply unique I am sure. From the moment we entered the hotel we were amazed about the care of our fabulous host Camilla. Greeted with a warm smile and open arms. The breakfast experience is unforgettable and beautifully served. The suite was Cosy, spacious, cute and comfortable. Full of love and romance We can not recommend the hotel any higher and would have had a totally different experience in Amsterdam had we stayed somewhere else. The house was over the top beautiful With exceptional beds, rooms, bathroom tastefully restored to its original old style condition. Place is fit for royalty.

Its wonderful warm feeling created by its terrific owner Camilla!🤗. the garden Suite is over the top and her care to every detail, starting with amenities (wine, chocolates, water, champagne,etc,) not to mention an amazing over-the-top breakfast deserve a 10+++ review. It is a magical place. Coming straight off a wide street bustling with trams and bicycles you enter a different world - full of rich colour, swags of damask, urns overflowing with flowers and extravagant chandeliers. Over the road is the park; the bedrooms look into a courtyard garden with a bright red camelia in exuberant flower. It’s miraculously quiet and peaceful and beautiful - which makes it restorative to the spirit. Camilla is a wonderful host, attentive and generous and full of thoughtful ideas. The breakfast table was spectacular to look at and everything was delicious. We had an unforgettable time.

I stayed with my partner for a few days in November 2023. What a magical time we had! We stayed in the upstairs suite as the garden room as booked out. The bed was heavenly and the bathroom lovely. Amazingly spacious and comfortable. We were greeted by the lovely Camilla who serves the most amazing magical breakfasts complete with champagne. She really tried to cater to our needs and was receptive to our requests. A really special place and a delightful hostess.

This is a historical old house and so there are steep stairs when you enter so be aware of this if you are disabled etc. Also it is not as central as other places we have stayed in but was magical nonetheless and walking distance so it hardly mattered. The tram also stops right outside if you don't want to walk!

Our room was beautifully appointed , the breakfast was just the best.., and saved us money because we definitely didn’t need to buy lunch! The best part of our stay? Camilla, our host. Camilla’s care and attention, make staying at Breitner house truly special.

Great location, close to public transport and right across the road from the park. Great restaurants just around the corner Beautiful furnishings, felt like we were staying in a palace Wonderful bed and breakfast, fresh fruit every morning and the best quiche I’ve ever had.

This is the best place to stay in Amsterdam for a completely different experience, made possible by the hosts, who go to great lengths to make sure that we are absolutely happy. This B&B feels like a home because it is one! Our room ( we took the first floor one), was large, beautifully decorated (early 20th century style), and comfortable. Breakfast is an unforgettable experience, the table is decorated beautifully, wonderful breakfast goodies and classical music to round it off. Nothing is too much trouble for Camila, who was always at hand during our meal. Camila also made sure that our pre-stay requests were met and then topped it off with two lovely bottles of wine and some chocolates. Definitely the place to stay in Amsterdam.

The only warning is that this place is for people who have no problem going up and down steep stairs. The house has historical value, so it is understandable that the hosts did not change the interior layout.

The host was so nice and kind. the apartment is stylish and artistic. i loved the attention to details but most of all i loved the garden with the beautiful 30 year old tree.
