I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely apartment, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt right at home. Warm and Cozy: The apartment was warm, which was especially appreciated during the chilly evenings. It felt like a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. Comfortable Amenities: The apartment was equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable. Immaculately Clean: Cleanliness is a top priority for me, and this apartment exceeded my expectations. It was spotless! Kudos to the cleaning staff for their hard work. Friendly and Helpful Hosts: The hosts were delightful. They greeted me with a warm welcome and were always available to assist with any questions or requests. Their local recommendations were invaluable—I discovered some hidden places thanks to their helpful tips. Thank you!

Staircase Consideration: It’s worth noting that to reach the apartment, there are several narrow and steep stairs. While this wasn’t an issue for us, it might pose challenges for individuals with limited mobility or those who aren’t accustomed to climbing stairs.

Our host was absolutely phenomenal. The unit had everything we needed - coffee maker, dishware, toiletries, etc. Sure the entrance was narrow and so was the stairwell, but it comes with the territory. The location is perfect for getting around the city. On the edge of the downtown area, which we found quite pleasant.

As other reviews mention, there are 2 rooms, but one of them contains the kitchen and dining room. Not a bad thing at all so long as you don't have to wake the person in the room with the kitchen in order to get water, etc.

Very necessary location, wonderful host. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The terrace is lovely.

There s no living room in the apartment which makes it impossible to chill in the apartment.I’m used to climbing steep stairs in amsterdam and this is not worse than the others bur because it’s in the fifth floor it was too much for me.

Great location. Nice quiet part of town but In walking distance of all the major sights. Host was amazing and helpful. Beds comfortable. Good space compared to room only hotel. Nice restaurants near by and closet to bus connections. Nothing to fault. Highly recommend

We loved this property so much! The location was perfect and the layout was great for our family of 4 (kids 12,14). The rooftop terrace was my favorite part!

It was great! We have no complaints. Yes, there are five flights of stairs to climb to access the apartment, but we knew that go in it. Personally, I think it really added to our Amsterdam experience!

Great little apartment, nice outside terrace and GREAT location. Hostess was very helpful with lots of good information prior to our stay. The Foodhallen was a wonderful find!

The stairs were very difficult which unfortunately can't be changed but that was the only thing negative about this apartment. The building is old and lovely and that is just part of it!

Location is very convenient. Very walk-able to all the spots in downtown Amsterdam. Quiet yet safe street. The host is incredibly responsive and does her best to accomodate us arriving earlier than expected. Great suggestions on local places to eat.

Only suggestion is, we should book Hmm Hap early.

The location was great. The host was really attentive. The apartment was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Air conditioning was so amazing. The rooftop terrace was a plus.

The stairs are really steep and t being on the top floor their are a lot of then to climb. I was well aware of this though and it was totally manageable.

The location was great, the bus from the airport stops just across the canal from the apartment, and it was extremely easy to arrive. The apartment itself was very clean, bright and comfortable. There is a double bed in the living room and one in the bedroom, plenty of electric sockets and the kitchen area had all you can expect. There's even a small, portable, hot plate to cook a quick breakfast, a coffee/tea machine, and a table large enough for 4 people. The apartment was very clean throughout, spotless. The building is very well kept and clean, the rooftop terrace is easy to reach and delightful to spend time there.

Please be careful about how steep the stairs were, if you have mobility issues they can be a challenge. We knew this before hand, it did not impact our rating, but I am mentioning this for fellow travelers. Towards the apartment, the extractor fans in the bathroom (shower) were a bit old and dirty, and you could feel them struggling, and this sometimes left an odd smell behind. The kitchen area could also benefit from a small rack to dry dishes, we almost broke some plates trying to dry them.

The host was so kind and helpful with suggestions, the location was amazing! Very close to bus and tram stations if you needed them and if not a very quick walk into the city centre. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were immaculate. Great places to stay, 10/10 recommend
